Cocoa Skye in Highland

Stopped by after a walk in brisk weather last spring to warm up with a mug of what I'd been told was the best hot chocolate. It definitely didn't disappoint, decadently delicious. Sampled a few of the chocolates and they were all excellent as well. Looking forward to stopping in during my next visit in Brora

Lovely place great service and awesome food well worth a visit

I popped in and bought some of their handmade chocolates. They looked delicious. Not a huge range of flavours but I bought a selection of 12 for my mum's birthday and a few for myself. Reasonably priced There were however massive pieces of delicious cake on the counter that I managed to resist as we were travelling through. Next time we pop by I will be buying cake as it looked amazing.

Simply the best latte we have had during our two weeks in Scotland. The scones were to die for. And the staff was super nice and chatty. I wish we could find places like that everyday for our morning coffees!!! Absolutely fab

We had cake and milkshakes. OMG! 😍. The Victoria sponge was perfect and the milkshakes were rich and creamy, served in a glass with thick paper straws. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend for a treat or to meet up with a friend.

A simple but excellent spot for some coffee and something sweet. Staff was really helpful and friendly. The coffee was a lot better than many other places in the area. The biscoff waffles with ice cream was really good, and so were the scones. Just an excellent spot to sit down after a long walk on the beach.

The food was fine just took 45 mins and had to remind them - think they forgot our food order!

The cafe was incredibly busy on a Sunday morning with a great mixture of locals and visitors. They are dog friendly. We had coffee and cake. The chocolate cake was rich, moist but not overly sweet - delicious! However the Churro cake was the hero absolutely sublime!! We also bought some handmade chocolates equally delicious.

Well what an absolute treat of a place. Lovely staff, great coffee and the churro cake was the best cake we've ever had. It will now be our stop on our way to and from Orkney. Thanks you

After a hike on the beach we stopped here to eat. It was excellent! Had cake, cafe latte, sandwiches and a waffle. Everything was really delicious and prepared with attention to detail. Highly recommend this cafe if you're in the area!

Delicious coffee, lovely salad bowl. Good choice of sandwiches in nice chunky bread, including imaginative vegan choices. The cakes, bakes and homemade chocs are always worth going for 😋 All served with a smile.

Light, airy space with a lovely atmosphere. Best flat white we’ve had on our trip so far, better than Inverness even. Scones freshly baked on the day. Waffles simple but scrummy. And walker friendly! Would definitely recommend!

Had been looking for a decent coffee and cake cycle stop for a while up here and ended up at Cocoa on a rainy Saturday. Staff were incredibly friendly and provided a top tier service. Cake was outstanding and so was the milkshake. The food being delivered to other tables looked amazing too, so I'm looking froward to coming back. Unfortunately for my taste, they are using Inverness Roasting Co for the coffees and I personally can't stand the stuff. I see the reviews on coffee are positive, so I understand this is personal preference. Alternative Roasters are Hinba or Glen Lyon, but if it ain't broke, crack on.

Lovely cafe with great sandwiches (all can be made toasties), waffles, and soups. Service was friendly and efficient, despite the place being extremely busy. A great place to stop for lunch before driving north.

We went here as a party of 3adults .It was a Tuesday about 2pm .We are on holiday in Dornoch and was assured we would like it here by friends who visited in April.The decor is fresh and bright comfy chairs .It was buzy and short staffed .We all choose the BLT toasted on brown bread with tomatoes and maple syrup.We had 3teas the BLT delicious.They had a lovely assortment of cakes .2had a Victoria sponge ,and chees scone .Also A delicious milk shake ,and a Carmel hot chocolate .Both I am told very delicious.The staff service excellent .Oh and we had 2 Victoria sponge as Takeout .We all enjoyed our food f we happen to be in the area we would return .Thank you for making our visit very special and memorable

Service was very very poor, had to wait 25mins to get a coffee and two bits of cake and another 10 minutes to be told that they couldn’t make own second drink (ice mocha as she didn’t know how to make it!!) After waiting 40minutes we walked out!! 😩 Staff seemed not to be trained and two ladies (public) got up for there tables and started to help them!! What a shame as we pass here every week and have never stop here before…. We will NOT be coming back!!!

This cafe is absolutely amazing. I came here with my family of 7 and we ordered a variety of different meals, milkshakes, iced lattes, sandwiches, soup and waffles. Everything was very delicious. We also brought two dogs with us and they were very accepting of our doggies.

Coffee and sandwiches were amazing, we had the prosciutto and cheese toastie and the chicken chipotle sandwich with almond lattes. The bread was amazing and very fresh and the coffee is to die for

Very cute! The atmosphere is wonderful! The waffles are huge! Had 2 halves to share with my partner and one would have been enough! The hot chocolate is to die for! super thick and creamy! Must visit!

It's difficult to rate a cafe at 10h00 on a cold Thursday morning in February but after a dog walk in the dunes and waiting for a car repair we found just the place to satisfy all our requirements: a friendly welcome in pleasing surroundings, a breakfast choice extraordinary for the region and date and food which exceeded expectations. We had cappuccinos plus bacon and egg sandwiches: great eggs (2) cooked to perfection, proper bacon rashers and thick cut multiseed bread. Puts to shame the limited offerings elsewhere: we will return

Despite being dangerously close to closing time they still rustled up a tasty toasty, let me have a cake and made a delicious coffee and didn't rush me out at closing time. I am not advising you do this yourselves but just saying how nice the cafe was to let me chill out when they had the rights to chuck me out. Star stop when passing through Brora I'd say.

Lovely cafe with amazing cake, coffee and one of the best Caramel hot chocolates I've ever had! Would definitely recommend a stop here if you're doing the NC500 to support the local community, 2 drinks and a slice of cake was £12.

Went for lunch with daughter and her fiance. Soup was lovely and they had various options for dietary needs. Good food at reasonable price always go in when we're up. Needs.

Finishing off the NC500 and called in here for a Latte and Walnut/Coffee cake. Lovely place, clean, with polite staff, and good cake/coffee. Hard stand parking outside for motorcycles too.

Had our lunch there, food was good, and service was very good.

I accidentally walked in once expecting nothing and today I find myself considering driving up from Inverness just to visit this cafe. Excellent coffee served in beautiful mugs and waffles with plenty of toppings on them... compared to some places where you get one berry and sad puff of whipped cream on the side. Great value for the money, keep it up!

C'était délicieux. Quel bon moment de détente sur la route 500. On rêvait par temps pluvieux et venteux de trouver de quoi nous réchauffer. Les gaufres sont excellentes et bien hautes. Le Milk shake Nutella délicieux d'après les enfants et mon mocha c'était 1 vrai mocha. Parfait.

A nice wee stop-off on our way from Caithness to Glasgow. Excellent hand made chocolates, good coffee and kind service. You can buy an assorted set of chocolates to take away too.

Good (strong!) coffee, fresh cakes. Light, spacious and airy. Dogs are made welcome.

I have tasted many many many scones on my 16 days here in Scotland and the cheese scones here were the absolute best I have tried. So worth it! Go here, get amazing scones!

Visited in June on the back of hearing a rumour that it has the best hot chocolate you'll have ever tasted . . . It was, simply delicious - definitely worth 20 minutes of anyones time if passing. Great space, lovely staff and very morish treats.
