Banca di Roma in Glasgow City

Ate here yesterday evening food was amazing and Minnie our server was very knowledgeable and efficient. She was attentive and professional.

Tried this place for my friend's birthday, and while the place is beautiful, the experience was not very good. We had a table booked for dinner at 8pm, but when we got there it wasn't ready yet. We were seated upstairs at the bar for a bit which we were not too bothered by however, we did have another reservation for drinks in Glasgow at half nine, so we were hoping to get started quickly. After almost half an hour waiting without even being offered drinks we were seated at our table. The waiters we had at the table were lovely & took our drinks orders as soon as we sat down followed by our food orders shortly after. Unfortunately it did take another 20 minutes before our drinks arrived. By the time our food came, it was about 21:10. My friend and I ordered the "Giuseppe's Italian sausage pizza" to share, which was supposed to have "wild broccoli" on top. Instead, it was just plain, unseasoned boiled broccoli placed on top of the pizza (see picture) we actually did find this quite funny however, it's still not what you would expect paying these sorts of prices! The pizza also had a very overpowering taste of Anise, presumably coming from the sausage. Now I am aware that Italian sausage often contains Anise however, this was so strong that it could be comparable to eating a pizza topped with a box of liquorice Assorts!!! The other girls had pasta dishes which they seemed to enjoy so maybe it's just a case of ordering the wrong thing? I did try a bit of my friend's Lasagne which was nice enough but definitely lacking flavour. Charging £18+ for very basic pasta when there are much nicer places for half the price does seem a bit ridiculous. I think with this restaurant you are definitely paying for the aesthetic and not the food so if that's what you're into then go for it. It has smartly dressed waiters, monogrammed napkins and a big tree in the middle of the room which was a plus! If you are looking for great Italian food I would recommend visiting il Pastaio 5mins up the road which has absolutely delicious pasta for half the price! Another great place is Italian kitchen slightly pricier but you get what you pay for as expected. My conclusion is that it's a good place to go for taking instagram photos but not for good Italian food.

I cannot recommend Raf enough. Top class service from an amazing man. Restaurant is beautiful top class food and drink.

We have eaten In many Italian restaurants in Glasgow and in Italy and sorry to say this has to be the worst. Not only was the food overpriced but not up to the usual standards that we were expecting. Food was bland and definitely not well presented. Customers should really try other Italian restaurants as I am sure they are missing out on real Italian cuisine. Or maybe they don't mind what they eat. Also my drink arrived after I had finished my meal. Excuse was bar was too busy. Won't be back.

This restaurant is definitely a cut above the city’s other Italian restaurants.A stunning venue and ambiance. Professional and friendly staff. And a very high quality of flavoursome food and fine presentation, prepared with care under head chef Giuseppe. I will return - and soon!

We visited recently for a family birthday. It was our first time here & we were blown away with the amazing interior. It feels really special & the atmosphere was buzzing. All of our dishes were very good, if a little expensive compared to other similar restaurants. Service was quick, friendly & professional. Perfect for a special meal or occasion.

The setting was nice lovely part of Glasgow but sadly after a very good fisrt course, we both had Lasanga. It was very dry in the middle, no real taste but so dry it was like chewing saw dust. The meat was pulped not very appertising . Why do waiters asked if alls ok 20 seconds after the meal is served but when collecting especially if half the portion was left on the plate, does it not concern them to understand why. The waiters did not show enthusiasm so perhaps that’s what to expect. These automatic service charges need banning because they did not deserve it. can’t see me returning any time soon

Massively overpriced Very underwhelmed with food Won't be rushing back anytime soon

Went for drinks with two friends at the 31 bar, whilst other tables appeared to be getting table service, noone came to our table so we went to the bar to order two seperate rounds of drinks (not particularly an issue in itself) but when paying at the end they had the cheek to include a mandatory 12.5% 'service' charge, whilst we were still going to tip, 12.5% is excessive, particularly given the lack of service. When queried the person basically just said that's the bill.

