Ali's Original in Glasgow City

My daughter loves the donner hoagie...lots in it weighs a ton would do two people. Got the spicy chicken n chips..now I love spicy madras etc but this was on another level. Two mouthfuls and my lips were stinging. Had salad with it and topped it with mayo to try and cool it down. Think you need to bring the spice levels down a bit guys just a tad too much. Anyways enjoyed the meal.

Everything was fab except the nan bread. it was flat and crispy. More like a giant crisp.

The food was cold when it arrived the chips were reheats most of it wejt in the bin because no one would eat it spent nearly £40 wont be ordering anything from here again

Nearly 2 hours to delivery turns out the driver ordered to wrong address !

It said order delivered but no one was outside and neither was my food, not really happy about that to be honest with you, ordered food last night and said it would be here between 9:40-10:20pm and i still never seen anyone outside or received a call

No sauce on the wrap even though it says it has sauce on it wen called they said u had to ask for sauce

Ordered at 6.50pm, it’s now 9.20pm and no order. Phoned the shop 3 times, twice they were still waiting on a driver and now it’s out for delivery. Will never order from here again, absolute joke!

Order pakora and get kebab sauce. Pakora in bin. Give people pakora sauce with pakora and kebab sauce with kebab. It’s simple

Its only take away. But amazing delicious halal food on a very much reasonable price. Difficult to get parking outside dyring day time and its always busy. You can give order on call and go to pick up.

I have ordered loads from hear and it's all been lovely and early delivery however I have never tried a curry yet. I got a chicken korma which was really really watery I asked for a garlic nan the nan was so thin and fell apart soon as touched it and there was no garlic on it. disappointed tonight with curry.

the lamb was very fatty and curry sauce was watery . the rice was nice and the nan bread was good. chicken cha was lovely.

food was absolutely delicious 🤤. my daughter had the kids fish and chips and she is a fussy eater and always funny about someone cooking her fish and chips. she has cleared the box and she says she wants to eat out of their every day. if only I had the money to get a takeaway every day😂😂. my son loved his chicken nuggets and chips, honestly both kids say the food was cooked to perfection. my missus got the chicken goujons and chips and she loves it. i love what I had I am limited to 500 words

Very quick delivery but food was cold. I ordered a donner kebab meal and received a donner kebab, no chips, no can of juice! I have been a customer since you opened but the service & quality has really gone downhill, unfortunately. I will be looking elsewhere from now on, such a shame.

Ali's have changed their recipe for their naan bread that they are using with their kebabs, they don't taste nice, they taste stale.

Ordered for my sons birthday everything came fresh and hot everyone loved the food plenty to go round with loads left over

I ordered a mixed kebab, I got a pizza, I called the restaurant with the wrong order and they brought me the wrong order again, but my children were hungry so we ate the wrong order, the food was delicious, mistakes happen, nothing bad

pizza was lovely as usual the shish kebab was poor though first time ordered it and only 2 small pieces of lamb.

Food was great as always but I have to agree with another reviewer about your chips, they are disgusting! I have been a customer for years and remember your chips used to be great, please please go back to them as the chips you are serving now are the only thing letting you down.

The mushroom pakora were so nice! Roasting when they arrived. Doner meat was lovely but the chips aren’t nice at all. Hard skinny chips that had probably been reheated zero flavour. Please go back to regular chips please!

Absolutely the best Tandoori mixed grill I've had in a long time,Meat Charred on the corners,Curry sauce superb,Rice great,Nan great, Salad fresh,late posting but got in from work and was so hungry,don't know why but this place is so much better than 6 months ago.12 out if 10👌

Couldn’t eat it. Got a large chicken pakora. Small pieces, very dry, very hard. Looked and tasted awful. Went in the bin. Worst pakora have ever had anywhere.

Some wee guy in this shop supports Rangers and talks a lot self-explanatory food is ok though.

food from Ali's is usually first class, but my dinner tonight was very disappointing, for £12.50 I ordered their Tandoori Chicken, when it came there was 2 of the smallest breast of chicken that i've ever seen also the chicken was very dry! I don't like giving bad reviews but I felt this one was justified, come Ali's get it together as your food is usually top notch!!

Just got my delivery and it was cold can't eat it and cost me over 30 pound,,, ridiculous and I'm raging never again will I call them !!!! Think twice before ordering off them😡😡

Everything was amazing tasting and quality. They forgot donner off our order but we called the restaurant and they couldnt be any nicer. Delivered our missing item within 20 mins as restaurant near and the customer service couldnt be better. Mistakes happen to us all but handled amazingly. We were happy for refund but they went above and beyond to deliver and once donner got here was incredible!

Pizza turned up stone cold. Coleslaw on the baked tattie was just kebab cabbage in a mayonnaise. Very poor standard of food won’t order again
