The foods are total out of the taste they are supposed to! I believe the Cook may not know how to cook at all. Simply mess up the ingredients, and it is called chinese food. If their food is good, there will not be any bad foods. Yeaks!

Very bad customer service. Delivery was very late. I had to call them 7-8 times to get my food. Very unprofessional. Food was cold and dry as well. Very bad experience I had with them.

Ordered a delivery as it was the only place open - the food was absolutely awful. I couldn't even eat it. I ordered a munchie box and it was just a total mess of mixed up food. The one star rating is for the delivery driver who was very pleasant. That's about all I can say positive about this.

Never experienced food as disgusting as this in my life. Our order was simple: 1 x duck in orange, 1 fried rice, 1 x chicken fried rice, 1 x Noodles with beansprouts and onions, 1 x chips. We received: no duck, just a can of fanta orange, no fried rice, 2 x noodles without onions or beansprouts, 1 chicken fried rice, 2 x chips. The food looked and tasted like it was days old. It was so loaded in black pepper it made us cough. If you're hankering for a Chinese meal, don't go here. Disgusting.

Delivery of cold food outside of hot delivery bag after apparently leaving shop 30mins earlier

Nous avons passé commande sur Uber Eat et il manquais une partie de la commande, il n’y avais pas de couverts. Aucunes photos donc aucune idée des doses nous avons commandé deux fois trop… les plats était fades mais relativement correct, nous ne conseillons pas pour autant.

Ok, here’s why I give this place 5 stars. It is exactly what it is supposed to be, Greasy Chinese take out! If you are expecting typical Chinese takeout, this place will satisfy. If you are expecting a 5 star dining experience, this place is not for you. The staff is nice and friendly. The food is good.

Awful through and through, ordered just after 6.30pm through an online app, order was accepted, delivery estimated to be around 7.10pm, given it being a Saturday night I expected it to be a bit late maybe 20 minutes or so, I expected it to be delivered about 7.30, by 8pm I had to call to ask why it hadn't been delivered yet. The woman on the phone was apologetic and said it would be with me soon, as a sorry they would throw in some prawn crackers, 8.30 rolls round 2 hours after the order was placed and accepted and it finally arrives. Ordered 2 munchie boxes, the food was sad and soggy, the pizza box it was in looked like it had been kicked up and down the kitchen, ribs were ok as was the rice, the southern fried stuff was vile, not actual fillets, mushy inside and none of it very warm, the garlic sauce I ordered was missing and I never got the promised prawn crackers so most of it went in the bin, poor service, low quality food, be avoiding this place for a while. If they can't deliver in a timely manner they shouldn't accept the order. Update: I was about to change this review as my husband convinced us to order again from there, and it's not been badover the last 3 orders, but I ordered online tonight and 2 hours and 15 minutes later and no food had arrived, inconsistent quality and delivery, they really need to do better.

Table of 4 ordered and I can honestly say everyone has said worst take away ever. At age 76 that shouldn’t be taken lightly. The meal was delivered over an hour after it was promised, and I think that’s probably the only reason it was eaten, From salt and chilli tofu that had no flavour other than flour, to lamb skewers that grandparents almost lost their dentures too and bland dishes. Missing sauces, and chicken logs rather than balls. The rice, the highlight of the meal, was satisfactory at best. Words like perseverance and ‘we’re starving but can muster on’ have been issued. Order at your peril.

Absolutely shocking service. Husband ordered through just eat for delivery and finally turned up late. After even phoning up we were advised that we hadn't placed an order (which we did). Every meal tasted of vinegar and was extremely watery. It was that bad that we threw it all in the bin and ordered from somewhere else. Don't know how they can call themselves a business with serving food like that 🤢 not even the dog would eat anything so that says it all.

She was nice but was very reluctant to change the order she made wrong because she heard wrong. Also, she charged extra for an order that was off the menu but didn’t know how to make. Should have been honest to say it was not possible rather than trying to make a quick buck. Was charged 6 pounds for a drink that was not drinkable, had to chuck it immediately.

Took an hour and 20 mins (Monday) to get here and that was after phoning to say not here within required time. Order wrong - chicken toast rather than prawn. Chicken toast huge and unappetising. Main dish was meant to be fried chicken, was not fried and sauce awful. Will never order from here again

Salt chili chips and chicken skewers are amazing. Teriyaki chicken noodles are also 👌 would definitely recommend trying this place.

