Near empty restaurant. Unhelpful, unfriendly staff member. Only one vegan option. No soya milk or any alternatives. Food was mediocre. Real disappointment. Had come here before when it had just opened. Was impressed but sadly it was not the same. Everwhere else was packed and buzzing.

THEY WONT EVEN GIVE CHILDREN TAP WATER!!!! Rude rude. Unwelcoming to kids. My kids got noodles from chopsticks and I wanted to eat here. I ordered, they asked if I wanted to sit in. Saw the noodles bowl in my hand and offered me to sit down, I said no I’ll just take it for takeaway. Then they say it’ll take a while and I should sit. My kids too hungry ask to eat. Then I get my fries and I ask if I can get a dip, instead their ‘manager’ says my kids can’t eat here. And I’m like why? He says they may have allergies and I will be responsible since they’re eating at my restaurant. Vague and nonsense excuses, why would I give my kids food that they’re allergic to? He says I don’t know that. I said well I know. I’m their mother. Honestly. Disappointing. This is the only day I get to spend with them, and this is how we were treated. Got refund for my fries tho. Won’t eat in a place that don’t want my kids in.

We both enjoyed the Greek food (which we don't usually see in this part of the world). Service was excellent with a helpful and friendly waitress (Joanna). The only minor detriment was that it is a bit open plan in a shopping mall, though this made no difference to our enjoyment.

We came here as my cousin had been before and was raving about the halloumi popcorn......it was superb. Staff very friendly and gave recommendations i got the lamb meatball souvlaki wrap and I scoffed it down! I'll be back soon

A friend and myself booked a pre Christmas dinner catch up on 7/12/24 for 5pm. There were plenty of tables available (great in my view,not too crowded that you can't hear yourself!). Our waitress was a lovely,pleasant young girl named Joanna. She took our order and was very polite. She also recommended our dessert (orange cake with vanilla ice cream),which was indeed delicious. The food was lovely,and the side dishes were nicely presented on a 3 tier plate stand. We really enjoyed the Real Greek,and will probably return at some point. Good service,reasonably priced,and not too busy.

Everything cooked to perfection, absolutely beautiful food, and arrived nice and hot. Halloumi popcorn was absolutely out of this world. Not one soggy chip either, nice and crisp. 10/10

Decided to go here for lunch today and it was super delicious and a great sized portion for the lunch deal. Our 2 servers today, John and Joanna especially made the meal better with their smiles and friendliness. Will definitely be back :)

We had high hopes but ended up really dissapointed. The food itself was very subpar and not what we were expecting given the other reviews. There was 2 tables in including us and yet the service was slow and not very enthusiastic. Overall, a very overpriced restaurant with very bland and dissapointing food.

Food was great servers were very kind only negative was the lack of other people in the restaurant but overall a very good establishment.

I went to this restaurant as I’ve never tried a Greek restaurant and it didn’t disappoint! Kirsten was extremely friendly, well mannered and recommended the lamb meatballs and again these didn’t disappoint. Would definitely recommend.

We waited half an hour when the restaurant was completely dead for them to bring a pitifully small overprice wrap over. When we complained the supervisor just argued with us and offered no apologies. We sent the food back and went to MacTassos where portions were bigger, the service was instant and it was much cheaper!

The Real Greek is a lovely Greek restaurant in Silverburn. Today, was our third visit. We are never disappointed by the food or the service. We're always greeted so warmly by the staff and we find the staff are all pleasant and attentive. This is a good marker for excellent customer service, which is something I appreciate. There is a lovely array of food on the menu and we always enjoy the food and the flavours. Excellent all round.

Lovely friendly welcome by Minnie. First time eating Greek food, it was so refreshing. Will be back.

Absolutely wonderful, the food was delicious and the staff was really wonderful.

Pretty average and overpriced for what it is. I got a chicken souvlaki and the chicken was cooked well, but there were hardly any fillings and it was quite flavourless. For what it is, it took them forever to make it. Just not really worth it.

Visited this restaurant a few weeks ago and had lunch. Really enjoyed it. Excellent service from Joanna, food was delicious and restaurant had a nice relaxing atmosphere to it. Enjoyed it so much, we are heading back for an evening meal before we go to a concert in Glasgow.

First time for us at the Real Greek and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Great service from Eilidh during our visit. We hadn't eaten Greek before, however Eilidh was able to help us out. We all had Souvlaki wraps with chicken, sausage and lamb in different wraps with chips and houmous on the side. Tasted great and good portion sizes. We'll be back to try more on the menu.

