The best restaurants in Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

Lovely atmosphere but the food let it down. Both my wife and my dishes were medicore. Everything else says top notch. The atmosphere is superb and service is attentive. It's a pity the food was bland. We had starters and main course. Pasta with rage sauce was so disappointing. Wine list was very pricey.

Don't waste your money!!....this used to b one of the best....unfortunately not any more!!.....ordered takeaway last night..portion sizes were a joke..very small,food was cold,tasteless ...embarrassing....won't b back.

Nuestra primera vez en este pub. Buen ambiente, personal amable y limpio. Comida pedida, servicio rápido por desgracia la comida era mucho que desear.

Looks like it has been taken over and food quality is on the decline. Pizzas are still decent but slight changes to things like the spicy chicken and the mushroom pakora, to name but a couple of previous favourites, are just not the same. The pakora, in particular, quite crispy and hard. Sadly, won’t be back as often as I may have been.

Food is in generous portions cooked very well and tastes amazing doesn't have that old oil or uncleaned fryers taste you get at most chip shops, really friendly staff 10/10 I recommend visiting this place for reasonably priced good food

Rubbish choice of pastas. Came here hoping for late night italian style chippy takeaway. Nope, about 3 pastas on the menu. Left with chippy food that was greasy. Poor attitude from lady serving as well - to all customers. Disappointed after traveling a decent bit to come here to not find what I was looking for.

Never again, served me the most foul and innedible kebab iv seen in my life. Thing was cold and solid. Couldnt get me to eat it even if you held me at gunpoint.

Ryan and Colby were my servers, very friendly and made my drink exactly how I ordered it :)

Meat was off in special feied rice. I got money back but the woman told me it was fine. No wonder you're not as busy anymore. Your food is rotten and owners attitude stinks

It was mid-afternoon in a snowy Glasgow and after seeing the movie Maestro (lifestory of composer Leonard Bernstein) at the nearby GFT we were in need of a late lunch; somewhere can-do, cosy and welcoming. At The Salon we were offered all that and more. Welcomed from the minute the door was opened for us, we found the staff attentive and caring - nothing was too much trouble. In tribute to Maestro Bernstein's New York, I had a Reuben sandwich. Food and wine came quickly and was delicious. By coincidence, our friendly and efficient server was called Felicia - the same name as Mrs Bernstein. The movie references aside, here is a venue where you can feel relaxed and looked after. Reminded me of the atmosphere in the late lamented Rogano. Good mix of people including a newly married couple, hotel and spa guests, and walk-ins like ourselves. Would it be too cliched to say that 'There's A Place for Us'!

Worst McDonald’s experience I have ever had. If I could rate it zero I would. Chips were cold, hard and inedible, chicken in wrap was chewy and cold, and as for the drink, it tasted flat and disgusting, worse than a soda stream. The cup it was served in was dirty and it also tasted like it was a mix of Fanta and coke so the pipes on the juice machine need cleaning. I just ditched it in the bin and walked out.

Waiting time through delivery was absolutely horrid the driver for Just Eat was waiting at the restaurant for 50 God damn minutes! Food was bone cold food items were missing and each time we tried to call to get an update. We were told the driver had not arrived Each time. First time they told us they were absolutely swept off their feet busy but when I phoned there was hardly any background noise of machines going off or even people ordering food. It sounds to me that the staff are just bone idle and don’t care about their customers! THEY EVEN PUT THE TANGO CAN INSIDE THE BOX WITH THE FOOD AND TWO SIDES HE DID NOT ASK FOR!! Don’t bother opening your doors that service is absolutely disgusting coming from someone who worked the fast food industry as manager. This was appalling. DONT BOTHER GOING HERE unless you want bone cold food and cross contamination from your drinks being put into the box of food. (Can photo was after it was opened)
