Skye's The Limit Tearoom in Highland

Arrived and wanting lunch we went here. Mistake!! Looked OK so ordered 2 sandwiches at £5.50 each, 1 tea and 1 decaff latte and a portion of chips. Drinks arrived and we got 2 teas instead of 1 tea and 1 coffee. Said it was wrong and told no that's what you ordered. No offer to replace! Then food arrived. The sandwiches were 2 slices of supermarket bread with processed sliced cheese. Certainly not worth what was charged. Chips were overcooked and only just warm and tasted of old cooking oil. It was edible so just ate and left and won't go back.

Good basic cafe with friendly service. Not much else to say but apparently I have to use 100 characters. Basically worth a try.

Ottimo locale per una pausa prima di prendere il traghetto; il cibo è ottimo: la baked potato è squisita, la Victoria sponge anche. Il caffè è buono per gli standard britannici. Alle ore pasti e vicino alle partenze dei traghetti è molto affollato, ma il servizio è veloce ed efficiente.

Good quality food and great service. This is a hidden gem of a tea room and cafe. The menu is limited but excellent value. We had beef chilli and chips and hot dog and chips and cold drinks for £20. The portions were huge which did prevent us from having cake. The cakes looked gorgeous and some were vegan. We will definitely visit again. Lovely cheerful and friendly people serving.

Ce petit café-snack semi self-service tout simple permet de retrouver des forces sans trop attendre. La courte carte comprend des musts écossais corrects et quelques pâtisseries agréables, servies avec le sourire.

Very nasty staff. very unfriendly and lazy. there is ansolutely NOTHING served. food less than Ok. tables not clean at all. absolutely eco-unfriendly.

This cafe is near the ferry terminal at Uig. Very nice tasting soup and sandwich, but served in paper bowls and dishes, so not at all fancy. Good coffee too. There is very limited seating especially when it's raining so the outdoor seating cannot be used. Order at the counter and they hand you the lunch, no delivery to the table. Pretty basic but that's OK, it's just a quick lunch.