On 24/09/2024, my wife and I visited the Silverburn shopping centre and we were trying to decide on where to go for lunch. We decided to have lunch at The Real Greek restaurant. We were greeted by our host, Joanna, who showed us to our table and present us with our menus. The dining choices on the menu were straightforward and easy to understand. We both decided to opt for the set lunch menu at a very reasonable £12.99. When our host brought our food to the table, the portions that we received were very generous and very good value for money. The food was also very well prepared and presented. We have dined in a number of Greek restaurants over the years ,and I have to say that our dining experience at The Real Greek, Silverburn, is up there with the best. Keep up the good work guys.

The tub of halloumi fries wasn’t even half full, the Greek salad had next to no feta in it (and baby tomatoes???), the aubergine side had hardly anything in the box. Overall, disappointing and expensive.

Stopped by for a quick meal on lunch time and was really impressed with the food. Was warmly greeted by a big guy think he was the manager but was really helpful in talking us through the menu he even through in a few Greek works to make the experience. Well done big guy 🫡

Service was really bad. The place was near empty on a Saturday night which is a red flag. Stood waiting to be seated while a staff member was too busy looking at her phone. The boy that eventually seated us clearly didnt want to be there. We left without even trying the food.

A quick bite to eat after going to the cinema. Restaurant was quiet but food and service was good. Souvlaki wraps were delicious just wished i had ordered 2.

Tried the real Greek for the 1st time. Never gave us lunch menus, had to ask for them. Food was fine but the hummus there was a weird after taste. Servers were fine except 1 who looked like he just didn't want to be there. He brung our food out on a tier thing and it landed in my wee ones drink and then just left it balancing on a plate🤣. They also put a 10 percent "optional" service charge on your bill which you certainly aren't given an option when paying by card.

The food is good, the fava hummus is good, but be prepared to pay extra for the bread and extra for the service!

The meal was delicious and reasonably priced, although it was slightly too oily for my taste. The staff were courteous, and the ambience was agreeable. It is conveniently located within a shopping centre that offers complimentary parking and is wheelchair accessible as well.

Visited the restaurant last Friday (21st) for the first time with my daughter. The calamari and lamb meatballs were amazing! I’m a little fussy with food and Stevie the server took time to go through the menu with me and recommended items that he thought I would enjoy. I’m so glad he did because the food was fantastic. I’ll be sure to visit again on my next visit to silver burn, thank you Stevie! Hopefully see you again.

We didn't eat there because it wasn't open yet. But the owner came and she was very friendly. If the food is as good as the lady in the restaurant, there is nothing wrong with that. Next time we are there we will definitely eat there.

Food was cold when it arrived. Delivery came on a bike so that may have made the food colder. No sauce with halloumi bites or chips.

Food was decent enough however, its the top end of the scale in terms of pricing. I was £30 for 3 plates. My Haloumi was ment to have a drizzle on it but even Columbo wouldnt be able to find it. £7.95 aswell. 2nd The Souvlaki Wrap was very good indeed, the flatbed was superb and chicken was decent. Deffo recommend that, however for me at £8 the chicken wings were a major let down, tasted like they were just heat up instead of fried (where you tend to get great crispy skin) had better wings from KFC and cheaper. All in all it was ok but I certainly wont be rushing back, value just wasent there for me. Service charge didnt bother me as much as I was made aware of it and I always leave a tip anyways.

We went for lunch & the menu is very extensive - maybe even too much for lunch? Anyway the place was virtually empty but it was fairly early so that didn't worry me too much & we'd been thinking of trying it out for a wee while. Despite being virtually empty, the service was really slow from when we said no thank you to the olives & ordered a soft drink each. We didn't order anything too wild: my partner ordered the Moussaka (which is apparently the house special) with a side of fries; I ordered a chicken skewer with a side of a tomato bulgar wheat thing. The food was brought on a 3 tier cake stand type effort. Gimmicky & probably in an effort to disguise the tiny portions! Smaller plates sitting atop slightly larger plates all to give the illusion of a lunchtime feast but it was far from it! The food was decent, it has to be said, though definitely not the best I've had. The slice of Moussaka was so small and in fact I've had a better Moussaka from a Tesco Finest ready meal. The skewer was nothing special, the bulgar wheat tomato thing was OK but it's a poor showing when the tastiest part of the meal was the side of fries! The meal was very over-priced too: £9 for that one skewer which was about 6 inches long with 4 bits of chicken is just ridiculous! I could have mentioned this at the time but i really didn't want to be seen as greedy - even though all I wanted was a fair sized portion relative to the price?! To top this they added an "optional" service charge to the bill?! Cheeky swines! The service was standard at best & we should have been given the option of whether to pay the "optional" charge and not potentially have the embarrassment of asking them to remove it?! We didn't, we paid, we left and will never be back. I'd urge caution when considering this place & wouldn't advise going when you're hungry unless you have plenty to spend on numerous dishes!!