Personally, I don't understand the hype around this place. I visited a few weeks ago and have still been reflecting on the strange experience. I'm not quite understanding the atmosphere this place is trying to create. The decor is elegant and in-keeping with the food but the blaring music was so off-putting and completely out of sync with the atmosphere. Trying to have a nice dinner with my boyfriend and his parents when 'Anaconda' by Nicki Minaj is absolutely blasting out the speaker was quite the odd encounter. The food was very average for the price and my Italian guests were underwhelmed. Not a place I would rush back to in a hurry.

Service needs serious improvement. I can’t believe how bad it was. Long waits, uneducated staff and messy bathrooms! We attended on Saturday night. Got seated and asked if we wanted water then after that, it was like we were forgotten about… eventually an order for both drinks and food were taken. The wait for drinks was ridiculous and our starters ended up arriving before we had even had our first drink served. We then sat with an empty bottle of water and it was never topped up. Every step of the meal was slow. We had no side plates provided for the sharing starters and we were constantly waiting between courses with empty plates. We were never asked if we wanted additional drinks or if we required any condiments with dinner. We were constantly having to catch anyone we could grab to request things. For the price point the service is simply not good enough. It’s such a shame as it’s a really beautiful setting, the food is always delicious and the drinks are tasty too … when you actually get them! The toilets were also very messy and there were no hand towels left- for me the toilets in a restaurant set the tone. This demonstrates a lack of attention to detail and professionalism in the FOH team. Regular check ups should be in place especially on a busy Saturday night. There was a waitress notepad left sitting in the toilet I used and a chef stood in uniform rolling a cigarette in the toilet (not a good look) so staff were present to see the state of the toilets but obviously not bothered to actually do anything about it. In my opinion, the management really needs to review the way they approach service. It completely lets the place down. I’ve been in a few times in hope it was a one off experience but it’s been the same every time so regrettably I can’t see myself returning. I hope this review can be taken constructively and actually put into action. This restaurant could be such a great asset for the Glasgow food scene but right now, it’s not somewhere I could recommend to anyone or return to.

Food was good...service was extremely poor 😕 had to ask several times after waiting 30mins + for wine. Left after waiting 50mins for sweet order. Such a shame but won't be back

Went there last night and really enjoyed it. Special thanks to the manager, since we had a problem with our reservation they kindly remove a drink and a main course off the bill to make it up. Also had one excellent carbonara and that's not easy to find an authentic one in Glasgow as an Italian myself 🇮🇹 I will be back especially for delicious emerald mint mojito drink🍹

My wife and I had a lovely late lunch from the set menu at the Banco di Roma. Great service, tasty food, friendly staff and lovely interior.

This was such a disappointment , we travelled 200 miles for a weekend in Glasgow and thought we would have a nice meal here , wow were we wrong . Scallops turned up stone cold , they replaced them with another which had one nuclear scallop and one stone cold beside it My wife’s salad was a joke she did not eat it , it consisted of nothing g but leaves no dressing or anything Won’t be back

Wow. Wow. WOW. The food, the service, the decor, the music - absolutely everything in this building was to perfection. The staff here have exceptional standards and everything was smooth running and our server was highly knowledgable on the wines and even recommended one to us to match our meal. The music was perfectly matched to the environment and my 2 friends and I had a truly wonderful evening. I can’t wait to come back!

