Kang Fish & Chips in Glasgow City

Actually a new and dynamic place on shettleston road, lots to choose from, Proper fish n chips, burgers kebab, specialist curries and open till 11pm - Fantastic for the area!

Placed order and order arrived missing items and wrong order! Ordered mozzarella sticks and recived garlic mushrooms! Which im allergic to! Cannot get through when try to call so will be taking this further. Wont be ordering again and would advice anyone else to stay clear from this chip shop.

Just had the worst special fish delivery ever cold ! Greasy ! Had to search for the actual fish. And it cost £8-00 what a rip off

Order a special fish what I got was 1 piece of fish halved in 2 spoke to the owner he was very rude and said that’s the way he does a 2 piece special fish never had this before a have always had 2 full pieces of fish would not recommend for Fish

Went in, was gross, thought I'd give it a chance, ordered a kebab, lettuce was brown round the edges, guy said it was just cut, aye last week! Got home with my order, it was DISGUSTING!!! Meat tasted as if it was from last week, totally boggin, avoid this place like the plague, you'll catch the plague if you don't already have it 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

Order took forever to arrive. Fishcakes we’re dry. Chips were dry and tasted watery. Pizza crunch was soggy and soaked in grease. I upgraded to a supper for 2 pounds which got me a handful of chips. Curry sauce was congealed. So disappointed that I’ve wasted my money.

I don't know if this has changed owners or not but I was just in getting a large chips. Young boy on his phone the whole time. Never washed or sanitised his hands. And the portion I got was absolutely ridiculous. There's no way that was a normal size let alone a large. I picked the box and it was light so I shook it and it sounded and felt half full. £3.50 for a handful of chips. Rip off. Definitely won't go there again.

I rarely write reviews however the food was disgusting and the staff abhorrent over the phone. I ordered three fish suppers and the fish was completely DRENCHED in oil, too crispy and the chips were very hard - rehears. The woman on the phone was very rude to me as well. Avoid this place at all costs! I would not give this food to a starving dog.

What's not to like about fish and chips decent munch

Complete waste of time. 2 attempts to order and 2 cancellations with different excuses. First time no drivers available 2nd claiming I'm outside the delivery area. Sort out your delivery radius on the app if that is the case and dont accept orders only to cancel them 10mins later.

Will never order from there ever again I found hair on my food and it’s disgusting 🤢 waste of money gone straight to the bins I’ve asked for refund which they refused to i was offered another meal but no thanks as i don’t trust this place with my food?

Ordered the chippy box , waited over an hour for food to arrive pretty much cold and hard. Fritters were to thick and not crispy, will not order from here again.

Never will I ever order from this place, ordered food for kids came 5 minutes after ordering chips were all freezing cold, phoned to let them know instead I got an attitude from the girls who spoke to me. Shocking.

I just got a delivery special fish chips 2 pickles it was yummy well cooked warm i will be using eat well chippy again thankyou delivered with a smile also

Bit basic but tasty enough food

TERRIBLE, ordered a munch box and it was kidding fritters and onion rings. Delivery came a hour late and the donner meat tasted like rubber. Pakora was so dry. Chips were so dry too, the can of juice smelled of fish, which proves it was lying there for a while. Do not order! waste of £10

I live in castlemilk and travel to the east end for this chip shop all meals are made fresh while you wait takes a little longer but so worth it. Staff are great and a very welcoming atmosphere in the shop. The prices are really good too. Well worth a visit or home delivery

The worst place for food I've ever been too, greasy undercooked and cold, don't bother paying by card because they take forever delivering and just eat are no help what so ever !

Never buy smoke sausage supper it look like they are buying the small smoke sausage from farm foods at a pound and charging 2 pounds by no means is it wearth it dont know how they came out with eat well?

Everything is amazing found it on just eat on Lockdown wont go anywhere else try it you wont be disappointed

Absolute joke of a restaurant ordered food on uber eats that says it's in my area and they make me wait and hour and a half for me to phone up and they said the order was cancelled and they had already took the money out of my bank account wouldnt waste my money on this awful service it's a disgrace of a restaurant if I could give zero stars I would.

Ordered off Uber eats to only wait for an hour and a half for us to phone up and be told “it’s been cancelled”, when in fact no one bothered to inform us and they also took the money out my bank account, and then to cancel it after the phone call ended. Didn’t even get an apology and pretty much wasted time waiting for food we never got. Their excuse was “we don’t deliver to that area”, which makes no sense considering they choose their location to include where we stay, otherwise it wouldn’t have come up as an option. It is one of the worse services I’ve ever received or witnessed. Didn’t even apologise, just insisted they’d cancelled it and that we were wrong ... 100% do not recommend!!

Well it's a chip shop,but the food is good,pizzas are very good unhealthy food but well cooked

Waited for an hour and a half after the 45 minute wait that they said it would be. I had to call twice and when I got the food, it was cold and the packaging was dissolving from the grease. The food was completely drenched in grease to the point that the fish was falling apart at the touch. No salt at at all and everything tasted the same.

I love the food out of here. Always nice and fresh and the staff are always friendly.

The store is rarely open at the time it states, which has led to a lot of wasted time.

Really love this we chip shop very helpful staff welcome u with a smile and food is great I would highly recommend this we chip shop to anyone who love's there chip shop's u can get 3 suppers for ten pounds although this doesn't enclode fish or chicken supers but every other meal is encloded very cheap chip shop most single s are only 2.80 that's for hamburger and things like that like I said very cheap chip shop and really lovely food .
