Starbucks Central Station in Glasgow City

One of the worst starbucks I have been to. The drinks are not made very well. Take away only, it's a little hut in the station so it doesn't have as big a selection as normal stores.

Ryan and Colby were my servers, very friendly and made my drink exactly how I ordered it :)

asked for a maple and caramel iced coffee frap and got a pumpkin spiced cream based frap. was already on the train when I noticed so couldn't go back! didn't even get my points for the drinks I got either 🙄 the guy said pumpkin spice frap and I said I didn't order that I ordered maple and caramel and he assured me he just said it wrong he had a busy day but it was what I wanted and apologised for saying it wrong but nope! he didn't say it wrong he gave me the wrong drink! I told him I 100% did not like the pumpkin spice. some kind of sick joke at my expense.

Slow service for an Outrageously expensive broth. I paid 7 pounds for two drinks to take away and in mine there wasn't even the shadow of a coffee. I'm giving 1 star because I'm feeling generous.

Very friendly staff even when under pressure from technical difficulties.

You know that feeling where you want a REAL cup of coffee made by a Barista that actially can tell the difference between a mocha and a latte, plus can make it without taking so long you miss your train and lose the will to live ... right? Well these are the canines lower extremities of take away coffee - pleasant, professional, laid back and mucho pronto - when I need the best cup of Joe in town I skip that Costa lot, Oh No Not 'Nero' and the Slow Dark Woody Coffee hut ... there are imitators but this is the original and still the best - check it out, all you need to do is find the sign of the acrobatic mermaid that states 'Starbacks'. The staff are stars and the Central Station booth legendary ... believe bro. Come, laugh st the drunks, dodge the beggars and listen to the thousands of Scotrail "important messages" - then enjoy the best coffee by a Central mile .... it's coffee science nothing to do with rockets.

Terrible coffee. Burnt and watery. Both me and my husband ended up pouring our Americanos down the drain. Worst Starbucks outlet I've ever seen.

This one is at Glasgow central station. When you head over to platform no.1&2. Busy outlet. Enjoyed hot Americano..!

Poor service service staff flirting with customers and we are in the queue for over 5 minutes. When my turn come I said I need it in next 5 minutes he said (bald head ) fellow said he got too many to make so cannot make one in 5 Minutes

The staff were so kind and helpful it made my day. If only every Starbucks could be as kind and welcoming as this one. Thanks for the great drink and even better service

The service in this Starbucks is typically warm and friendly, welcoming you to (or consoling you before leaving) the city of Glasgow. The coffee is, yes, very decidedly Starbucks flavour. The variety of drinks is, yes, very impressive for a tiny unit - which can often house up to five packed-in employees! But, like, that's about it.. it's convenient and it's sometimes faster than going elsewhere. That's all. It's a modern kind of production-line-café that is much better than a vending machine (thanks to the lovely staff!) but doesn't really do much else to mark it's spirit of place - at the gateway to/from Scotland and Glasgow no less! If I was going to spend £3.40 on a regular Latte, which I do so very reluctantly anyway, I think I would much prefer to celebrate Gordon Street Coffee at the station entrance.. It's 20p more expensive (at time of writing), but it's LOCAL, and the place buzzes with Scottishness and graffiti-like celebrations of Glasgow culture. Profits don't go to Seattle, they go to South Lanarkshire. This isn't to plug Gordon Street especially, that's just the closest, there are indie coffee joints of supreme quality right across the city.! If you've time, go explore instead. If you're local, support your local! In a city with such an unexpectedly thriving coffee culture, indeed such a thriving city culture, Starbucks at Central station falls short of the mark ONLY in that... I can go to a bland chain like this literally anywhere in the world. Bang in the centre of central station, after long journeys North or cross-city commutes to work, I always find myself asking; who is there to welcome me home? Staff lovely though, five stars for service!

Bit pricey but coffee is the best. Latte is excellent

Usually close to a bank or building society. So you can arrange a loan to pay their prices. Ridiculous.

Had to take out a second mortgage after buying one of your large coffees... I guess I'll just invest in a coffee machine. Although it's expensive, it does taste good.

Why am I reviewing a Starbucks in a train station....? Because these guys have the coffee, music and service with a smile that made a recent trip via Central Station a great experience!

Got served by a girl today who stared at me in silence as I apologised for dropping my money when putting it in her hand (40p) to which she grudgingly took out of the tips jar. I would have been happy to give her another 40p but manners cost nothing and clearly she doesn’t have any

Drink are not that hot. They do not take names and it unclear when your drink it ready. Could do with customer service training.

Such handy location! Especially when changing between trains. Very friendly :) And they take Starbucks card/app so many others don't anymore.

It's a Starbucks, so you know what you're getting. I do credit them for increasing and improving their menu. The staff were nice and friendly. I was happy.

Worst coffee I've ever had and was hardly any in it

Lady who took our order was far more interested in events taking place in central station to make eye contact with me when i was placing my order. I found this rude. Received my order which on tasting was lukewarm at best.

I personally have no issue with this kiosk, they know my face and order which is awesome. But to hear that the American lady that works there had the audacity to tell my friend that she pronounces her OWN NAME wrong is disgusting. How dare you. This has really brought now my estimation of this branch.

Has just completely ruined my morning by not listening to the proper coffee order. Am now stuck on a train without a coffee - thanks for that excellent service
