Mr Rice in Highland

Lovely food, really popular in town, always busy, nice staff :) Can be tricky parking.

Order made for delivery at 8pm. At 10pm still not delivered, shop said order was not on the screen but a double check showed it was. Reordered for following day. After 2 hours at 9pm still not received then suddenly some old chap turned up with a leaky soaking wet pizza box dripping with oil, cold food all mixed up, literary folding in half and falling apart, and said he had trouble finding me despite detailed instructions, won't be using them again.

30 minutes late,I am not amused

Ordered at 5 never came till 7:45 salt and pepper chips were stone cold beef chow main was chewy and tough not impressed

Really good food , prawns were very big in portion size and cooked to perfection as was the chicken. Quick delivery and always notified of the order . Will defo order from them again. 😀

Chips were undercooked, box was soggy which made the contents less appealing

Ordered fried rice with curry sauce but only received a tub of curry sauce. Disappointing but the rest of the order was good.

Ordered one dish at 7:45, told 8:55 for delivery then delayed until 9:25 didn’t arrive until 10:10. Way too long for just a single dish order. Once order was out for delivery it still was 30 mins before it arrived and only a 10 min journey

Delicious food, my only wee complaint is that the beef was a bit too tough.

The Just Eat app did not put the order through correctly to the restaurant. The restaurant was excellent in sorting the problem out and delivered as quickly as possible, on New Year’s Day too.

Got chow mein. The noodles were soggy and it was all really greasy

Singapore fried noodle is delicious , but beef is too tough can’t chew it, and bbq chicken wing is too salty ,recommend hot and sour soup

Delicious as always. Spring rolls were different from usual but very tasty.

My new go-to Chinese takeaway. Superb food and a fuss-free delivery.

Takes ages to deliver, asked for some item's to be omitted from meal but added some anyway. Nice food , amazing chips, nice chicken and satay sauce and nice fried rice.

Have always had a good meal from Mr Rice however shredded chicken arrived looking rather sad for itself, cold & soggy. Disappointed.

Delivery time was quoted as 45-60 minutes and needed up being in the region of 2 hours and 15 minutes. When I called, the person in the shop said they “did not know” when the delivery was made as they were “very busy” - it’s a common occurrence

Twenty minutes late. Then to find the items were not cooked in curry sauce that just been poured over the top. Had to blast it in the microwave because it was cold. Not impressed at all.

Never again ordered through Inverness eats at 18.45 got a phone call at 20.15 asking will I have the correct money as I was paying by cash ,21.00 I phoned them chasing up delivery i was told there just leaving I cancelled order as I had to go out

If you like your food cold and late this is your place to order from. Also to top it all off 5mins before receiving food I get a call from delivery driver demanding more money

Still haven't received it. Delivery time said 50-60 minutes when placing order. Then changed to 1h 30 minute- 1h 45 minutes. That’s been nearly 2 hours since we placed order and still not received it!!

Delivery was on a time frame window. However when my food arrived and I did start unpacking it I've found out that half of my wonton soup was off from container and in plastic bag. My thai garlic and chilli chicken arrived in sweet and sour sauce with pieces of pineapple. Not sure what goes wrong there but my expectation was different for thai food. Chicken itself wasn't a breast chicken but dip fried shredded chicken. When called restaurant to let them know, no apologies were said. Poor service

I asked for my delivery for eight pm! Just eat came back with five past eight,i have not recieved my order yet,i phoned and was told you asked for it after eight,i am diabetic and thats why it is important to get food on time,no doorbell ringno food

Esta comida era de rango. Mi pollo en salsa de chile era de rango, más como una salsa agridulce. Ni idea de en qué estaban adobados los trozos de pollo. Las patatas fritas no estaban frescas, probablemente cocinadas en Mr Chips a la hora del almuerzo. Y el arroz no estaba mucho mejor. Despilfarro total de dinero Asqueroso.

Ordered our food, 3 items, over 2 hours after ordering our items our food arrived cold and not to the usual standard of mr rice.

Absolutely Rank and late. I have never had a worse BBQ spare ribs, had a strange chemical taste to them. Spewed up the beef curry. Never again. Avoid avoid avoid.

Been working in Inverness for the last 3 weeks and ordered 4 times, food is amazing best Chinese I’ve tried up here. Delivery charge appears high at £4.50 but very much worth it and as I don’t know the area I may be staying some distance from restaurant so won’t judge on that. Overall food is fantastic

Ordered food at 9pm, arrived at 11.30! Bought my partner it for his birthday dinner (we work late) and arrived too late to eat and the box is soaking wet. I could drive to Perth and eat there quicker. The food wasn’t even that great either. Maybe they were having an “off”day but not worth the money or time! I don’t normally do reviews as I know how these go, but this was ridiculous.

Had to phone the restaurant for an update as nothing was coming through the Just Eat app. and when the food did arrive it was cold and soggy. Even the box it came in was that soggy and wet it was falling apart.

Ribs were charcoals, chicken was inedible as over fried, chips were cold. Terrible place, I'd recommend you avoid

Very salty most of dinner in bin and spare ribs sauce split have taken picture supposed to be Peking sauce but it was like salt sauce

Food arrived earlier than expected. Ribs were a bit dried out. Everything else was great. Best chicken curry I have had in a while, nice bit of heat to it but not too hot. Recommend

Delivered half an hour after ordering. Large portions. My wife had to split hers into 2 meals. Plenty of decent king prawns in the chow mein. Plenty of everything else, cashew nuts and mushrooms, prawn crackers. Pretty hot when delivered but 45 seconds for each meal in the microwave mad3 it spanking hot. Top marks.

Food 25 minutes late even after I was sent a text about it being delayed already. Delivery driver went to wrong destination. Food was luke-warm but not hot. However still tasted good.

Ordered online for a 6pm delivery (1714144761), the order was confirmed. It’s now 7.20 and nothing. I’m now making my dinner from the freezer, I won’t be using them again.

Food was cold, greasy and hard to chew the beef. Pretty disappointed as I used to like Mr rice.
