Set in the peaceful entourage and style of Floors Castle, this little tearoom/restaurant is worth a visit!
We sat outside, looking over the walled garden, enjoying a coffee and treat.
Very friendly (and content) staff, quality products and... nice and quiet here!
We'll definitely be back, highly recommend this place.
Friendly staff, scrumptious food and great value!!
My husband had the Dirty chips with haggis and cheese melted on top and I had the goats cheese salad. Both were amazing and very filling.
I only wish I had room for their cake too!! Gives me a reason to go back again though.
This place is a must for food or drinks if just passing through or you could be like me and stay overnight. I have nothing but good things to say about this little gem and trust me I get to stay all over Scotland but this place impressed me.
Amazingly priced 3 course meal, great bar area as well as comfy seating in the dining area.
NEWSFLASH: Brenda's homemade Key Lime Pie was the best I have ever tasted, and trust me i have tasted lots over the years in Florida and at home but nothing comes close to hers.
As I pass through the Scottish Borders a couple of times a year I will definitely be booking this place again.
Well done staff, give yourselves a big pat on the back.

The check in was good. Lovely girl on reception. Rooms clean but dated and definitely need modernised.
Comfy bed. Overall though we wouldn't stay here again.
We were staying in the area and came across this pub whilst having a drive around. Plenty of parking available in the village.
Bar is lovely with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and outside.
Was very impressed with the extensive menu with additional vegan and gluten free options available.
As it was a nice day both me and my friend opted for a salad I had chips with mine and my friend had new potatoes. Both tasted gorgeous. Salad was very generous
Would definitely return when next in the area
On a beautiful Saturday in the spring sunshine, we headed to Lockerbie for a spot of lunch. Lovely egg mayo sandwich and a roll with lorne sausage and tattie scone. A special mention must go for the pot of tea, which had 2 teabags. Mm, lovely 😍
It is much more - it is a fine restaurant that also does takeaways. Sit in and experience the fantastic staff and fantastic decor. Cheese naan first and best. Original cheese naan, pint of lager, three lamb saag that's my order. Best curry in the Scottish borders. Amen x

Visited this pub yesterday and it was great, very quiet but service was top notch and it has to be one of cleanest pubs I've ever been in. The best pint of Stella I've ever had. Didn't have food but I will definitely be back.
We visited this tearoom today during a weekend trip to Melrose. The tearoom itself is lovely, very cosy with a real fireplace and the staff were really lovely and helpful. Naomi from the cafe recommended the Terry's Chocolate Orange Steamer, and it was delicious (see photos!)
After our hot drinks we perused the bookshop above the tearoom, there was a good selection of books! Finally we enjoyed a scenic walk, Old Melrose is beautiful. We will definitely be back!
