After God created the heavens on earth, separated the seas and skies, gathered the waters and grew the vegetation, on the seventh day he rested. What the bibles authors failed to document was that on that day an overwhelming hunger manifested in him, one that could not be satisfied only with the vegetation that he had created. So after resting on the seventh day. Lo and behold the gories of Burger Guru's chicken wings, the luxiours spicy and tender chicken wings with a ever so slight hint of citrus, thou shall enjoy! These are best tasting chicken wings on earth they would make a vegetation turn. I even dropped a bit of the sauce on my bed by accident and it stained but i wasn't even mad as now every time I see that stain on my bed it brings me joy and I remember how good those chicken wings were. Thankyou for everything Burger Guru. On the other hand the guru Burger i ordered was okay ish but that's maybe because I'm not a fan of chicken and beef together.

Daughter ordered early hours this morning and food didn’t arrive. Cant get through to anyone for refund!!

Worst munchie box i have ever had. The box was leaking from the oil, salad missing, wrong drink delivered and the box is half empty. Never again

Ordered 3 burgers 2 double 1 single, got 2 singles and one with no burger at all. Tried to call the business to explain could hear them laughing in the background. There are no words.

After Grill guru disappeared for a while, I thought to give it a go again. Given all the negative recent reviews which I began reading after placing my order, me and my partner weren’t hopeful. The food actually arrived! it was decent, fresh and still warm. Couldn’t communicate with the restaurant at all, the numbers just ring out but I enjoyed what I had. We paid with cash, not sure if that made a difference to it arriving. The food wasn’t bad, but it isn’t how I remember grill guru from a few years ago.

My order went to the wrong address and I never got my food this is a waste of time

Do not order from here on just eat the place has shut down you will not get your food!

Food delivery arrived late last time but was pretty soggy. Commented on UberEats and they gave me a discount on my current order which is good. I wish their phone worked however, they should be taking calls in case people want to change an order on the go or ask for something that uber doesn't offer. (like making sure chips come with salt on them)

We have ordered from this place many times. And its average food normally, bless them. However today, we received some very interesting food. My mother went to get the food and saw the burnt buns and she was told dont worry "they are not burnt just toasted." Please see the pictures attached and make your own decision. Normally I would not leave a review and shame a business establishment however none of the numbers are working and no facility or option to get a refund. 40quid I spent I wouldnt of paid a penny for a burnt burger. Looks like one of them went sunbathing and forgot to apply lotion to one side. Looks like the sun only shone on the left side for a couple days. When your eating dinner at 6pm and hammering in nails at 7.

Ordered two burgers and two drinks waited over two hours and nothing arrived and they call that “fast food takeaway” after looking at the reviews I wish I had avoided this place, The reviews clearly reflect the food Standard and doesn’t even look like it’s worth one star. good place to avoid not just my opinion the opinion of many others.

Worst takeaway I've had. Cold, sloppy, disgusting food and they didn't even get half the order right. The chicken strips are absolutely tiny. Avoid like the plague.

Avoid this place! If 0 stars was possible then I would give them that! Never ordering from here again! My partner ordered pizza and chicken pakora, only thing delivery driver gave was a portion of chicken pakora, showed them the order and said he would he back in 5/10 minutes, didn't come back at all, phoned and phoned got a automated voice saying the mailbox is full, can't accept anymore messages!

If I could give 0 stars I would ! This is honestly the WORST service I have ever experienced! Took over 3 hours to get delivered and when it was delivered, it wasn’t even to me !! It was delivered to the wrong address !! Such a waste of time and money and I definitely won’t be ordering from here again

Paid like £15 for a large halloumi fries and a burrito. Food took almost 2 hours to come and arrived cold, but hey, I’ll wait for good food! Instead, I’ve been let down. If the takeaway sees this review, you know yourself this can’t be considered a large or “premium” side of halloumi fries worth £6 alone. You’ve given me a good laugh, but that’s not what I pay for haha. I can’t say I’ll ever go back, burrito was decent but most unfortunately not worth the effort.

Food was OK. Sounds terrible but Asian guy cooking Indian food ... ? Seems strange. Chicken Kebab was a chargrilled piece of chicken in a wrap with tomato and lettuce. Either make it an Indian grill or an Asian grill- both are phenomenal but seems very confused

Place a order through the webside waited 40m and after phone in shop and get told that we just recieve the order now so disappointed the customer service and have to cancel it.

The worst. I've been waiting two hours and it's still not here. It's a Wednesday night. When I called up I was being genuinely polite and I was hung up on. I thought maybe I got cut off so I called back and was hung up on again. I immediately tried to call back and it really to answer machine because they were ignoring me. I asked for the manager on the fourth call who told me it would be another 10 minutes (50 minutes ago). The cheese on their chips isn't cheese but some poor cheese sauce, the halloumi fries are £4.50 and were impossibly small and the sweet potatoe fries were terrible Totally overpriced. Terrible service. It's not a stretch to say the whole outfit is a con. Just worse than useless.

Ordered food at 12:00 by Uber eats, called them, they didn't care my order didn't arrive. Called them, they said it would be in 10 minutes at 1:43, I waited. I called them again at 2:20 they said the same, they charged me for food and never delivered it. Its now 2:42 and no food from them. Bearing in mind its 2:42 and the order was only supposed to take 40-50 minutes, but they don't care.

