Had great afternoon tea, delicious, staff were great.

Lovely outdoor seating. Wonderful surroundings.

Lovely Place and very nice food and not too expensive.. 10 out of 10 will be back some time soon thank you.

This cafe is in the grounds of Flours Castle, food was very good, freshly cooked, good range of choices of food and drinks

Located in the castle's gardens, the spot is the perfect place for refreshments when visiting. The menu has many delicious options, the staff is friendly and you have a chance of sitting outside overlooking lovely plants and flowers. Food was tasty too!

Fairly busy when we arrived despite it being mid-afternoon. I was greeted by a helpful member of staff and, as we had 2 dogs with us, we were seated outside in the walled garden area. Lovely spot and sheltered from the slight breeze. Our order was taken and the drinks served quickly. We didn't have long to wait for the food either, which was nicely presented, hot and tasty. Thoroughly recommend - you don't have to pay entrance if just going to the cafe.

Decent cafe inside the castle walls of Floors castle. They stopped serving food at 15:00 but cakes, coffee and tea were still possible.

Ran out of scones at 12.30 on a Sunday. Seriously.

Expensive for what it was. Lunch offerings poor with no vegan options and no mention of any of the produce being locally sourced. Had the fish wrap which had minimal fish content and severely lacking in any seasoning. This cost £15 (chips extra) and represented poor value bearing in mind we had a Mother's Day roast at a quality local hotel near by for less! My wife had a starter as a main but the portion size again was poor. Staff attentive and nice setting but best to take your custom elsewhere in Kelso if you want a decent lunch without being ripped off.

Lovely cafe situated within the garden centre. Extensive menu for both food and drinks. Great outdoor sitting area for the warmer months.

Booked afternoon tea for October in July and when we arrived they knew nothing about it, the staff there were fab and we were lucky it was overly busy to be able to still accommodate in some form

The location is beautiful but there was contradictory messages, A gate with on entry on it, dog drinking bowls out side, but you can't bring your dog through the cafe to get to the terrace, which was bluntly put to us.

We had a special tour around Floors Castle’s walled gardens with the assistant head gardener - Kate, who made the tour a fun pleasure of an afternoon. Followed by a cream tea, which was delightful and they catered to our dietary needs. Sandwiches, cakes and scones all washed down with Prosecco and a really good latte coffee. Would definitely go back to Floors Castle in Kelso and maybe next time we will visit inside of the castle.

Expensive for what you got. Overpriced . The service by staff was rushed once we sat down . Although a couple of younger staff were nice , the supervisor/manager needs to brush up on her customer service skills. She was a bit sniffy and rather surly. Our table was booked via telephone but we were only allowed to have it for 1.5 hrs which wasn't mentioned when I booked it. We were already waiting for our reserved table because someone had ours so had to wait til they finished. The supervisor/manager had an off hand manner and when we complained about the brushetta which was hard and difficult to cut through, we got one serrated knife between two , which wasn't much better. The tagliatelle was like a starter not a main course. It left the 4 of us feeling we didn't have a proper meal and left us hungry which wasn't acceptable. Two of us got cakes to fill us up a bit! When we did complain the supervisor/manager didn't apologise just said "I'll let the chef know". She was clearly put out by our complaint. We didn't feel relaxed and given it's part of Floors Castle we thought we'd get quality service and food but we got neither. So would not recommend.

Very friendly staff. Food amazing. I had fish wrap, which was so delicious, and like a posh fish finger. My brother had relish burger. Well the burger was moist and vet tasty. The chips are a must. They are soft and fluffy inside with a crunchy chrispy outside. Nice to have a choice of teas. Must try it on your visit

Eat here regularly and the food is always delicious often using fresh local ingredients. The staff are lovely, very welcoming .

Was a lovely visit, although a little bit pricey. Not sure it warrants the price tag that it carries. But it did help that we visited one lovely day.

Small portions but a very good menu

Nice café restraunt. Best to book and reserve a table in advance. We hadn't and were grudgingly shown to a table but only allowed to stay up to a set time. The menu only caters for full lunches or teatime snacks. No lunch snacks listed. So bear that in mind when planning your day. We had already planned to have a main meal in the evening so had to have a teatime snack for lunch. We would have gone elsewhere but the other café was closed for a private party. Some of the staff were nice. In all it was a bit disappointing.

Had drinks outside here - beautiful place, well worth a visit as looks out on the most stunning flower gardens.

Lovely spot to sit out with a coffee and not expensive. Drinks and food were a bit variable - Americano was nice, but cappuccino not that frothy (milk was too hot). Brownie and scone were good, the cake a bit dry.

Very good priced and quality Sunday lunch

We took the bruschetta as starter, the mussels as main course and the gelato as desert. All those things were just delicious! Really tasty menu (drinks and food). The staff made us feel really welcome and we enjoyed their company. Thanks for everything!

This place was lovely, good food nice coffee.

We visited the castle as a birthday day out for my wife. We were offered outside seating on arrival but we declined not knowing that the inside seating would hurt my wife's sciatica. When we realised we requested a move to outside, this seemed to cause confusion and was not acted on. We sat and watched other diners offered outside as they arrived as we waited patiently to be reseated - not to be, we therefore ate quickly and left which was the only blot on an otherwise wonderful day.

The castle and grounds are brilliant. 5 Star. However we couldn't get a cuppa and a bite to eat in the terrace cafe as all available tables were reserved (about 50%).Had we known,we also wd have made a reservation as we were the first to visit that day. There is another cafe in the grounds but not as nice as this one and we had already passed it. That's the breaks!

I love coming to Floors, and on a sunny day the Terrace is a delight. Food and service both excellent and the staff are always cheerful and ready to help. If I lived nearer, I would be a regular visitor. It's usually quite busy, have fallen lucky so far in getting a table but I would recommend booking if they take them. Indoors is nice too, but eating alfresco would be my recommendation.

We so enjoyed Floors Castle, gardens, shops etc. It was wonderful and staff were all excellent. Sadly we did not receive a friendly welcome at the garden cafe. The manner in we were spoken to was unacceptable. We think senior staff here need to look at this aspect.

I don't usually like cafes at attractions in the UK but this one was a pleasant surprise. They have tables in the walled garden, which is a lovely place to sit when the weather is fine. We enjoyed our BLT and chicken wrap, both served with a nice fresh little mixed salad. There were lots of delicious looking cakes and pastries too.

It was a pleasure to eat here, the food was very tasty. We didn't have a reservation but the staff were welcoming and the service was extremely efficient. If you have a four legged friend they are most welcome. I would highly recommend booking to save disappointment as they are constantly busy.

Not impressed,not much to chose for a gluten free diet , and the kedgeree I ordered was horrible .

Food was exellent. Staff were lovely and very attentive despite the number of customers. We were seated outside when it started to rain, although we were dry enough under the large table umbrellas, they kindly offered to move us to another table which was completely sheltered under the fold out canopy. We went back later for cakes which were also delicious
