The pizzas are definitely the tastiest around and with totally delicious vegan options, too, Friendly staff and good service, too. A credit to the High Street.

Popped in for an impromptu meal after an unscheduled visit at Grays Hospital on a quiet Tuesday 7pm ish Delicious food, the Boss had Cannelloni and I had Chilli Nachos. Very decent portions and service was excellent. Thanks

Elgin is lucky to have this place. Great food, great prices, and our waitress couldn't have been better. The waitress that was rushing around needlessly, however, is a problem. I was walking to my table, and she was all but running behind me, so I stepped to the side. There was a woman quietly breastfeeding at a table near the back, and she proceeded to aggressively rearrange the chairs at her table and speak to her about it. It could've waited. She would go on to spill a drink on a girl at another table, who then left to go home and change. Annoying, to say the least. I feel bad for those that have to work with her.

It is a perfect place to go out with the family. very nice service. The best pizza we've ever eaten. pizza size is very satisfactory. very good cocktails. Totally recommend 👌

Had a good night here with our family but was left very disappointed with the price hike, unfortunately the menu prices online are not up to date although there is a notice advising that they are in the process of updating this which really isn't good enough especially with the cost of living. You are looking at the prices online and working out roughly how much you will be only to find that it's way more eg £4.75 increase on a classic chicken burger which seems extreme. I'm not looking to damage a local business this is purely my opinion, I couldn't recommend.

Excellent food and service at a very good price

Yes it's good, risotto was awesome, lasagna coild do with some work, but wpild certainly return!

The service was good in terms of friendliness and “speed”, but I’m afraid that the food was subpar. I ordered the Pollo Cellentini and it was very bland. The sauce tasted and looked like it had the consistency of store bought sauce. The chicken breast stripes were very unseasoned and couldn’t eat them. My boyfriend had the margarita pizza and it was just a normal pizza, nothing special.

Have come here for lunch and dinner many times, food is always great. I always get the cannelloni, which is delicious, a big portion and very reasonably priced. Sides are tasty, drinks are always nice and the place is always super cosy. Staff are lovely and attentive. Had a mix up last time and the manager was very apologetic and took care of it quickly. Super packed all the time tho, so need to book!

Much better than my previous experience. Tasty and reasonably priced food in big portions. Pizzas are tasty; If with a softer base than which I would normally choose. The chicken was a little hard, but that could be down to it being pre-cooked before being a pizza topping. Salt and Chilli fries were great! Deserts good! Staff very friendly and helpful.

Booked a table so no problems there even though it was very busy. We had been booked on a table down a few steps which was not suitable for one of our party's accessibility needs but was promptly reallocated another table. Exceptional friendly service throughout. Ordered a duck pizza and there was duck all meat on it. Other people's food was about the same, manager was nice and reduced the cost of bill but the food was a bit disappointing.

The food was very poor. The pizza’s were stodgy with virtually no topping, everything else was tasteless. Apparently the chef who earned the good reviews has left so the standard has plummeted. A complete waste of money and a huge disappointment when we are just visiting for the evening. Toilets were also grubby to say the least.

Pizza was like stodge. Couldn’t eat it. Tasteless. A real disappointment. Practically no duck on the duck pizza. I would never go again.

Absolutely loved this place. Went for lunch with friends and my daughter for her birthday. Everything was perfect for us. We weren't too close to any one for her anxiety, we were seated near to the door and when opened it let in a cold draught, not their fault it was people coming in and leaving both door open. The food Is made fresh and have to wait but so very much worth it. Would give them 100% we will be back and recommend

As bland and uninspiring as a Simon Cowell Christmas hit! I chose the chicken and bacon pasta in a 4 cheese sauce. I think the first two cheeses were the cheese from tinned macaroni cheese and the other 2 were water. Gave it a mix and added some pepper which made not much difference so asked for some Parmesan to try to give it some taste and they said no problem but there was a problem as it never appeared. Garlic bread was the highlight You can always tell a good meal when there's a trip to Aldi on the way home to fill up on taste!

Quick tasty food, friendly service£ we had calzone and burgers. No problem asking for a change- I recommend garlic mushroom and cheese on the vegan burger and truffle and parmesan chips.

Lovely restaurant. I would recommend booking for lunch as it does get very busy some days although I have never had to wait too long for a table. Tables are nicely spaced out which makes a nice change. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Service good. Great selection of cakes and pastries which you can take away. Very clean and comfortable. Some very good value dishes such as the pizza platter. Definitely worth a visit.

Just arrived in Elgin after a long day travelling. Fancied a pizza and wasn't disappointed. Lots of topping and well cooked. Great Americano as well.

