Costa Drive Thru in Highland

There's nothing better than a Costa Coffee Latte. The McDonalds, especially in Germany, could take an example when it comes to price/performance, where the cup is always full to the brim.

Have visited this particular drive through often as I visit my daughter once a week. Unfortunately every time we go, it takes so long for the drinks to be made. Today we arrived, gave our order. As we pulled up to the window the staff member didn't acknowledge we were there for a few minutes as she was talking to a colleague (not about anything work related) she then made our drinks and gave them to us. We waited for a bit before I had to ask her for our cakes that we had also ordered. Every time we have been here we are waiting at the drive through window for up to 10 minutes. It was not busy at the time we went, through the window hatch we could see the mess of where our drinks were being prepared. Unfortunately and as per usual when we did get our coffees they weren't hot like you'd expect but more of an above average like warm. Usually love going to Costa, however this is by far the least appealing, slowest and unfriendliest Costa i have been too.

A lovely, relaxed, and well-located Costa's. Whether you're staying in one of the nearby hotels or coming down from the Ben via one of the hiking routes down to inverlochy, this Costa's is a short walk away. In terms of menu there's no surprise. I had a toastie and a fruit-cooler as lunch after exploring Fort William during the morning. It was busy but I easily found a seat, and spent another 45 minutes doing some writing in a nice atmosphere, with a bit of nice music and conversation around me, but never too loud.

Very friendly staff on Easter Sunday which made my holiday mood brighter!

I came in for a coffee in the evening. It was meant to be open for another hour, but half the chairs were already on the tables - not very welcoming, but the coffee was good.

The worst Costa, perhaps in whole UK. Dealt by a trainee who made worst drinks possible without a hint of a taste. Hot drinks were cold, cold drink was warmer.

You’re lucky if it’s open and if there’s enough staff to serve you. When there is - they’re lovely

Amazing espresso, drive through service I used , the young lady at 7:30 am of the 21st February 2024 was incredibly smiling, positive and she was so busy but she managed to say Yes sir ill see you on the window Hallo sir when I was at the window Enjoy your day sir when I left What amazing service

Staff seem blissfully ignorant of used cups and trays on nearly every table. Are customers supposed to clear tables themselves?

Very slow at serving customers. At least 5 staff in and only 1 working.No kne st drive though at the time. They all stood about and didn't serve. I was 2nd in queue and had to wait 10 minutes to be served

They closed an hour early on Friday. No notice. Door was just locked….There was still a girl at the register…on her phone…place was dirty and stuff on all the tables, so it was obvious she was no where near being done. Super disappointed….she saw us and just ignored us!

A disappointing stop at this Costa Coffee. The staff were far too busy chatting to one another rather than making an effort to engage with their customers. The shop was dirty with several tables uncleaned.

Good food, and helpful staff. Much more pleasant than the nearby McDonalds.

Poor service, dirty bathrooms, lame food, overpriced. The Chai latte was good though!

Terrible customer service, dirty tables, long wait, had to even ask for a napkin and butter knife, we were going to get a cake but decided not as there were fly’s on the cakes, pointed this out to a staff member who basically took no notice. (Saturday around 11.30) Will definitely not be going back anytime soon. Gone very downhill.

Coffee was good, the tables were cluttered when we were there, customers had previously had to stack trays to make room, one staff appeared to be doing some training on the laptop (not sure if he could have been asked to just clear the tables), and though the drinks were good, the lack of co-ordination to have the tables cleared and cleaned let it down on this occasion.

We placed a very large and complicated order for our group , jenny was our barista and she was so lovely and polite and got the order completely correct and was very quick too , everything was excellent ......

Popped in a few times this week but had to sit outside with the pooch. Luckily nice weather, can't understand why you can't take the dog inside. Also can't understand why Costa closed their shop on Fort William High Street.

When they say "large coffee," they're not kidding. The cup was the size of a soup bowl. Good coffee, too.

I’m on a busy Saturday, 11:00am. Queue right up to the exit door! Great cuppa, Staff were all brilliant, got served quickly no complaints ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Einmal und nie wieder. Die Bedienung verschüttete Milch auf der Theke beim Umfüllen in den Milchaufschäumer. Doch anstelle diese aufzuwischen, wurde die Milch mit einem Tuch nach unten auf dem Boden befördert. Dort waren mehrere, schon getrocknete, Milchflecken zu sehen. Ein Kollege kam dazu und nahm dann, zum Reinigen der Düse am Milchauschäumer, einen benutzten schmutzigen Lappen. Sauberkeit sieht anders aus. Das gesamte Cafe war ungepflegt und über den Zustand der Toiletten möchte ich lieber nicht sprechen.

I made an order for oat filter coffee. What I got was Americo in cow's milk... just disappointment

Dieser Costa ist mit Abstand der schlechteste. Dreckig, auf dem Klo funktionieren die Trockner nicht, es sieht schmuddelig aus. Die Bedienung ist sehr langsam, braucht eine Ewigkeit für einen Kaffee. Die Mitarbeiter sind wenig motiviert. es wird mit Sicherheit nicht gekehrt, oder der Müll entsorgt, geschweige denn , gewischt. Und das Büro befindet sich auf einem Gäste Tisch.

