Amazing! I visit family every year and began to avoid the cafe BUT thank goodness! New management! Fabulous home cooked food, lovely welcoming atmosphere, luxury freshly baked Victoria sponge, and I took away a home cooked roast tomato and red pepper soup for my trip up to Glen Affric! Definitely back on the list as a yearly visit, well done!

What has happened to this place? It used to be a favourite place to visit. You used to be guaranteed a warm welcome and some great food. My last couple of visits have ended up being served by a rather rude lady who clearly has no time for her customers. I was behind a couple who were 1/2 way through ordering some food when I heard the woman say to them actually I’m not going to do any more sandwiches as the bread is frozen and I’m not defrosting anymore. They left with nothing. Before this place had an array of hot dishes from burgers to toasties to sandwiches. Now it’s just cold sandwiches and soup and they clearly use frozen bread as I could clearly tell the couple. Before you ended up chatting with a lovely local woman called Joyce. Now you’re either 1/2 ignored or indeed spoken to rudely. It’s a shame as it was a lovely spot but now everyone in Tomich seems to have changed for the worst. I doubt I will ever set foot in the place again unless it changes hands. Hospitality is about being friendly and hospitable. The lady was neither.

What a super cafe located in a beautiful part of the Scottish Highlands. Travelling with friends on a motorcycling day out, and as it was past lunch time, all were gasping for a drink and some food. We stopped and asked a local about nearby cafes. We were directed to the Coach House cafe. What a hidden gem of a cafe! All the snacks and cakes are home made and totally delicious. It's only a short drive/ride to the stunning Glen Affric so visit the cafe before or after visiting the Glenn.

I might be a bit bias here but what a fabulous little cafe this is. Anyone who hasn’t visited Tomich yet, why not !! It’s the most beautiful little village surrounded by countryside and views you simply can’t describe in a review online as words won’t do it justice. Now the village has the coach house cafe, staff were very warm and welcoming and are a font of local knowledge for the first time visitors amongst you. My wife and I on the other hand have been coming here with our kids for almost 30yrs (now our grandchildren are coming to the area as well) the cafe is cosy, warm and well stocked with home baked goodies which taste so much better than anything you would buy off a supermarket shelf. You can’t miss it, it’s in the old post office opposite the local pub. Local crafts are also on sale inside the cafe. Can’t rate this establishment highly enough. I would suggest you get your walk or sight seeing trip to the Plodda falls out of the way first as when you sit down to enjoy your slice of homemade cake and a hot cuppa, you won’t want to leave (and that’s the beauty of this place, they won’t hurry you up to leave like some cafes make you) Well done to all the staff who work there and making this Tomich’s ‘jewel in the crown’

There are about 6 or 7 tables so it can get very cosy very quickly. We decided to try the venison burger and were not disappointed. It was really tasty in a bun with side salad garnish too. with that we went for the local beer the Malty one! that was also very nice. The Cafe had a bathroom which was suitable for baby changing, for disabled, and was totally clean and presentable.