31 “new”cocktail bar. Went on Saturday expecting something different and it looks exactly like it was before which was a disappointment. The decor and lay out is exactly the same just different drinks menu and nibbles. Service was very slow but probably due to lack of staff. Really was expecting something different so slightly disappointed

We drive over 200 miles for a special night away in Glasgow and chose Banca di Roma for a special birthday meal Talk about the worst experience in a restaurant ever . It started off with a very wobbly table which is very annoying I ordered scallops they came stone cold , they replaced them and one was volcanic hot whine the one next to it was stone cold ! My wife ordered a salad which was just pure tasteless salad with no dressing I had a pizza which was ok . We left very unhappy and will not return ever

Lovely building and design inside the restaurant, however the food and drinks were a let down. Drinks were not worth the money, the pint was a half pint glass and cocktails are tiny for £10. The food was terrible and also small portion for the price, we were still starving afterwards! In and out within 50 minutes and disappointing wont be back

Wonderfully attentive and friendly service from everyone. Starters of Bruschetta and scallops absolutely delicious. Mains of lasagne and lobster pasta superb. Roasted pineapple dessert amazing. Just superb all in all.

Both the reception staff and Vittorio, our waiter, spoke Spanish and that helped make the experience more pleasant. Furthermore, Vittorio, as a good Roma fan, knew his job very well and advised us very well. We will repeat on our next trip to Glasgow.

Beautiful interior and the food is also spectacular. The service is quick and friendly, food came out very fast. The pasta portions are massive and both me and my partner couldn’t finish. I recommend the venison ragu and a focaccia to share. This was our second visit and excited to return.

We recently dined at Banca di Roma and had a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning - elegant and sophisticated, yet still warm and inviting. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations thanks Victorio for the great service. Banca di Roma is a true gem in Glasgow. We highly recommend it for a special occasion or a memorable evening out.

We had our work Christmas lunch here in the private dining room. The food was excellent the selection on the festive menu was amazing. The service was on point start to finish. Vitoria who looked after us, nothing was a problem and he offered a great choice of wine. Will be going back soon.

We had a really pleasant dinner and were attended greatly by all waiters and especially Vittorio who was really helpful and kept checking in on us. Food was good, even though we expected the pizza (Giuseppe's Italian sausage) to be a bit richer. But overall a nice experience and would probably be back.

10/10 experience! Booked ages in advance and wasn’t aware Xmas menu would be obligatory until couple of days before we went. It wasn’t suited for our group so we enquired about possibility of using normal menu and were looked after in the best possible way by the lovely Marco! Thank you for being so kind and accommodating and all sorts of lovely Marco, you made our girls night! PS. The food was absolutely gorgeous and very generous portions! Still full from my stunning lasagne last night 😅

Lovely atmosphere but the food let it down. Both my wife and my dishes were medicore. Everything else says top notch. The atmosphere is superb and service is attentive. It's a pity the food was bland. We had starters and main course. Pasta with rage sauce was so disappointing. Wine list was very pricey.

Absolutely incredible family meal for my sister in laws 40th birthday. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive…especially Briony! She made sure our drinks were always topped up and was so friendly and professional Upon serving our family. She also gave us a few laughs with the family. Briony is a huge asset to the team! The food was amazing. Best we have had in an Italian restaurant since we visited Venice! The food was reasonably priced and huge portions. We were ordering champagne for the table and the knowledge about the vintage and vineyards was fab! Thank you so much again for a beautiful meal…and thanks again to Briony for providing excellent service! Would highly recommend…especially to try the fillet steak next time that my partner ordered.

What a lovely time we had at BANCO, the staff in particular Marco ensured we were well cared for, the food was very good and everyone was very attentive. It’s lovely to go somewhere where the staff go the extra mile to ensure we felt special. Will def return,and would recommend you try the place out if it GLASGOW. The building is beautiful and the decor was lovely.

My retirement dinner with my workmates was held here. 17 of us in the mezzanine area. What a great night it was. Food was delicious. A special shout out to our waiter who looked after us all night and kept the drinks flowing.

La gran carbonara para dos es una prueba obligada, servidor mezclado en su mesa y la pasta fresca comienza en el queso pecorino real. Así que amantes del queso cielo. Sabor 10/10 y buen tamaño de porción. Nos saltamos los entrantes y tomamos un poco de pan focaccia fresco. Que fue genial con la pasta. Estábamos absolutamente llenos después. Los precios en el menú son de gama media - alto pero restaurante italiano creo que estándar. El ambiente es frío, elegante y acogedor, tan grande para una reunión íntima. Cargo por servicio ya añadido de 12. 5% que se le indica al hacer la reserva. Definitivamente en un lugar para darse un capricho y probar.

