Marina Fish & Chips in Glasgow City

Rubbish choice of pastas. Came here hoping for late night italian style chippy takeaway. Nope, about 3 pastas on the menu. Left with chippy food that was greasy. Poor attitude from lady serving as well - to all customers. Disappointed after traveling a decent bit to come here to not find what I was looking for.

Rude and aggressive man behind the counter.

I used to always go to another fish and chip shop in the area but I now started to go here. I absolutely love the fish that they sell here. It's so fresh and delicious. The batter is very light and bubbly on the regular fish and on a special fish the crumb on the fillet is just a treat. It's excellent priced for the area as I know some fish and chips shops can be very pricey.

Solid chippy on the south side, fish is always fresh cooked.

Man behind the counter was extremely rude. I could hear him lying to other customers about what they offered. The food was fine. This is the 2nd chance I have given this chippy after a disappointing first go and I will never give them my money again. Also the prices are all over the place.

Rude staff and terrible service

Was ordering my food lastnight and the atmosphere wasn’t very pleasant, seen the fryer shouting at the counter assistant repeatedly for no reason as she was serving at the counter, if there was a problem should’ve been dealt with behind scenes not infront of customers!

Best chips I've had for a long time. Wee bit of a wait because they were freshly fried, but they were delicious! Thanks guys! 10/10

First ever visit and will never go again! I asked for a quarter pizza crunch supper, got told none ready. So I said can you make one, no we only have a half ready. I said I don’t want a half can you half the half so I can have a quarter and told not allowed!!! What a joke, they cook everything as soon as they open and it’s piled up high in a heater and sits there all night, lazy they don’t cook anything fresh to order!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID go to Enzo’s much better quality, fresh and great customer service

This was the most disgusting takeaway I have ever ordered. Every single bit went in the bin and I wasted money. I very rarely write reviews, but this his really was horrendous.

disgusting grease soaked chips with a tiny slither of battered fish also dripping in smelly stale oil/grease and cost nearly 10 quid...never a que in here and now i know why they must rely on drunks coming out the pubs with no care for what there eating hence why they are open to 1am

Thoroughly enjoyed this chippy shop with some quality fish and chips and stone baked pizzas, normally fish and chips comes extremely greasy but this place surprisingly had some really quality stuff I would recommend and will definitely be coming back to this place. Customer service was a little strange at the start as the woman at the counter seemed extremely miserable I would say the food has therefore recovered from me giving this place a 3 star. A word of advice be extremely friendly to the customers as they make or break your business This chippy is located at the heart of Pollokshaws Road you will be dealing with a lot of different type of customers just have a little smile on your face and I’m sure it will attract a lot more customers

Been a few times in the past couple of weeks, fish is lovely and crispy and everything is cooked to order which is a great sign. And they do mushy peas! Tried their pizza and pasta too, pizza was nice and I also love the fact they do a carbonara for me with mushrooms instead of pork (I'm pescatarian). Loved everything so far, highly recommended.

Order came late and was not hot by the time it was delivered, items were missing and some of it was clearly just frozen food.

Great chip shop, also do lovely pizzas and the pasta is outstanding. You've got to try the Scozzese pasta it is a personal favourite of mines. Staff very friendly and welcoming as well.

Definitely my go to fish and chip shop now. Staff are brilliant and the food is fresh and very reasonably priced, Definitely recommend.

There are plenty fish and chip shops nearby but this outshines most. Decent chips and very good fish, fresh and tasty, and in excellent crispy batter. It’s a new venture and deserves to do well.

Great chippy, l overly and fresh

To be honest wasn't on my plans to get fish and chips for dinner, but I'm glad i do not booked a table on the restaurants around Marinas, this was one of those happy accidents. So good , tasty, good chips and the portion, plenty. Don't know the last owners or whatever, but they clearly know what they are doing! Thanks and keep going. 💞👌🏽🐟🍟

This is the chippy this area is need of! The fish is beautifully prepared, so fresh and not greasy in the slightest. Chips are also perfectly cooked. I rarely get fish and chips and I've been back to this place four times in the past six weeks. A welcome addition to Pollokshaws Road.

This is my place to go for fish and chips in Glasgow South Side . The shop is spotless and at present the COVID 19 precautions are perfect . The couple run it like clockwork , husband fries and wife deals with customers and payment. The fish is cooked to order and portions huge. Couldn’t be better

The best chippy in Southside of Glasgow! All fish is freshly cooked so your not eating fish that's just been sitting drying out under the heat. Great portion size also, my once a week treat, would highly recommended.

This is the only best fish & chip shop where it is hot hot hot. Every item cooked proper & still hot by the time I got home to thornliebank from govanhill pollokshaws rd establishment. Fantastic.brilliant.

A traditional Italian chip shop which is a hidden gem in an area bursting with fast food outlets. The special fish supper is truly ‘special’ both in quality and portion size. This place prides itself in making good food and when more people get to know about to know about it, you may have to wait that bit longer. Freshly cooked to order 👍

Lovely people working in this wee tiny fish & chips place. The portion size is quite big, so you’ll get a lot for your money. Need to say, it’s very fresh and super tasty.

Took forever and treated like I had a cheek to chase it even though it was 25 minutes later than exp delivery. Disappointing as used here a lot. Will not order again.