Do not order from here. Was told 15 minutes for delivery and over an hour and a half later still no delivery. Phoned the restaurant on numerous occasions to be told it was on its way, this was not the case. Was then given the option to pick up which was not feasible as we did not have a car. When the food finally arrived it tastes like it was all covered in salt and the "crispy items" were soft so it was clearly microwaved. Food was average but service was terrible. Avoid at all costs. Dominoes is cheaper and at least you can track the driver

The delivery was on time and good, the food was decent although just a little unremarkable, tasted like any other Chinese takeaway and I wish they would use more spice.

Took our money, canceled just eat order and marked it as delivered so we are now fighting them for our refund, they've lied and told us it will be in our account soon and yet nothing still. I will be paying you a visit soon ..... Update - We got our money back.

This is probably the worse takeaway I have ever had. The soup was bland, the duck spring rolls were much on the inside, but the ribs were enabled. The vermicelli had a lot of moisture in the meal, making it wet. Annoying as it cost £36. I will not be visiting again.

I have to say. Was a bit worried. 1. Lots of bad reviews. 2. No hygiene rating. However this was the only place open on Uber eat. And I was not disappointed. Proper Chinese. Wide selection. Good flavours, I don't know if I won the rulete but I don't have any complains. Ordered from the hotel next to Inverness airport. So they charged me £3 on top of delivery fee, which was understandable. I liked the fact that somebody from the restaurant called after I ordered and confirmed delivery time.

Absolute joke of a takeaway. Can't be bothered writing the same review as I did on just eats, but it looks like everyone on google has the same issue. Edit: the more i think about this the more I realise how bad they are. My address is at the end of a street, so i will always go out to take delivery. Not that it's difficult to find - gps/google/bing/anything will direct them to my exact flat, but normally i just i want to make it easy for them so go out to the street to meet them. This one didn't give me warning they were coming, then got annoyed when they couldn't find me. 30 seconds to wait for me to come down? NO TOO BUSY. To gooogle, to bing, to get out and look at the door numbers? NO TOO BUSY.

So decided to try new Chinese for a change ordered at half 7 still no sign at half nine eventually arrived at 10 pm wot a disappointment half the food wasn't even in the box no prawn toast or chicken balls very disappointed won't be using again

Food is a lottery. Had multiple orders and sometimes its good but other times it's sickening. Mock chicken tastes like it's gone off and gyoza is undercooked and bland. Satay doesn't even taste like satay.

Awful service, not worth the hassle. Delivery time says 45mins on deliveroo app, after placing order I called to check but the woman on the phone says minimum 2 hours waiting time. She then gave me 3 options - either pick up myself (despite I chose delivery option on deliveroo), or wait for 2 hours for delivery, or cancel the order. She and I agreed to cancel the order - after she hang up my call multiple times, despite I spoke Chinese to her - so there is no language barrier here. She then didn’t cancel the order, and I had to go through the process with deliveroo to get my money back. Save yourself some trouble - go somewhere else.

Been waiting 3 hours for delivery tonight. Lady hung up the phone on me when I called to ask about order. When food arrived some items missing. Avoid! Shouldn’t be running a business

Sauces were separate from the main dishes, and not very nice. Lemon sauce very bitter, no sweetness, and sweet & sour sauce overly sweet, very gloopy. Fried tofu was good, and the gyozas, but extortionate price for what it was. Disappointing.

The experience was typical of these types of business uncaring staff pretended not to understand english and even understand the issue and was adament about the issue that they was right and i was wrong . We did eventually get the delivery driver to be sympathetic but it was the businesses fault not the customer please comment . We ordered food on the just eat app when you put your postcode in we was at inverness airport around 7 miles from the takeaway you get the app to charge you a delivery fee which is £4.50 why didnt the business say £10.50 this is what they wanted we would have paid this but no the boss of the business was so rude and then when i needed them again they was always cooking. This attitude is just going to get them no customers i felt as a contract was made on the app the £4.50 should of been honored so in the end a disabled family with no car at night was left hungry well done hongkong garden

Very rude stuff and I waited for my food for 2h to get Delivered and then they tell me after 2h of my waiting for my food that I need to pay extra fee for delivery while there was nothing about this on the app I ordered it from. Very upset with this place

Fast delivered, Good food's and drink's

The delivery was quicker than expected, took 40 mins when we were predicted almost two hours. Called to check our order had been placed but had to read 12 digit order number, give postcode, name, then full address and phone number over the phone to someone with very broken English. Phone call took 20 mins just to check if they had received the order. The food turned up but wasn’t good at all. Everything was dry and tough and flavourless unfortunately. And the prices are much higher than most takeaways.

