Myself and two friends decided to pop in here for breakfast one morning 2 of us had the big breakfasts and the other had a breakfast roll.
The big breakfasts were very large. I personally wasn't keen on the link sausage but that's just personal preference my friend liked there's everything els was exelent. There condaments were in individual sashets and the tomato ketchup wasn't nice all 3 of us agreed on that.
The service was exelent. We were handed menus as soon as we sat down. Once we placed our order the drinks arived quickly and our food not long behind it. All in all very good experience just avoid the ketchup
Was heading to Carlisle for a meeting this week and stopped in Moffat. I didn't have long so decided to buy a sandwich and cake. Was served by an extremely rude and badly trained and brash assistant. Customer service certainly wasn't her forte. She must have missed the staff training session, and is absolutely unsuited to the retail sector. Hopefully, the owner will realise this.
As for the food, the sandwich was decidedly average, bland and tasteless. To make matters worse I was given the wrong cake which looked somewhat tired. I certainly wouldn't recommend this outlet. To quote Dionne Warwick "Walk On By."
Ferry stopover popped in for a meal with our dog, super food and welcome...lovely restaurant section, made our dog very welcome, and supplied water and treats ( only our dog couldn't accept - as he is on a strict diet). highly recommended, we will be back....
Was excited to support local after moving to the area but when we visited during a Christmas event, a basic mac n cheese was very disappointing, dry and tasted like bread, not cheese.
I wouldn't normally leave a bad review but I guess you can't improve if we don't feedback.
Pizza was good and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Look forward giving it another chance
Whilst in town I decided to to have breakfast not eaten in Dalbeattie for long time as usually else where I opted for the granite kitchen only one I'd use in town service was perfect by Hannah food was absolutely delicious had been while since had breakfast in here definitely not disappointed perfection with quality food items complete with an amazing latte top marks to chef / owner Angela will be back definitely best latte I've had perfection
Have visited here before but didn’t write a review .. so sorry to the owner as the staff then and now we’re friendly , attentive and the meals again were super. Looking forward to visiting again.
Beautiful family run hotel, the food was exquisite, beautifully presented and very tasty, the Robert was extremely tentative seeing we had brought a bottle of wine came along with a wine cooler, the attention to detail was second to none, he also gave us great advice on visiting a beautiful local church which was a must see , and only around 5 miles to visit Gretna Green and a few hundred yards from the English/Scottish Border we just can’t wait for a return visit Thank You for a memorable visit.
Absolutely beautiful home cooked food was absolutely delicious, the owner was a lovely chap made us feel so welcome his wife can certainly cook definitely recommend to others little hidden gem
We came here last night for Galentine’s Bottomless Brunch, we’ve always loved Early Bird but this was our first bottomless experience here. Just WOW! It was by far the best bottomless we have ever been to! All of the staff were so lovely and accommodating, drinks kept flowing and food was 10/10. They even went the extra mile by putting 21st birthday decorations out for my sister. Would highly recommend! Thank you Early Bird team for a fantastic evening!!
I like to stop here for breakfast when I travel up to the north of Scotland from down south
It’s only about 5 minutes off the main A74 (M) in Lockerbie town centre.
Lots of free street parking outside the shop .
The good thing about Greggs in Scotland is they sell Lorne sausage… unlike their English and Welsh stores and it’s delicious!
10/10
Is it ok for a hospitality business not to take any details from customers during this time I think this is very irresponsible and I do hope no one has the virus and just carries on passing it because this business does not care, not one member of staff had a mask on and members of the public could go behind the bar and serve customers if the staff where busy
Great when it's open but unbelievably inconsistent with its opening times and days
Constantly shut for this and that, excuse after excuse
Not the best way to run a business
We were just looking for somewhere to chill with a coffee. It is such a welcoming place. Lovely and spacious with a relaxed vibe. The lady that served us was super friendly. We didn’t eat but the menu was wide ranging, including vegetarian options and fairly priced. We had coffee and tea and it was perfect. I could have sat here all afternoon.