Vittorio is the best, nice service

A diabolical £200 bill. The staff were lovely but I can’t find words to justify spending that amount. Service was slow and the food was lack lustre. I really hoped for a better experience but it’s not worth the hype. Asked for a margarita cocktail and was brought a margherita pizza an hour later.

We booked private dining for daughters 30th the staff especially vittorio and caitlin could not do enough to help out from start to finish. Food spot on. Thank you guys.

12.5% Service charge automatically added to an already extortionate bill. Both starters were pretty tasteless in all honestly. Ordered 2 pastas for our mains and had to ask multiple waiters for parmesan and pepper - was brought 2 salts so had to chase them again for pepper food was cold by the time we could eat it. The place itself though is stunning but can’t see myself ever going back due to the food, service and price.

A truly enchanting location, a refined atmosphere and the most authentic Italian food you can ask for. Especially impressed by the Paccheri ai frutti di mare. They tasted like the ones I normally have on the Amalfi coast. Beautiful cocktail/wine pairing too. One of the best dining experiences I have had in Glasgow.

Banca Di Roma has such a cozy and charming atmosphere!. From the moment you walk in you feel comfortable. Fast and friendly service by Vittorio, he look after us very well. The food was amazing, pleasantly surprised by how affordable this place is! Considering the fresh ingredients and flavourful dishes, you really get more than what you pay for. Highly recommended for those who want a quality meal without breaking the bank.

*2024 update* This restaurant is absolutely outstanding. The ambiance and atmosphere are top-notch, making it an exceptional dining experience. In my opinion, it's the best Italian food in the city! We recently had the pleasure of meeting the head chef, Giuseppe, who shared his story and passion for food and the restaurant, which was a real highlight. I can't recommend this place highly enough and encourage everyone to try the amazing dishes. They also serve a fantastic Sunday roast, which rivals the best in the city. Having tried the roasts at The Lovable Rogue and Glaschu—both excellent—Banca’s is easily among the top. For me this is now one of the top restaurants in Glasgow. Some of the best pasta I have ever had outside of Italy. Wonderful setting and really great staff and service. Would highly recommend.

I’ve always been a fan , recommend to many friends. What I have to say is on the last two occasions the service, waiting on food and the food itself has been below par. I’ve had the same feedback from friends, I do hope it improves but for now I’m giving it a miss.

Second visit here against my better judgement, my friend had booked for a meet up visit to Glasgow. We shared antipasti to start, ‘should have went to Morrisons’ the meat and cheese was supermarket quality at best, grisly and hard cheese. Four of us had pastas with varying levels of poor quality, some undercooked and mushy and mine was so al-dente I nearly lost a tooth, terrible for a so called Italian restaurant. When queried with the staff, was told that’s how it’s made in Italy😱 My friend had the £35 rib eye with extra sides at a substantial extra cost, meat was chewy and not cooked the way they’d asked, totally unacceptable at this price point, Wetherspoons quality. We decided to skip deserts and coffee/ liqueurs, ‘which we never do’, as the rest of the experience was so bad. Instead grabbed a couple of pre mixed espresso martini cans and Cornettos from the shop for the train home. Only good points were the wine and soft drinks as they couldn’t screw them up. Genuinely feel a bit sorry for the staff in here as they look totally dejected, and it’s no wonder with the state of the food they’re dishing up. Will not be back, definitely Never Again!!

Our experience in Banco Di Roma was excellent. It is housed in a stunning building with guests seated for dinner in what I think was the old banking hall. The welcome was really friendly and all of the staff were excellent, showed a real interest in all of us and were excellent at making recommendations, including a waiter who was on his first shift. The food was all excellent for all four of us and the staff made excellent wine recommendations. It was a great dinner.