I've tried every Munchie box in Inverness except this one so I thought I would try the 12 inch munchie box tonight. Asked politely for a slight adjustment which they did and I have to say this is by far the best Munchie box I've had in Inverness and I will be reccomending it to everyone and anyone who asks where to get a good munchie box. I've eaten other food from here before and it's always tasted amazing, arrived quickly and hot. I'm likely to use it as my main go to takeaway now.

It's nothing to write home about in terms of food quality, but it had a more varied menu than I'm used to seeing here. I ordered from here reasonably often, with larger orders since we're a bit of a bigger family. Each time there was an issue that I tried to ignore, but it's been made pretty clear that the restaurant does not really care about its customers so unfortunately I will not be ordering from here again. Most recently, I ordered at 3PM for an order to be delivered at 4. I received a call at 4:30 that they could not make one of my drinks (I ordered 3, between £3.50 and £4.50 each), but that they would substitute another one. It didn't arrive until about 5:30PM, was still missing a third drink, and (as I look at the receipt now), I'm seeing they also left out the cheesecake (£4.50). I called the shop and the person on the phone said she would have the manager refund the £3.50, which obviously never happened or else I wouldn't be writing this review (mistakes happen, but this is more than just a one-time mistake, clearly). So that's £8 worth of food on a £42.96 order that never arrived, the food that did arrived an hour and a half late (not that unusual from this restaurant in my experience), and no one ever even attempted to make things right. Again, depressing, since the menu was at least somewhat different from the standard Chinese offerings, and I tried several times to see if it was just bad luck, but this just seems to be the way they do business.

Really delicious food, delivered early. Just the right amount of heat in the green Thai chicken. Thank you Dry ribs were delicious, vegetables were fresh.

This should be a minus 5 star if it was possible, Ordered through just eat as visiting the area , 1 special curry and 1 chips to the Marriott hotel in Inverness, £9.50 for the meal £4.50 for delivery considering it’s 7 miles from the shop itself but that’s their price , OR WHAT I THOUGHT , My phone rings a couple of minutes after I made the order , it’s the Chinese restaurant on the phone telling me , the delivery charge is not enough it is now going to be £12 delivery , I could send their meal half way around the world for £12 , phoned just eat , sure enough they are ripping people of they think do not know any better and soon to be removed from just eat , for fraudulent behaviour, order from this takeaway at your own risk

Complete horror show in customer service. I ordered at 19:00, no food at 21:00, called them and they said it’s ready in the kitchen now and will be 15 minutes. At 22:00 the Uber eats app says rate your order / completed. I wait until 22:15 then I call again and she says oh we tried to deliver and we called your number lots of times but you didn’t answer. We can deliver again but you need to agree to pay the delivery fee again. I had been sitting by the phone and door since 19:00 because I was hungry with no missed calls. She said my number must be wrong as I was definitely called. I said what number did she call and she said she can’t tell me because it’s done through Uber eats (despite me having called them directly at 21:00 and every previous Uber eats driver calling me when food arrives. Then said either I pay another delivery fee or can’t deliver and that she’s not going to argue with me as they’re very busy. Uber eats have given me a refund obviously seeing no calls but don’t order from here unless you want a 50/50 chance your food may not turn up and still be charged and for them to keep telling you you’re food is 15 minutes away until it’s too late to order from anyone else… enjoy!

Very poor food, little or no taste to the items and delivery was painfully slow......I mean if you want to wait 1hr 45min for a meal to arrive cold and soggy then this place has you covered.

I stay not far from this takeway and wow you should see the place always food just left about they had lots of flys and eggs out the back where the kitchen is and outside they were having a fire too when they were not meant too I wouldn't eat from here they are also putting there stuff that is not meant to be put in a green bin which they were told they could not do that and they still are do it and this is not fake at all

I know the reason why their delivery service is pathetic. The lady at the counter should learn basic communication manners. You are in a country where people’s first priority is to speak politely and not at all yelling to the staff and the delivery people the way she does on regular basis. I was a customer today and she was so trapped with the orders came from the phone calls she messed up everything and putting blame on the delivery man. She is not at all competent on managing things. And Shen must learn to speak in a polite, clear and in a proper manner. Yelling and considering yourself higher and does stupid things does not help at all. Food and shop hygiene is at the lowest level. Spring rolls were not properly cooked and sweet n sour vegetable with noodles was below average (they don’t even know how to cook food and main hygiene as per quality standards) Authorities should take action against the store and its people. I will not recommend this store and food to anyone.

