Lovely coffee, lovely sandwiches, lovely service, but £6 for a small bagel and cream cheese? Bit pricey. And I'd give the cakes a miss. Still like it and will go back.

Highly recommend the homemade soup, the home baking and not to mention the coffee. Not many tables but cozy and friendly atmosphere.

Great little cafe. Excellent bacon, sausage, and egg role for the price. Coffee was ok. Opens early.

Terrible service. We waited over an hour between courses with no explanation. Brie bites came out frozen in the middle. Told the staff — they just reheated the same ones and gave them back. Seriously? Staff barely acknowledged us, loads of waiting around, and no one seemed to care. Won’t be back.

Stopped in for some lunch today. Friendly service with a good and varied choice of menu. Offers half portions of meals if more suitable. Brilliant value. Hot and cold options available. Felt like the teapot was bottomless, think it was 3 cupfuls in total!

There's something special about this place -- we entered with no idea - just wanted a coffee after driving from Edinburgh and looking at the abbey - then we were taken in by the menu and the homemade bread. - vegetarian and vegan options. Amazing coffee and home-cooked food and fresh sourdough, this place feels the love and care for its patrons. Highly recommend.
