Cookies Chinese Takeaway in Highland

We had a lovely takeaway from here tonight. However I was quite surprised when my husband told me that there was no hand sanitizer when you entered the shop. Also there was no perspex covering on the counter. Also the staff were not wearing masks etc. Is this normal for a takeaway?

The salt and chilli chicken pieces were inedible and possibly a tooth breaker, the chips were greasy and soggy, the prawn toasts were burnt and the prawn crackers were not fresh. Out of an almost £25 meal the only thing we ate were the chicken balls. Very disappointed.

Had an enjoyable takeaway from here later on a Friday night. It was quiet, as was the rest of the town, but the food was enjoyable. The lady serving was charming and very efficient.

I've ordered a few times from here for a quick dinner when i haven't had time in my day to make one. The staff are lovely and it's a very prompt delivery service. Food is not bad, i've always found it to be a tad greasy, it's not terrible but not amazing either.

Visited here for the first time the other night and obvuously picked the wrong night. When I ordered my meal I was informed that my would take approximately 30 minutes. This was fine as I could see several people already waiting. As the time wore on may people called for pick-ups or deliveries only to be told it would take up to 2 hrs for their orders. I waited 1hr 15mins for my meal. I obviously picked the wrong night. Local football match, international rugby on the tv and miserable weather adding to the amount of phone orders. That said, my shredded beef in chilli sauce with fried rice was very tasty indeed. I will go back the next time I visit Dingwall. Hopefully it'll be a quieter night. I'll also say that the staff stayed polite and professional with the amount of calls they were recieving from customers waiting for deliveries.
