Seated where the shop used to be. Very uncomfortable with window ledge sticking into my back. Not a great start. Service slow. Its a shame as the food was really good.

An excellent meal in a great setting

We was doing an 8 day Lejog and turned up at 8:30 and the cafe did not open till 10 we was very lucky as the owner was just outside getting something from his car he then said do you just need a coffee lads we was all that would be amazing the kindness and hospitality was second to none if I could give more stars I would just want to say a massive thank you 🙏

really great local cafe with a great view of the firth. We've eaten breakfast and lunch here a number of times and never been disappointed. Their full Scottish breakfast and a cup of coffee will fill you up until tomorrow! Friendly staff members and always pleasant and professional. Really recommend that you come and give them a try, come and experience their Scottish hospitality if you're out for the North Coast 500

Can’t fault the place. The only downside is that we don’t live close enough to visit more often! Stunning location, fantastic staff, and the food was an absolute 10/10. A real gem.

Came here for lunch today with my partner we both really enjoyed our visit to the cafe. The food was amazing, home made, fresh and delicious! Staff were so friendly and coffee and cake for the way home were also delicious. Will definitely be back again :)

Arrived to find a virtually empty restaurant and was then told to go outside and sit in the rain as we didn’t have a reservation. We sat there for 10 minutes clutching our menus in wet hands and then left. Will not return.

Absolutely disgusted by the service! It was a lovely day and quite a few tables left. We were promptly seated and then a few other tables were seated after us, and it became very busy. Every other table has their orders taken before us. When the waitress came around to serving us there was no apology for the delay. We wanted a quick lunch and didn't want to put too much pressure on the kitchen as they would be trying to prepare meals for the other tables as well. So we ordered 2 bacon rolls, a coffee and a glass of water. We waited a FULL 30 MINUTES to get out very simple no frills lunch. We even thought about walking out because it seemed we were never going to get our food. Eventually it arrived, again, no apology and the staff were just rude. She walked away before we even had time to ask for tomato sauce and she never even asked. I then paid and received no apology, she just asked if the food was ok. I have been several times before and I found the staff rude but the food always has been decent. I SHALL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN.

Beautiful and fresh breakfast with stunning views!

It says it was dog friendly but except for a little off room with hard flooring. The staff were far from friendly I asked for water bowl staff grumpy and said one outside. That was empty tried to get them to fill it up but refused saying I had to fill it in the toilets. The female toilet tap was a mere dribble. Decided the staff attitude did not deserve our custom and walked out to find somewhere else who would welcome us

The food was delicious and portions were large and affordable. The café is a lovely modern building and beautifully located overlooking the Cromarty Firth. The café is dog friendly although you have to sit in a neuk off to the side of the main cafe, which was fine, however if there were two or three dogs in there it could be chaos.

Really chuffed with this place. I love to visit independent cafes & restaurants & am so glad we came across this. The food was delicious & the atmosphere was beautiful. They have a wide range of brunch foods, a selection of beautiful pastries & a shop with all sorts of things. They sell local artwork, too! We bought a beautiful photograph of a highland cow & she is up on our living room wall! Good value for money. Definitely worth a stop here.

Great location with fantastic local food. There is a big garden with tables outside so ideal for good weather. Lots of parking spaces.

A super busy cafe so book or be prepared to wait for a table …but worth the wait. We enjoyed toasties …and a cuppa…with a cheesecake to takeaway. The mint aero cheesecake was absolutely delicious. So smooth and creamy and really tasty! It was busy and noisy but we enjoyed our visit. Would return. Free parking. Good views. Takeaway an option. Clean toilets.

Amazing food. Came for breakfast and it was the best meal we have eaten since being up here. Eggs benedict and French toast were delicious, eggs benedict was the best we have ever had. Will be returning in our next visit up here.

Excellent food and wonderful service

Never made it up here until now. Well worth a visit. Good breakfast and lunch menus (lunch menus well marked for GF but the breakfast not so much).

Not so dog friendly and rude staff!! Food is mediocre and over priced. My family and I will not be returning as we were made to feel very uncomfortable from an older female member of staff who was very abrupt!

Went past especially today at 2.15 but it wasn’t open.

Very nice small cafe on outskirts of Dingwall. Fantastic views over the firth - with plenty of outside seating this place will be great on a sunny day any season. Friendly welcome and quick service. Very nice food and reasonable prices for Sausage Morning Roll, Eggs Royale, Fruit Scone, Maltese Chessecake, Mocha and Americano. They have a good lunch time menu and daily specials on the board.