Zero stars awarded here. Terrible service to say the least. Ordered from uber eats to be delivered to me only 0.8 miles away from the shop. Two hours later and still waiting. Phoned the shop to ask what's happening but replied with excuse after excuse saying it on the way! What a joke! Order at your own risk.

Spent £3 for a bottle of coke which didnt arrive with the meal. Which is fine accidents happen. Phoned up to get my juice was told it was on the way. Phoned again a hour later still no juice. Then a grand total of 2 hours still waiting i called to be told that its on the way and then they just hang up…if they were just honest there would be no problem but to deliver a item 5 minute drive away from them is not a difficult task. Im still waiting Credit where credit is due the food is good but the service has been a let down

Quite honestly one of the worst Chinese restaurants, from their deliveries, to their quality of food. I can say with confidence any Chinese would be nicer then this place. Avoid it like the plague.

I really wish I’d read the reviews before ordering. Used Ubereats and the order was on time. And that’s the only good thing to say. The starter box was dry, overcooked, and sauce less. Ended up straight in the bin. Drinks warm. Sweet and sour Cantonese pork so doughy and chewy we gave up. Recommend avoiding.

Amazing wee gem of a place the salt n chili chips are the best ever noone can make them like there . The sweet n sour tofu and other food beats any other chinese we tried and I'm not really a chinese person more italian but this place has me hooked. Staff friendly, excellent customer service skills and highly recommend to anyone everything is just perfect with generous sized portions .just talking about it has me hi Gary now!!!🙂

After 2 hours of my food delivery not turning up I called and was told the food was on its way. Another half hour later food still hadn't showed up. Was offered a refund but had to call back the next day cause they only partially refunded me. Hopeless.

Waited 1hr 30 minutes for a munchie box....over half of the items were cold, dough on chicken balls not cooked and very dry/chewy, dim sum uncooked and pastry very untidy with very little filling, ribs cold and no flavour, chicken skewers very dry and chewy, chicken wings....to scared to eat....chips and tub of curry sauce only items eaten by us.

We first ordered from here during the first lockdown and ordered more since . Good and bad points here goes . Bad .If you order via just eat app then orders tend to be extremely late or items missing .it takes an hour and half approax to then come .Good.The food ordered (tofu sweet and sour with salt and chili chips along with bbq spare ribs and yeng chow fried rice I think it's called?) Was absolutely delicious we honestly couldn't fault it lastnite (15/6/2021) .if you order via direct from the chinese itself they are amazing the staff have always been extremely friendly and even gave us free food in the past to try like tofu satay and wifes cake .it wasn't like some Chinese takeaways the sweet and sour tofu was very fresh .its our favourite chinese .however on certain days you get a different chef and sometimes the foods not at it's normal high standards when cooked but we certainly recommend it and will be back again Hong Kong kitchen _thankyou so much for another delicious meal we will see you again soon !.

Have ordered from here previously because they have also done me a Gluten Free Vegetarian meal. Yes always very late and almost always cold when it gets here but my only option of eating GF Chinese. Tonight ordered what I have ordered several times before clearly checking that it would be GF. When it arrived nearly 40 later than they said my order looked completely different to every other time. When I telephoned to ask if it was GF they said yes without going to check. As a Celiac eating gluten would make me very ill and the coating on the Tofu looked exactly like to coating on the non GF prawns and nothing like the previous I ended up not chancing it as simply ddnt believe them and didnt want to spend the rest of the week ill. Will never order from here again as even for the rets of the family, always being late and cold, far too unreliable Would not recommend on any level.

Awful service, waited over two and a half hours for my order and it still didn't show up. I phoned them and was told it was on the way, tried to phone again and got no answer. I cancelled and got a refund through the app I ordered on.

I used Inverness Eats to order a Sunday treat for my family today.I placed an order on the app at 1542 and asked for delivery ASAP.Delivery was promised before 1645.With a young family, routine is everything.At 1645, I checked the app and it said it was out for delivery.I checked numerous times after.At 1730, I phoned the restaurant to be told my order was still in the kitchen but would be delivered soon.At 1815, I phoned again to be told order was just leaving.I asked for a refund.I was told order was on its way.I asked for a refund anyway and was told they’d send me the food and refund me as a goodwill gesture.It is now 1910.Still no food.Then I checked on Tripadvisor! This restaurant has appalling reviews and it looks like many have had a worse experience for me.It strikes me that the success of your app depends on the service and delivery of the service from the restaurants you market on your app.There is nothing on your app as a consumer for me to gauge the quality of the restaurant or to make other people aware of how bad it is.Absolutely embarrassing for Inverness

