£7 for flavoured rice. Half full portions at that. No tandoori oven used, therefore lack of flavour, naan breads in pizza oven, This also means chicken tikka isn't as flavoursome as it could be. But even this used to be fried with onions and fresh coriander. Nowadays, it's microwaved. Nothing on the menu is cheap, so you'd expect quality. Unfortunately nothing that we purchased value for money. Prices now so high it's extortionate, with cost saving evident in every dish. Avoid.

My family and I had the the miss fortune to eat a meal from this once reputable takeaway and were majorly disappointed. One of the poorest, tasteless curries we have ever had. Supermarkets do better curries and for a lot less money. The chicken was cooked ok, but it would seem the chef forgot to add the appropriate seasoning to the curries we had ordered. The Nan breads from this establishment are not proper breads cooked in a clay oven; but rather mediocre pitta bread offerings from a pizza oven. This place is NOT a Curry House, more like a fast food master of none. Go elsewhere if you are looking for a proper tasty curry.

Prawn starter was good but the rest was terrible. Both curry dishes were tasteless and ended up in the bin. A jar of uncle bens would have been tastier and a fraction of the price, the currys looked like they were pre made a couple months ago and frozen into their containers before the chef called ping heated it up. The rice was below average quality along with the chips that had shrivelled up and went stale. I will never return to this place.

Big mistake getting from here rather than our local place. Chicken Korma and tikka were tasteless. Both the nan breads were so dry they were brittle, might have been fresh a week ago but past it by the time they were sold to us. Lesson learned, will give it a miss next time.

Dreadful, chicken tikka came with a little tub of yellow sauce which was horrible and weird. More like a sauce you would dip pakora in, not what would come with a main course. Chicken was dry as a bone, salad was a very small tub of lettuce?? Pilau rice was dry as were the nans...would not recommend... Worse I've ever had.

Enjoyed a Sunset for an alternative Xmas meal I 2020. Our takeaway was tasty as always & we thoroughly enjoyed it. We enjoyed it so much on New Year's Day we had another takeaway. Best Indian takeaway in area & never let down by Sunset. Staff friendly & welcoming.

The owner is one of the nicest people I've met, made me feel so welcome. I would 100% recommend Sunset to anyone I know in that area! I wish they were on the Just Eat app as it would make my life easier, as would others. One combination I would push anyone to try is their Chips, cheese and Chilli sauce, absolutely unreal

Up in Keith on business and too late for the hotel restaurant I had a takeaway in my room. Friendly very quick service and supplied a plate/cutlery on request. The food was amazing. I love Indian food and this was by far the best I have had in a long time. Really tasty with big portions. Just wish they could deliver to Aberdeen!

The food was terrible and too salty. The chicken tasted awful and rubbery and there was a strange sour smell from the food. Definitely won't be back.

It has to be Sunset for a freshly made take out. Nice serve and awesome curries. Plenty of choice and always packed with meat.

We always order from sunset if we are getting an Indian take away. I have had take aways from other Indian restaurants but I like the food at sunset better. Service is prompt and staff are friendly

I must prefix this review by saying that we don't have Indian meals on a regular basis, but when I do use the Sunset I find the meals very good. The portions are generous, with very good flavours and the staff are very courteous.

After a long day my husband and myself decided to reward ourselves with a take away. After trying the other indian take away in the town we decided to try Sunset. This was a mistake. I ordered the ghurkah vegetable paneer. Instead I got an insipid sweet dish with grated cheese on the top. I tried it didn't want to continue eating it so my husband decided to take it back to the restaurant. On arrival he explained the problem and that he would like sag aloo as a replacement dish. The staff did not take kindly to this and explained that this was paneer and this is how they serve it. Never in my life have I been served what resembled grated mozzarella in place of Indian cottage cheese. Will be sticking with Bengal spice in future.

Table of 8 and not a single dish was less than excellent. Starters were delicious, mains were too. Chicken tikka balti, chasni and garlic chilli were superb. Naan breads were probably the best I've had... Nice and crisp and not doughy at all. Thanks folks...