Recently dinned at scribbles, have done many times over the past few years but this latest experience has got to be the worst, my pasta carbonara was nothing but a plate of greasy spaghetti that didn’t resemble a carbonara in the slightest, I also ordered a bottle of water, I specifically stated could I have a bottle of still water as most places give you tap water and I sure at sh.t ain’t drinking that poison, I knew as soon as I saw the glass it wasn’t bottled water it was straight from the tap with ice cubes and a slice of lemon, the smell of cleaning detergent from the glass as well as chlorine from the water and the thought of allowing that fluoride filled junk into my system was enough for me just to leave it and go without. My partners macaroni was ok but the garlic bread was just heated in a micro as no colour to it and still doughy, don’t think il bother going back but if I end up outvoted il stick to a pizza, surly can’t get that wrong but they sure can’t get pasta dishes right! Also a lot of tea should be hot I think that was maybe hot tap water as it defo wasn’t boiling water!

Come here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed by the quality of food or the staff. All food is reasonably priced and certainly in line with other eateries.

Great food, service and excellent value. Very busy even on a Tuesday night which shows how good this place is. Lots of choice on the menu (both food and drink).

We stopped here for lunch. Our group of seven was seated quickly and the waiter was a polite and friendly young man. We ordered a few pizzas to try some different versions they had available and both were excellent! I’d definitely recommend this place to those visiting nearby

Called before 9am on Father's day expecting to be fully booked but was greeted by a friendly chap who happily booked me in. After finishing work late myself we ended up 20 minutes late for our reservation and still our table by the window was available. Amazed on a busy father's day and appreciated they'd kept our table! Our initial waitress had short dark brown hair and was absolutely lovely, had a few other staff afterwards delivering drinks and giving a checkback and all were fab. I usually go for a jackfruit BBQ pizza but chose the cannelloni this time and wow, it was great. Growing up in an Italian family I couldn't fault it, even the portion size was perfect. Piping hot and really filled me up. I had the mocktail (first on the list, always forget the name) and it's delicious every time. We'd ordered a side salad which didn't come but the sides of coleslaw and chips were absolutely massive so really it worked out perfectly. Staff were super polite over this tiny mishap, to be honest the salad was us just trying to behave ourselves! A really, really special treat for us given my dad had traveled over 100 miles to see us and the staff just made it such a lovely evening after an exhausting day. I always send tourists to Scribbles when they ask for local eateries and will continue to do so. Some staff during our visit seemed new and I wish them all the best!

Lovely welcoming staff, who went the extra mile to be helpful and professional. Food was excellent, tasty and good quality. Had read a couple of negative reviews but can only assume they were posted by jealous competitors. I have nothing to gain by being anything but honest....it was excellent.

We came here for a meal with friends. Our starters took a little while to come out but it was pretty busy. Our mains came out and the food wasn’t the greatest. My husbands meat feast calzone pizza only had salami in it and no other meat at all. Not exactly a meat feast. He also said it as very salty. Two of us had chilli beef nachos which were like cardboard. After our main we sat for over half an hour before anyone came to ask if we were finished and clear our plates. We were going to have dessert but the selection wasn’t the best so we decided to give it a miss. They seemed to be concentrating more on their takeaway orders rather than their customers sitting in. We were also pretty shocked that they bought in their pizza bases and didn’t make them. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back.

The service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble when we asked them. The food was very good and bearing in mind there was 8 of us everything was right with no problems whatsoever. Excellent value for money too. We all had a very enjoyable evening and will definitely go again.

I had two lovely meals in scribbles the vegan pizza was lovely! My work colleague ate here and twice was very very disappointed l. He had a chicken which was soggy and made up of supermarket ingredients, it even looked terrible and he didn't even eat it, bacon pieces were all fat soggy.Service is a bit slow, hence my rating.

On visiting Elgin we checked out trip advisor for a decent place to eat having just walked out of the pancake place in disgust . This place has Lovely staff, excellent food and very covid safe. What a treat to have a home made pizza done properly. Yum. Home made cakes looked delicious too. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic as always! We ordered a takeaway delivery from Scribbles tonight and it was amazing! When I called I spoke with Faith who was so helpful and nothing could be too much bother, I ordered for our group haggis bites, a variety of freshly made pizzas which were all generously topped and a macaroni cheese which was delicious! All delivered very quickly despite a busy Saturday night and all piping hot! Thanks so much Team Scribbles - we will be back again!

Scribbles is a centrally located restaurant on Elgin High Street.There is an extensive menu with an emphasis on Italian cuisine. Also a lovely range of cakes and hot drinks for those who fancy a cuppa and a wee snack.Service was quick and friendly, prices were reasonable and all covid regulations were adhered to.We enjoyed our visit to Scribbles and will be returning soon.Recommended