The pizza wasn’t very nice, cheese didn’t seem melted to me.

Aesthetically, the surroundings are very instagramable. The staff are absolutely lovely. The wine was also lovely but the price is very expensive. The food was ok. All the food is expensive. The dessert - my friends had a hair in it. Mine had a bit of plastic or something in it. It’s really put me off returning. We didn’t broach it with staff, but we probably should have at the time. Just something to keep in mind.

After being turned away from another recently opened and popular city centre establishment as my friend had her newborn breastfed baby (apparently no under 18’s, although the place sold meals!), Banca could not have been more opposite in their service. So welcoming, went above and beyond to help/accommodate the pram, the food and drinks were so great, perfect portion sizes. Honestly couldn’t recommend more, will be back.

Spent the weekend in Scotland and regardless of the different tastings in the different distilleries this truly has been the highlight of our trip. The venue saturday eve was absolutely packed, I genuinely expected trattoria service, however Vitorio has exceeded all our expectations. Service was oustanding, he recommended the lobster linguini and we both loved them. He gave us few tips for our next trip in Scotland and we will genuinely pass by Glasgow once again for the food of course but mostly to be so looked after once again. Visited Banca Di Roma many weeks ago and loved the look of the restaurant and menu so booked a specific table for retirement celebration. We arrived in plenty of time and the table had been given to others. We were sat elsewhere in the restaurant and ordered our food and drinks. The manager made half an attempt to apologise for our table not being reserved. Wine was good but the food was average at best - filet for everyone in the party, very tough and lots of fat on the meat. When I paid the bill additional wine had been added which we hadn’t ordered. All round bad experience and I wouldn’t go back. This happens and you make the most of it but it was such a special occasion that left everyone really disappointed. Raise the bar Banca Di Roma 🙁

Top food & service. Authentic Italian, fresh.

This is a hidden gem in Exchange Square in Glasgow has been there for over a year and did not know about it and passed it many times not knowing it was there. Food outstanding, service amazing and setting luxurious. Great choice of food and selection of drinks all very reasonably priced lunch menu 2courses only £17.95 . Loved it and will definitely be back now we know it’s there. Found our new go to restaurant.

Went here for lunch , service was not great , no atmosphere and over priced bland pasta dishes , would not return . Lots of other Italian restaurants in Glasgow doing it much better .

OMG seriously!!! Don’t waste your money!! Food tasteless and overcooked need to employ an actual ITALIAN chef who can cook and has a palate pasta overcooked and mushy they pass off a pizza base that is focaccia bread the food tbh is rotten and overpriced! Never again

We were in yesterday 10th aug..everything was lovely except where we were seated. Its almost like its an after thought of a group of tables,with no lamps and stuck over next to the door for the toilets. My chair was touching the table behind, and when they sat a young couple there I felt I was sat at their table. When you are seated far into this are its like you are not part of the main resteraunt ad atmosphere. It just needs a bit of thought with some lighting or foliage.

6 of us were able to get a table on a Friday evening before heading back to London. Service was great and the food was very nice. It's a lovely building too

Great place to enjoy the Italian food with excited atmosphere. Surprised me the reviewers didn’t give high rating without known the reasons.

We went for a birthday celebration and we were looking forward to it, will not be back unfortunately. The food was good very enjoyable just like most restaurants in Glasgow however the service extremely let it down. We waited nearly 40 minuets to get a drink, over an hour for food and then had to ask 3 separate times for the bill. Eventually we just took it up to the front desk as we had been waiting so long. Each server we asked completely disregarded our request and one actually went straight to another table to have a conversation with someone therefore we had to ask again after 15 minuets for our bill. Truly made myself and my partner feel very small and horrible. The girl at the front desk was absolutely lovely when we had said what had happened as we understand things can get busy but in this case I believe it was just poor service.

