£7 for flavoured rice. Half full portions at that.
No tandoori oven used, therefore lack of flavour, naan breads in pizza oven, This also means chicken tikka isn't as flavoursome as it could be. But even this used to be fried with onions and fresh coriander. Nowadays, it's microwaved.
Nothing on the menu is cheap, so you'd expect quality.
Unfortunately nothing that we purchased value for money. Prices now so high it's extortionate, with cost saving evident in every dish.
Avoid.
Decent enough chippy, always busy and reasonably priced. Would give a 5 star, but the portion sizes of the chips could be bigger. Otherwise a decent bite to eat.
We were looking for a curry carry out in Buckie. We were not sure where to go. The Shabaz Tandoori was the first establishment serving carry out curries we came across. We were not disappointed!!! We ordered two curries a garlic naan and pilau rice. Everything we ordered was delicious. Thank you to all staff who prepared such delicious food.
We had a lovely takeaway from here tonight. However I was quite surprised when my husband told me that there was no hand sanitizer when you entered the shop. Also there was no perspex covering on the counter. Also the staff were not wearing masks etc. Is this normal for a takeaway?

15 minutes in drive through queue. No explanation from staff. When I received my burger it was squashed with a lot of the filling not on the flatten bun.

Great service, and amazing quality food. Well worth a visit. We stopped by for dinner twice in a week whilst staying in the local area. The Ham Hock Terrine, and Chicken stuffed with Haggis were both top draw. Beautifully constructed dishes with delicious flavours. Would highly recommend
I was surprised to see the many vegan options considering the size of the place. but I got fooled. the food was completely tasteless and for that, very overpriced!
the veggie chili, which was declared as the special of the day was the worst I ever had, the rice must’ve been warmed up, because the rice grains were hard. the sausage, beans and chips my boyfriend had was equally tasteless, the chips not even salted.
you better stay away and spend your money somewhere else!
We came here with high hopes only to be disappointed. The restaurant wasn’t cleaned properly same with your drinking glasses, … We were with a lot who ordered many different things and no one finished there plate. The presentation was wack the food was dry or to watery. The curry looked absolutely horrendous. They weren’t even sure if it was supposed to look like that. There was a mix up also so our food came seperate over a time span off around 30 minutes. We didn’t stay in the hotel so that might be ok but certainly DO NOT come for the food it sucks.
Absolutely abysmal. I would trust these dishonest cowboys to boil an egg never mind make a pizza. The whole experience with this branch and their “area manager” Amy was disgraceful. Apparently this franchise has three within Elgin and Inverness, what an embarrassment to the Dominos brand they are. Totally dishonest, rude and incompetent. My recommendation is to avoid this place at all costs.