Lovely wee place with friendly, helpful staff and tasty food at a very good price. The aspect is great with a lovely view and plenty of free parking. Highly recommend this wee gem and look forward to returning soon 😍

Not the best breakfast food in Dingwall, but in the UK. Couldn’t be more perfect. People couldn’t be nicer. The view is awe inspiring but like looking at a brick wall compared to the food. I will be chasing this experience until I die.

A hidden gem, amazing place, stunning views, fab service and fantastic food.

Food was decent, the view was absolutely stunning and the staff were friendly and the service was great.

Hands down the best meal out in a long time and definitely the best burger I have ever eaten. I had the highland farm burger, it was beautifully flavoured, pink, juicy cheese and relish were lush and went perfectly. My husband has the pork and chorizo special and he was equally impressed- and he knows his burgers ! My son had the fish and chips, the fish was cooked perfectly and the batter was so light and crispy . Really impressed with this place and what a fantastic chef!!

Stopped for cake and coffee. I did not know this place existed!! Lovely outdoor space and kids area. Will definitely be back 😁 We came back today. Lovely place with a buzzing atmosphere. Good coffee and food choices.

Found this wonderful place on Google. Turned up to a warm greeting and managed to snag the last table inside. This place is busy for a reason! Had the best cappuccino I’ve ever had (and believe me I’ve had a lot of coffee!). Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend!

The fruit scone with clotted cream and jam was delicious. The strawberry tart was also quite good. My wife really enjoyed her mocha. The staff were all nice and friendly. Decent sized and accessible parking lot. Would definitely recommend a stop here, you’ll get some great views as well!

I'm upset I didn't find it before! It is a stunning location and a wee bit of a faff to get to, but seriously worth while. I absolutely recommend it. The ash blonde woman who served us was delightful.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and coffee here. Inside and outside seating available, both with stunning views. We had not made a table reservation for lunch on a Sunday but thankfully the staff could fit us in. We will book when returning in the future however. Great variety of food and a nice atmosphere for any age.

First time visiting was not disappointed it was lovely. Ordered a Brie bacon and cranberry panni but think they forgot the Brie. So asked for a other one that was not a problem at all they very appoliged. Also got a free cake which was so nice of them. Will be back again thank you.

Great location, modernly designed café with a beautiful terrace and wonderful views over the Cromarty Firth. Coffee and food of very good organic quality. Very friendly staff and absolutely worth the detour from the A9 into the hills to take a relaxing break.

Have only been twice so far. It's always busy (a telling indicator), but staff are excellent at fitting you in. Plenty of parking. You may have a few minutes to wait, and they'll even reconfigure tables to get you seated. They're all polite, welcoming, efficient and effective at their work. The food is excellent too. Fresh made and flavourful. The specials board has had some unusual, tasty options on both our visits. Highly recommended. Definitely returning.

After struggling to find many restaurants and general food options (other than co op and spa) whilst doing the nc500 this was a welcomed find we came across on Google just off route. The portion sizes where great, all freshly made and the views from the seats where fantastic. Definitely good value for money

Pitched up at Sunday Lunchtime without a booking. Venue full and people queuing. As there were just two of us the staff managed to kindly accommodate. Staff were warm, friendly and very slick. Service was first class considering how busy. The food was excellent, all locally sourced. My friend had the black pudding and bacon salad, I had the halloumi burger. Side order of onion rings which were the size of a car wheel. A lovely lunch experience with superb views. Warm and inviting.

Popped in for a coffee n cake, but the strawberry tart didn't even have one whole strawberry on it, 2 thin slices of strawberry atop a mound of cream, disappointed to say the least.

Been going here for about 6 months and we've noticed a drop in the quality of the food. Still lovely, but it's not uncommon for fries to be over cooked or the food not to be to the same standards it was previously.

What a fabulous cafe. The staff are all professional, friendly and helpful. I ordered the Black Isle Benedict - sumptuous, tasty, generous portion and bought out very quickly. And with the tills still runny. Absolutely perfect. That, and the view of the Loch from the table, I will definitely be back when Ium in the area. Thank you for great service and excellent food. Had a breakfast here to much for me and I found it a bit pricey for just a breakfast, it was nice but not for me, but there is lovely views 😊
