Shabaz Tandoori in Moray

We were looking for a curry carry out in Buckie. We were not sure where to go. The Shabaz Tandoori was the first establishment serving carry out curries we came across. We were not disappointed!!! We ordered two curries a garlic naan and pilau rice. Everything we ordered was delicious. Thank you to all staff who prepared such delicious food.

Worst Indian takeaway EVER that was not a korma they served but a tasteless gloop.. everything but the poppadoms spiced onions and nan bread was bad..save yourself

Director went out of his way to assist with my needs. Amazing staff and amazing food. The chicken pakora is always sensational!

I ordered from this restaurant via Justeat App. I ordered a 500ml Coca-Cola and a Garlic Naan Bread and within a few mins of ordering I received a message saying it was ready to be collected. Very Fast Service and it was my 1st time using the restaurant.

Chicken Korma. Definitely not what anyone would call a Korma. If you have ever seen the contents of a new born baby's nappy then that's about what you get here. Smell was vile and tasted worst. This place used to serve reasonable priced meals and full of flavour. Haven't been for a couple of years, but will never go back. Garlic naan was chewy, burnt and I think they just showed the garlic to the bread as it had no taste. Very expensive meal that the local council waste department took care off.... Unfortunately I have to give a rating to post. Minus ratings would be better.....

Horrible pizza. Not even pizzas. Horrible stinking management attitude as well. I was asking for extra pizza sauce. That was a great time to tell me made with kebab sauce but nooooooo. Got the pizza home we tried a couple slices. It was absolutely awful. My niece even spat hers back out. Got refunded with some attitude too. Needless to say will not be back. A bit of kindness would t go a miss and honestly tell me what the sauce is when I ask for extra and if never ordered in the first place.

The pakora and onion bhaji ended up in the bin. Dry and horrible. Called to complain was told the food had to be handed back. Difficult as it was in the bin. Person on the phone was rude. NEVER AGAIN.

Never again in a month of sundays will i eat here 4 hours in hospital last night with severe gastroentinitis all after eating at shabhaz

Had a takeaway from here- cheese naan, chicken and vegetable pakora, rice, chicken tikka masala and chicken korma and juice. Will not be going back. Chicken pakora And vegetable pakora and naan stone cold. Was really thick and gooey. This was a birthday meal, was a waste of money so won’t be returning which is a shame.

I love this place. The naans are huge, as are the portions for every dish. I would say that they're not afraid to make the curries spicy either, so be sure to order extra mild if you don't like the heat. Everything is made really quickly too.

Quite disappointed, high priced but only poor taste. Of four dishes only one was OK. Will not come again.

The cottage we are staying in had a variety of takeaway menus. Shabaz had just what we were looking for. Plenty of food for the family. Everyone enjoyed. There was plenty of chicken and sauce in the main dishes. Pakora portions were a good size. Would recommend.

What a fantastic meal we have just had, huge portions and I mean huge!! Great value for money, lovely food, if I'd have know how large the portions were we would have shared. We are from yroskshire, and I wish this was near us!! Fabulous a must try

Just dropped in. All the restaurants I was planning on visiting in Buckie were closed. All ingredients fresh. Garam Masala. The only reservation was there was no-one in the shop when I want in. I'm sure this was because it was a public holiday, but still. Otherwise, good takeout, reasonable price. No problem.

We found Shabaz by accident while on holiday. We couldn't be bothered cooking and didn't want to sit in anywhere. We just fancied something spicy and tasty to eat at our holiday cottage. We picked up a menu and ordered and the food was lovely. The establishment was really clean, the food was as described, there was loads of it and it was really tasty. Highly recommended