Daylight robbery. Tried to order for delivery via the new Inverness Eats App, £8 for Chips, Fried Rice, Curry Sauce, Prawn Crackers and an Irn Bru, and according to the app, theres a £10 delivery charge, not too bad, but a bit pricey. Go through with the order anyway, a few minutes later get a phone call from them saying delivery to where I am (just outside Beauly, but not in the middle of nowhere) would be another £10 and asked if I wanted to continue. Erm...what do you think? If you're going to say you deliver, give the prices properly rather than leaving people in the dark on it. £28 for a small meal for one? Get yourself gone, mun

Can't handle pressure when it gets to the buzy time

1st time I've ordered from them .......Ordered food at 11pm .. still waiting at 1.15am .... Told them to cancel after calling 3 times to find out where our order was .... honestly AVOID this place like the plague ... Cant even get a refund until the following day .... absolute joke !!!!!

Have had food several times from here. Service is usuly quick and friendly. Last time I got chicken curry and there was far too much salt in it. Decided to give it another go tonight and got roast pork chop suey. Again enough salt in one dish to flavour a dozen bags of chips. Doubt if I'll be back.

Este lugar tiene que ser el peor pedido al que se haya llamado por teléfono. Llegó 1 hora tarde. Líquido acuoso flotando en el fondo de la espalda por fideos y frío. El conductor se llevó por teléfono de nuevo y se disculpó. Reemplazará su comida y nos dijeron que le daremos algo gratis. 1 hora y 30 minutos después llega la comida. Adivina qué líquido acuoso flotaba en la parte inferior de la espalda de los fideos y lo gratis era una barra de arroz de aspecto misterioso que se lanzó directamente a la basura junto con el resto de la comida que estaba absolutamente empantanada. Solía ser un gran lugar. Nunca volveré a ordenar desde aquí.

I wont be ordering from here again. Rice is bland and the chicken in garlic chilli sauce is disgusting and not what it used to be. I've ordered from this chinese for over 10 years (I used to live next door!) And it used to be amazing. You cant even taste the garlic anymore. Not impressed. Your food quality has declined rapidly over the last 6-7 months.

Mis amigos y yo fuimos aquí, ya que era la única comida china para llevar que pudimos encontrar al comienzo de nuestro viaje nc 500. Cuando entramos, el lugar olía a gente mayor y estaba horriblemente decorado por dentro. Después de esperar unos 15 minutos a que apareciera un antiguo tonto, finalmente logramos hacer nuestros pedidos. Todo estaba bien hasta que recogí una de mis fichas y tenía una maldita araña muerta atascada dentro. Este lugar debería ser condenado, está absolutamente ladrando.

Pedimos arroz frito con huevo que estaba demasiado seco para comer, las bolas de pollo de mis compañeros estaban pastosas, las patatas fritas estaban secas, lo que nos hizo pensar que estábamos comiendo sobras. Y finalmente pedí 2 rollitos de primavera de vegetales grandes que por teléfono me corrigieron, se llaman panqueques. No pensé nada en eso y cuando llegaron se puede decir por qué cambió el nombre. Masa espesa y no crujiente: (¡también la mía venía con carne y yo soy Veggie! Llamé para quejarme y el supervisor respondió “bueno, ¿qué quieres que haga?” Y me dejó muy avergonzado.NUNCA MÁS.

Very poor quality food. I ordered chilli chicken. It was very old, dried out and totally chewy! The sauce that came with it was thin and watery. My husbands beef dish was fatty and unpleasant. The spring rolls were great though.

Así que después de pasar la mayor parte de la noche desde las 6. 45 hasta las 10 de la noche esperando la comida y resolviendo sus errores terminé sin nada para comer. Una completa pérdida de tiempo y dinero. Nunca los volveré a usar.

Would rather get coronavirus than eat food from here again. Was bland and vile. One of the worst things I’ve put in my mouth.

Delivery arrived late, was cold, watery prawn curry and only a few prawns . Half of the chicken Maryland missing , I’ve asked for a refund , I really wish I read the reviews before ordering . WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN .

Ordered at 7:30, food arrived at 10:30. It was cold and when I phoned to ask for a refund or discount I was told there was nothing they could do. Rude and low quality. Do not eat here

Beautiful food from their new chefs! Very pleased to see some traditional Chinese food in a small town.

Recently ordered a takeaway for delivery. Ordered at 5.25pm on a Thursday evening. Food finally arrived two hours later and was tepid at best. Wouldn’t bother again.