Was very disappointing service all round, my friend was treating me with her £100 voucher , we turned up at 3.30pm & was told they didn't have a reservation until 9.30pm which was our fault for not booking prior , once outside we went onto their website and discovered we can eat out outside but weren't offered that , booked that for 3.45 pm , turned up and given our table we then asked if we can use our voucher & the gentleman who attended to us said he would check & come back to us which he didn’t, we sat for 15 mins without anyone coming out to us , ordered a bottle of red wine salmon & steak for myself the waiter brought our dinner out & my friends mash potatoes were stone cold we weren't issued any cutlery or condiments which he then organised for us , we were told by the waiter that we would receive salad with our meal which we didn't have either, noticed a couple next to us who ended up leaving as they waited to long to get attended too . Downstairs toilets were out of order too ! really looking forward dining here bit wouldn't rush back .

1st impressions - You think WOW this is going to be special…. But this reaction soon dipped once the service became. The ordering of drinks were fine. And i must command the Sommelier he was fantastic at helping us pick our wine. He showed real knowledge and was professional at the picking, tasting and pouring of the wine. If it wasnt for him the review would of been even less…. The waiter who took the order came over cold, aggresive and lacked total intrest. Starters were lovely really have to say how tasty the Crocchetta di cavolfiore were to die for. We were left sitting for over 30mins between the starter and the main course while tables around us who came in after us had starters and were onto their mains…. I had to actually to get the attention of the waiting staff before we got our mains. The foccaccia was cold and dried and it was obvs it had just been left under one of the lights in the kitchen….. I must say my Lamb ragu was very tasty but again i had to ask for cutlery… My freind has the Lasagna Verde this arrived cold but also burnt around the sides again it looked like it had just been left sitting in the kitchen. No real geniune apploligy for the delay it came over more aggressive than sorry. The lasgane was so poor it was unable to be eaten. The waiting staff just took it away Coffee & Liquers… limonchello should be served straight from the freezer - it most defo was not. Once the bill came they had taken the lasagne off - which was kind of them… but they also added a rather large service charge on it….. To me seems bizare as they know how bad the service had been. If your paying £18.00 for a lasagne then your expecting service to match the price tag….. Which is just not the case. Poor show overal from this place…….

I had a wonderful experience here at Bancia Di Roma, it was so quick, easy and efficient to book the reservation. Upon arrival we were greated by the most welcoming and kindest man at reception. He was so attentive and knowledgeable. His service was 15/10 which you can clearly see rubs off on the other staff, as the evening couldn’t have been better. The food was outstanding and the wine was delicious. I will 100% be back!

Went Saturday night for my birthday after waiting half an hour for our drinks the food wasn’t the best to be honest not one person came over to ask if our food was ok when our drinks where finished. We had to wait again when we asked for the bill The girl came over then asked how was our food we told her the experience wasn’t that great and in her own words said OH Well would definitely not recommend so much better places in Glasgow don’t get my wrong The decor is nice

We were fortunate to get a seat here without a booking on a Saturday afternoon. The service was nice and the atmosphere was good - the decor is lovely and feels quite grand. We shared two small plates to start, which were ok. Overall, the food was underwhelming - my friend and I both ordered a pizza which was advertised as having tenderstem broccoli as a topping. However, it was just plain old broccoli and in fact tasted microwaved and a bit bland. Otherwise a nice enough experience but the food maybe a little overpriced for what it is.