Lovely little coffee shop in the heart of Fort William, truely enjoyed my time here. Staff were friendly and there was alot of drinks on offer at the time i was there. The shop is very modern and has some unique design features that set it aside from other Costa Coffees. Not only this, it has a great window view to the mountains and hiking paths surrounding Ben Nevis. Great place, 100% suggest people visit if ever in Fort William, even if just for a quick snack/drink

Worst Costa I've visited. Staff slow and impolite. Manager on site doing nothing to train these staff. Food usual standard as its all premade etc but it took absolutely ages to do 2 wraps.

It's Costa coffee, perfect every time.

Average chain franchise coffee. There are other local coffees that taste much better, but this had a drive thru and we just needed the caffeine.

The Wiltshire cheese and ham toastie tasted great. The ham was not salty and slightly moist, just right. The cheese had the right level of flavour.

Lijkt qua dienst op de Starbucks, maar een stuk minder professioneel. Weinig servicegericht personeel. Inrichting is wel gezellig, maar het was binnen ontzettend vies. Geen enkele schone tafel te vinden en ook stoelen niet schoon. Koffie was overigens prima.

Served by former Speed Skating star Wilf O'Reilly.... what are the chances!!! He talked at length about Calgary '88 which did become painful as he used the seating area as his rink with skillfully placed cups as the course. The naked Mannequin remains an unexplained element of his routine, best not to ask. Hot chocolate was fine.

Just a normal Costa but has parking which is tricky for other places in the town. Staff proficient anyway.

One of the best Costa Coffee paces we have visited in Scotland. The owners and staff were amazing. The bucket of coffee we got was great and the layout and view were on point. Well done.

We visited the costa coffee near fort William. Perfect drive way option or a nice place to visit while you are on a long drive. We stopped here Enroute our journey to Oban. We had the Soup, sausage burgers, donuts and cheese toast from here. It was filling for a family 5. Staff are friendly. They can keep the restrooms clean. Overall a great place.

Horrible service as they wanted to close the shop at 4 when the timing is 4:30 Made capuccino without choc sprinkles and forgot to add syrup. Need someone to take it seriously and deliver what costa is known for and not dissatisfied customers

Not clean at all. Poor hygene throughout. Marshmellows for hot chocolate looked weeks old and tasted it. Seats thread bare and stained. Food all over floor, cutlery disgusting. Poor standard, will not be back. Look elsewhere if you value cleanliness and quality

Absolutely worst experience!! It's a shame I have to give even 1 star to this place. We just stop by to have a coffee break and it turned into horror. we reached at 4:05 pm and it looked they were already closed as it was not welcoming at all and when I told the girl that its not how you make a soy vanilla capuchino, she referred "well this is how we make it in costa" as if am from a different planet and no COSTA exsists there..shocking!!. I could sense a bit of vibe that we are outsiders or tourists who do not know how to make a cup of coffee. Disgusting

I don’t normally leave a comment about a place but felt I should have. I don’t go to this Costa Coffee often but went to see a friend for coffee due to it being a lovely day. This visit was on 23 August 2021 at 11:23 am. Good and quick service. Iced mocha was average but needs to have more coffee in it as I could barely taste it in the drink. Track and trace id numbers not very clear. However this is where your company comes up short is I wasn’t able to use the toilet due to a man who was not in a Costa Coffee uniform being in the ladies toilet possibility doing maintenance who said something to me which I could not understand due not being able to hear what he said due his mumbling. I wouldn’t have been in had I known work or something was going on I hadn’t have gone in. Put a sign up on toilets to say that you are doing maintenance or out of order due work being done to toilets, this would save the awkwardness of your man and customers. Put track and trace id numbers outside before entering and encourage staff to show customers where the id numbers are inside. Maybe even use bright font colours for your id numbers, laminate the sheets of paper then blu tack the laminated sheets with the id numbers to your table. This would help everyone with track and trace id number being clear and visible to all of customers.

Absolutely fine…..service was a little slower than I might have liked but it wasn’t the worst thing in the world. Plus you can see the Jacobite steamer from the car park.

This place felt a wee bit cramped for me.A small-ish place with not that many seats compared to most I've been in. They do serve a good variety of Coffee's,but most at a price that I would rate a bit high (I prefer McDonals Coffee,and it'sa lot cheaper.Costa's Bacon Bap (£3)seems a bit pricey too.

Great coffee as usual! We asked for 2 hot chocolates to be split between 4 cups for our kids but they then informed us that you could get little mini kids hot chocolates with marshmallows! Absolutely amazing!

Not really Friendly , no croissants no toast , when I ask for it they answer NO came with some kind of satisfaction , waited for ages of my MC chess . Don't think to go back there soon.