Lamb meatballs and rice was horrible, meatballs overcooked and bland, just a tin of chopped tomatoes over it as a “sauce” and the rice was so watery, most of it’s been binned

Delivery was missing halloumi fries, everything else was cold and the beer was warm, pretty disappointing all round.

Food very average, service wasn't great. Got my order wrong and then waited another 25 minutes for my correct order. Glass was filthy and then tried to add 10% service charge on. Won't be back. Extremely overpriced. This place won't last long in silverburn.

Been here several times and enjoyed the food from lunch set menu, however on Mon. Bank Holiday set menu was taken off (Rip off Brian).Had a la carte and was good, you shouldn't have to pay for flat bread to go with your £6.50 Dip also 1 chicken screwed at £9 plus £4.70 for chips OR rice.

The first two times we have been to the real Greek the food was great and the service was amazing. However we went in a few weeks ago and service was poor and food was cold this was swiftly fixed and today we thought we would try again. This was the worst mistake we made. We ordered an array of food and whilst eating the the chicken skewers I noted to my husband and mum that they didn’t taste right (I had also given one to my 11 month old). When I cut it open I was absolutely appalled that they were undercooked pink. I took the plate over to our waited and showed him - he was so apologetic and said he would get a manager as I was standing there waiting for him I started getting shouted at by the chef who had assumed I had brought the plate to the pass to show him which was absolutely not the case. The staff member then brought out two ‘supervisors’ who were both adamant the chicken was not undercooked at all but they would refund it both were full of attitude and just not understanding that it wasn’t about the refund but rather the fact i had fed this to my young child and that this was serious and could really cause her to get really ill. They kept saying the chicken was definitely cooked and chicken can look like that sometimes as if I was some sort of idiot who doesn’t make my own chicken and know what undercooked chicken looks like - from the picture you can see straight away the chicken is cooked from the outside but the texture shows that it is definitely undercooked on the inside. Long story short I said I wouldn’t be paying for the meal as I was absolutely livid at being told constantly that our pink chicken was not undercooked and they threatened to call security on us rather than try to sort it out. I will definitely not be back and will also take this further. Place is a joke and should be shut down especially if their chefs and supervisors don’t know what undercooked chicken looks like. UPDATE : Safe to say a couple of days later we have all have all been very ill avoid at all costs.

We had the Calamari to share and then both had the Chicken Wraps. The Calamari unfortunately was overcooked and a little rubbery. The wraps were excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed them. Be aware though they do add a service charge to the bill automatically if you're planning leaving a tip.

The food taste and quality was disgusting. The beans way too salty and poorly packed in a carton container which was liking. Who packs a runny dish like that!! The chicken was tasteless and poorly cooked rather uncooked and the rice a lot to be desired. The chi ken wings don't even mention it! Salty and way too spicy nothing greeck about them. The only dish that's not a dish that presentes eatable looks and taste were the chips...something that is not a priority on my food list. Prices are steep for what is offering. Needless to say I threw everything after tasting ..I had a handful of chips as I was very hungry. I stepped on to my greek heart to order from this establishment now no wonder is empty every time I pass and Wagamama is full! They must do something right. Happy Easter!

£35 grill platter plus drinks-£45 total waste of money. The meat was not well cooked and the beef, lamb and pork was to hard to chew.

The food was dreadful, it was dry with hardly any meat. I've never had such a bad pitta before. No tzatziki either. We got three mini pieces of meat in our pittas, it was horrible and didn't taste like Greek food at all. I hate leaving negative reviews but whoever prepared our pittas should know they did a rubbish job by putting hardly anything in them and no sauce. The order was not only late but also very disappointing.

The real Greek???? Yes, well... i am not sure how the place has 4.3 stars. 1.3 maybe.... food TERRIBLE. Only the main waiter was good who had been left to do everything. The others were just incompetent and rude. Olives and beer were nice (probablty because there was no human intervention). Pork wrap, practically empty and tasteless. Moussaka was a disgrace except if you have never had before. You could taste only pepper. Dolmades tasteless as well. If you want Greek food you have a lot of better options that this. What a waste of time and money! 😡