5 stars for top notch customer service by one of the workers- Vamsi. First time trying this and he was extremely helpful with recommendations. Food was good too. Although customer service like that at 1:30 am is what will keep me coming back keep it up!

Poor services. Half piri was raw and wasn't cooked properly, pita was raw as well . They didn't answer the phone.

Very bad experience with grill guru. They accept orders from the food delivery apps and deliver the food after 2 - 3 hrs.

Guru: an influential teacher or popular expert You guys are neither teachers or experts in making chips or burgers. Chips were all cemented together by some mad cheese sauce thing. Stone cold. Burger was the equivalent of what you'd get out the burger van at the shows. It sucks when you can tell someone cares more about the margin than the quality.

I'm a regular to this place. Absolutely love the flame grilled jerk chicken strips and guru fries.

Placed an order online to be delivered. Order took just over 3.5 hours to arrive. Piri Piri chicken was very dry and bland, tasted more like old chicken. The burgers where sadly the processed frozen processed type that where pretty nasty, sad to say that l could buy a pre cooked rustlers burger from tesco and would have tasted much better. I do not think any of the staff here is trained in the food trade and that includes all the Cook's, there is no sense of pride here in what they give customers, during covid l didnt see any hand washing here or any staff wearing uniforms not forgetting to mention dace masks.

Place is an absolute joke. Order set to arrive 4:25, called them a couple of times after it hadnt arrived and someone eventually answered the phone at 5:10 and told me its on its way and should be 10 minutes. Its now 5:40 and still no sign of the order. Useless and lying to me clearly the guys just shut up shop and cant be arsed to tell me.

A vegan friend of mine was given cow's chesse at this place with a "vegan" order and had her number blocked when she reached out to them about it, (It was take away).

I am a regular customer as my son`s school is nearby. Every time we have a good time by ordering delicious foods at Grill Guru.

I am unfortunately a regular customer and like to give my honest review about grill guru. The food consistency is zero, the chicken is always burned though I have to tell them before ordering but they don’t care. I am sure the owner of this business is not bothered bcuz the food is not healthy at all. So it your choice to make your way somewhere else than eating burned food .

The Chicken Wings and spicy rice combo is excellent. The Chicken quality is also excellent as are the prices. That Hot Sauce is one of the best in Glasgow. Food is Highly recommended. Only improvements should be 1. Cutlery on the tables (Forks) 2. Maybe a more friendly atmosphere, but i do realised that it is a takeaway.

Very unprofessional and rude cashier. Answering his own phone during the order as well as shouting to the caller. Card machine wasn't working and my friend didn't have cash so he waved his hand at us as if we were to get lost. Glad I didn't give them my own cash. Also, they advertise student discounts but don't actually run the promotion. Pathetic, not worth your time or money.

Gourmet Beef burgers are frozen... horribly dry and cold

One of my work mates took me here am not a big chicken/spicy person so I went for the burger and it was fantastic been twice more with my partner and daughter who also love it and that's why am giving it the full 5 stars

Tried full chicken and chicken strips.. over priced . Lemon and herb had no taste . All i taste was burnt herbs. Won't go back for sure.

One of the best chicken kebabs in the city always fresh no long wait. A must for anyone that likes a good quality chicken kebab......... So my go to place for a kebab will think again!!! 3rd time now got the wrong order! Chicken Donner kebab got home was lamb twice this happened. Now tonight added salad to my kebab!!!! What is so hard about a chicken Donner kebab with just sauce and cheese?? Will give one last chance and explain my reasons hope you can sort this out!

why do you need nandos or 5guys when Grill Guru makes the same quality food for half the price

I cant believe I ate this much fabulous food. It's Grill Guru's classic burgers which contained with chicken breast. Undoubtedly, the best grill store in Glasgow. The creative range is a treat, but the real strength is the consistently outstanding basics of the burger---fresh, delicious and great value. A must for any who visit Glasgow!

Ordered on just eat at 01:50 AM got told it would be here for 3:55 it wasn’t here for that time so phoned them back up and got told they tried to phone my number and couldn’t get through that’s the reason why they didn’t send delivery out, and got told it would be another 35-45 minutes, it is now 05:00 AM and I am still waiting on this delivery😂, first time ordering from this place and it will definitely be the last time😂.

I'm not even sure what I ordered but it was outstanding good. Chips, spicy chicken and a can for £3.99. Amazing value. I didn't ask for/get a take-away fork (and it needed one) but I ate every bit with my fingers as I couldn't stop eating it. I will be back.

Horrible food, I ordered the gourmet cheese burger meal for £8. First of all the beef patty was frozen not even freshly made paid £8 you would atleast expect the beef patty not to be frozen and made to order, it was tastless, the relish on the burger was the worst sauce ever the salad on the burger was brown and soggy fries are dried and hard, cheap sauce and the only thing decent was my can of juice

I just had gourmet guru special burger and trust me I have eaten so many burgers in my life and this was the worst burger ever .i would rather eat a stuffed rat with nails rather than eating that thing again ... If the option was there I would rate the burger 0 stars!!
