Domino's Pizza - Glasgow - Shawlands in Glasgow City

Both two times i’ve went into this shop i’ve been met by rude employees, first i asked if they had a restroom that they clearly do as i can see it, they said no rudley, they put a hiring sign outside the shop then when i went in the guy proceeded to lie to me and say they weren’t and that there wasn’t a sign, very rude employees the sign was on the window of the shop that says to come inside and apply within the guy lied to my face and told me it didn’t. very rude employees wouldn’t recommend giving money to these people.

Purchased the 2 medium pizza deal midweek collection. One chicken feast and one veggie volcano. Well disappointing the chicken feast should be renamed Paltry Poultry. More chicken to be found in a McDonald's chicken nugget! The veggie pizza was a better option but if you like chicken and fancy a feast don't Go to Dominos. This was an online Tuesday night order and the takeaway was empty.

If you go in to order and then collect it's pretty good. But if you order online it's usually a bit rubbish. Seems like if they're busy the quality drops, but on quieter periods (like lunchtime) it's so fresh and nice.

Delivery driver so rude left me having to chase my dog down the street as he just left my gate open when I asked him to wait so I could get him in he just walked away disgraceful attitude

Absolute terrible. Food makes you sick and also the service is so bad they would rather you order online use an app even when you are inside the shop. Actually angry with me cos I phone up or walk in and order. Absolute joke. And no cash either. Avoid dominos like the plauge. Go Toni's prob cheaper

Their drivers are out of control. A liability in how they abandon their cars on an already busy road including speeding in and out of the area.

Made me pay an extra 90p for a garlic butter dip for pizza. Older Asian guy was a bit rude.

Pizza was good but almost £20 for a small pizza, drink and side is too much. Used to order regularly from Giffnock and then when Shawlands opened. Deal used to be £10. Pizza was good but too small for the price and wedges were like scraps, they have got smaller too. Instead of one a week I have one a year now as I don’t like being ripped off, so I end up saving money anyway.

Fast service, friendly staff. Very attentive and has a great atmosphere.

Super thin base, hardly any toppings or cheese. Won't be ordering from this branch again. Tuna pizza large had less than a teaspoon of tuna. For the price for this pizza even with discount its just not worth it! Will stick to another well known franchise.

Shocking service! The apparent manager Harris!! It is my birthday and my boyfriends mum had organized a wee get together for me. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 sides and not only did they not send out a gluten free pizza they sent out the wrong pizza and two wrong sides. Harris then followed up with they would sort it and send out another order(correct order) after saying a refund wasn’t possible. After an hour we called back and Harris told us ‘no we never sent it out’ (acting clueless). He then argued with no manners at all. No apology for a possible allergic reaction due to carelessness over a gluten free pizza! No apology for the wrong order! No apology for the wait! We then asked for a refund again and the guy replied he can’t so we asked the options and we were told ‘it’s up to you’. We then finally got told we can actually be refunded now. My boyfriends mum therefore asked if the service is usually like this and Harris followed that up with I am not answering anymore questions I have dealt with you!! We would be nothing but understanding if it was a busy night and they were accommodating to our complaints! So all together is this the normal customer service dominos pizza offer?

Warning for fraud! You took down my order over the phone and even took my payment but never delivered the pizzas. What's worse - you have no log of my order nor my payment. You've been refusing to refund me. My bank has confirmed that my payment went to you. Your Customer Service Team is hopeless. I've spoken with the police and my case is reported to Glasgow Trading Standards. You have breached the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You have 14 days to respond i.e. to refund me. Otherwise you'll have Trading Standards after you. If you don't refund me within 30 days, my bank will be taking a legal action against you. Do the right thing!! Shut down if you don't know how to do business.

unbelievable excuse 3 hour late because we are very bizzy and when you go to collect the delivery all is finding the order because pizza was lost atlast they find it in one corner of the shelf our order and it was cold they cant do any thing because it was too bizzy

Pizza was ready for a while but hadn't been collected by a driver. So I called the shop to ask regarding the delivery and to mention that since its been made for a while it will be cold by now and if they could make sure I dont get a cold pizza picked up for delivery. Alisha on the other end replied with a quick "It will be hot" which of course upon delivery it was not. Waste of money and time. Giving it two stars because they atleast picked the phone up.

TL;DR. Avoid, no quality control and don't listen to customer feedback. We just ordered two pizzas. The one pictured was so over fired the base crumbles like a digestive and is extremely unpleasant. The pepperoni is totally overcooked and dry. The other was underdone with the cheese only just melted and no colour/browning at all. We called them up to give feed back on the poor quality of the food and were told that, and I'm not joking here, the food can't be over done or under done as it all goes in for a fixed time. There is clearly no quality control or accountability to speak of. This place has been hit and miss since it opened, but this is the last straw. I'd recommend anyone to go to Battlefield Dominoes if they can. They were consistently great, It's just annoying we can't get delivery here any more from them since these cowboys have opened up closer to our address.

Ordered two large pizzas and received two mediums. Contacted the store by Facebook and email but was ignored. Sticking with Battlefield store now.

The toppings are under cooked , it looks like some throw up the pepper are deformed by far the worst pizza I had not even finished half is it. Definitely do not recommend. Potatoe wedges are under cooked

We have been using this Dominos for years. They used to be Okay, but their standards have been seriously slipping of late ! Wife and daughter ordered a half & half pizza and the Margarita half had very little cheese on it(as can be seen in pic)! On top of that delivery was late and pizza was stone cold. Phoned to complain and was told “Some people like the pizza that way” ..........Really?

Hit & miss with their consistency. When it's good, it's very good but a bit too often their pizza has bubbled whilst cooking and has patchy bits with no topping. They need to get on top of this. As of July 2019 the last couple of pizzas I've had were disappointing whereas previously had mostly been good.

Pizzas are fantastic but are so vastly overpriced I won't be back

Just ordered a Margherita pizza with mushroom and onion and basically got a tomato pizza, hardly any cheese at all, total joke. This has happened the last couple of times now so I won’t be using them again. Absolute rip off.

Definately a regular staple , both for pickup and delivery. Know what to expect - which is a good thing in this case! Offer emails are good too.

Ordered 2 pizzas at 17.55, conformed by email. at 18.55 Foned Shawlands branch to be told really busy staff quite abrupt so asked to speak to manager , to be told he's to busy , 😠 so OK I'll come down and collect , go down , pizzas have left 😱 not to worry he says so guy refunds the cost ,,, not the point , when they arrived 1 hour and 10 mins after ordering ,Yip they were cold , not good at all , next time if there is a next time I will go in and order, has to be faster , but dominos you need to up your game

My daughter wanted a Papa John's, but this just opened, so I talked her into trying it. I was the only customer, but they still managed to ignore me in favour of chatting to delivery man. No nod or eye contact, no welcome smile. I was about to go when I was asked what I wanted. A small margarita. £5.99. I produced a twenty. He actually just walked away. I was left like an idiot. After a few minutes another chap appeared. £5.99. Took the twenty this time. Demanded a name. David. Frown. After an age, pizza for David - I am the only person there. Are you David? Yep. Have you paid? He asked pulling back the box. Yep. Got the box, but before going I said, you ought to give out receipts. Chap then makes a big huff and puff printing my receipt. Jeez. Bad experience. Didn't seem all that clean either. Pizza was overcooked. Most of it was binned as inedible. Shame. The owners or managers are simply not on top of this one. Back to Papa John's across the road.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Had an error with my order and the staff were more than helpful in making sure a replacement pizza was sent to me quickly. Great pizza too
