In Glasgow for the night and found Curry Cottage near to our hotel. Just what we needed. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommended. Recommend the haggis pakora starter!
KoolBa is very high on the list of great Indian Restaurants in Glasgow. Indian food can be on the heavy side but at KoolBa it is generous portions, fresh and light without losing any of the flavours. The menu has all the usual favourites and a good number of slightly different dishes. The staff are first class and the surroundings are very comfortable. I highly recommend.
Porter and Rye exceeded all expectations!
The starters, aged steaks and sides were phenomenal, and the drinks and coffee were equally impressive.
Jenny, our server, provided exceptional service and truly made our evening special. It's evident that the staff here are passionate about creating a memorable dining experience.
I would highly recommend Porter and Rye to anyone looking for a top-notch meal in Glasgow!
The best pizza in town, I’ve been to many places in Italy and ate a lot of pizzas so I know what I’m talking about.
I would really like a ball pizza with fish and pizza 4 cheeses and ideally with truffles❤️
The pizza is still tasty but I felt more ( as the Americans would say) nickel and dimed. To explain- the place was once cheap and cheerful. Now, however, 3 of us spent £120 for a pizza each, 2 starters between the 3 of us, one cocktail and one glass of wine each. Example of a slightly greedy approach...£2.50 extra for a wee pot of garlic mayo which is just too much. House wine now £25 per bottle. So go by all means but your bill will mount up unless you have only a Margherita pizza and a glass of water and who is going to do that!!??
Another fantastic meal at Cafe Tibo- I went for the Stornoway eggs Benedict (I think that was it) and it was so delicious I couldn’t eat another thing all day! Service was friendly, genuine and courteous! Can’t wait for return!
This venue participates in Ticket Price gauging.
Was going to a show today, was about to pay £16 and just after 6pm the price jumped up to £22 plus the ticket fee which is £2.50.
I called up to ask why this happens and they said that they do this for all the shows after 6pm.
Why?
Absolute joke.
I was going to go there and buy multiple drinks before, during and after the show but now I won't go.