The waitress said there was no table available, but I immediately made a reservation successful from Google, and she told me that she had not received the information.Even I accepted a 20 pound reservation penalty they don’t allow me in. I asked her that in an hour, the web page also showed that seats could be reserved, and the reservation interface showed that the seats inside were available. The two waiters discussed to throw me to the outside position, however I understand English, and then they told me that you can only do the outside, but obviously the inside is available, either the restaurant management update information is wrong, or they are racist to me. The waitress kept looking rude and impatient, pressing her pen also. She also said that I didn't get the email, that I didn't ask for my email when I made the reservation, made me fill out my card and PIN number, and asked me to pay a twenty pound security deposit to guarantee to come, apparently the waitress was very unfamiliar with the business, and so assured that I can understand and sympathize with your stubbornness and your limited knowledge. The reservation system at this restaurant is so bad that I gave my real name when I made the reservation and answered it when the waiter asked me, but the waiter called me that night to say that I had made the reservation under my Google account name and it was successful. I have two questions about this. If my reservation proves they were available, why did the waitress tell me the reservation was full? Since I put in my real name and it shows the name of the Google account, how does the consumer know which name to provide? And I also specified the time I booked. Is it difficult to find the corresponding information during this time period? The problem is actually that they don't want to serve me, the waitresses have been reluctant and impatient, no matter how much I argue I'm pretty sure of that. In addition, I have never seen a restaurant harassing the guests by phone at 10 PM after receiving the review, trying to blame me for the reason. I stressed that I asked you five or six times to find the information and my reservation was successful, but they did not ask for my mobile phone number, just the name, and I told them the name I used to book, now they blame and try to blame me for the problem, and even though I didn't make the reservation, did you have to be so impatient to get rid of me? Obviously, at that time they just wanted to drive me away without patience. I still remember the waitres rolling her eyes and telling me that you couldn't make a reservation without mail, but I am pretty sure the website actually not required the email, so then why are you telling me I am successed without email now? The waiter asked me back to the restaurant to see if my Google account name was displayed. Please, this is your system problem. Why am I wasting my time? Your system, management and timely update of information are very problematic. Moreover, I successfully reserved a table inside the restaurant, but you told me that even if I had to wait for another hour, I could only sit outside, and it was raining heavily. If I knew I had to sit outside, I could not make a reservation. I booked a seat on the inside successful but you only let me sit on the outside, which is not discrimination I can't figure out. I've been to a lot of fine restaurants in London and other cities and I don't think you can compare them in terms of price and quality, and even fine restaurants have never had anything like this happen. They kept trying to get me to leave, and when I left, I could only say that if you took my money, I would come back, and the waiter was still very firm and said that it was impossible to take your money because you didn't succeed. Instead of apologizing for their rude impatience and wrong work, they are now calling to accuse me, I am not your employee, and as a consumer I refuse to cheat me in this restaurant by only allowing me to sit outside and eat on a rainy day.

Went with a friend and saw mixed reviews but needn’t have worried . Staff were friendly. A handsome wine waiter came over with our wine and I checked it wasn’t the £100 wine I’d seen on menu lol . Potions were very ample. I had the zucchini fritti followed by parmigiana which was the best I’ve ever had even in Italy - I couldn’t finish the delicious Itiramisu. Highly recommended 👍👍

Very good delicious food. Service is very better. The man thing inside place is amazing. But very very expensive. I request to owner please don't mind you have to less price your food. Thanks

Style over substance. Nice setting, food very medicore (starter was almost cold) The "suits" had good service, the younger waiters need more training imho. 12.5% service fee is a joke!

Today we had an 'afternoon tea' at the very stylish Banca di Roma. What a delightful experience, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Beautifully arranged with generous, tasty sandwich fillings including a chicken with chilli jam, and cakes including a fresh fruit tarte with chantilly cream, everything homemade and presented with edible flowers. We thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you.

Beautiful building, but far too big for a restaurant. Lacked atmosphere and intimacy. Food was nothing to get excited about and menu was pretty basic. Toilet was upstairs and quite a long way from our table. Almost required a map and compass! For an establishment that was so large I was somewhat taken aback at there only being one toilet for males and females. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

An excellent boutique of Italian cuisine, characterized by a traditional and very elegant touch. Highly recommended!

Food was amazing and staff were brilliant. Watch out for the high service charge though.
