Seated where the shop used to be. Very uncomfortable with window ledge sticking into my back. Not a great start. Service slow. Its a shame as the food was really good.
The cafe is off the main roads but it’s well worth the stop. The seafood is divine, one can taste the freshness. The staff is excellent. They go out of their way to accommodate weary travelers.
Great experience , 12 people and 3 dogs , the staff and owners couldn't do anymore to accommodate us at very short notice .
Fantastic decor throughout , very clean and tidy .
The haddock was absolutely delicious and a good size serving.
The owner gave us some history about the 1864 which was very interesting.
Would definitely eat here agin and highly recommend.
Never received our cakes with our coffees, had to chase staff half way though drinks. When food still did not appear after drinks cold or consumed, left paying just for the drinks. 45 mins to get it right, failed at every turn.
Food looks nice, all the right suppliers, shame I didn't get to try any of it...
Great place for a fish supper 9 times out of 10 although I genuinely landed a haddock supper tonight and it wasnt actually haddock 😂 suppose some other white fish occasionally end up in the net and get through.
Sólo vine a tomar un café y una tetera. Gran variedad de pasteles, rodajas y piedras para elegir. Un montón de asientos agradables. Justo en el muelle, que es interesante también. Menos de £ 8 para un café, té y bandeja de hornear. Personal agradable, amable y conversador.
Muy recomendable
We really enjoyed our visit to Chilli Masala. The service was first class, the food was excellent. Very fresh, clean, tasty and plentiful. It was a real pleasure to eat here. Wish we lived nearer. Would definitely visit again when back in the area. This restaurant is first class, with great food and very friendly staff....oh and very reasonably priced too.If you're looking for Indian good in Dingwall then go here as you will not be disappointed.
I was travelling Scotland & it's islands for months & in Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides, (between travelling the islands of Harris and Lewis & North & South Uist & Eriskay) I met a man who highly recommended that when in Inverness, Hootenanny is pretty much a must try experience for Scottish music and dancing so after that when I was visiting in Inverness for sometime, I did go in there on a Friday night & then subsequently as a result, Saturday + more nights in June & July & met some very friendly local folk who who embraced me into their lives & added massively to the rest of my tour of Inverness, Loch Ness, Mount Ben Nevis, Fort William, Fort Augustus, Glen Coe, Applecross, Tomintoul, Aviemore, the Cairngorms, Cullen, ... the whole of Scotland, the NC North Coast 500 miles route, Beauly, Bora, Wick, John O'Groats, Thurso, Orkney and the Shetland Islands, Lairg, Durness, Scourie, Ardvreck Castle, Achiltibuie & The Summer Isles + more of its islands of Mull, Tobermory, Iona, Staffa, Isle of Aran, Oban, Mull of Kintyre, Cambletown, Loch Lomond, Dumbarton, Glasgow, Paisley, Moffat, ... making more rich & magnificent memories. Thanks to all
