The food is authentic, excellent quality and waiting staff attentive and welcoming. Dim sum menu is mouth-watering and extensive. I will return regularly.

waiting well over an hour , noodles came all stuck together along with rice , worse “chinese” I’ve ever tried , won’t be back! Funny smell coning from the noodles and other containers

We love Costa. Probably our first choice for coffee. Unfortunately the service in this particular Costa branch is the worst. Staff ignored the guest and very rude. Act like they don’t care in service. Busy with chit chatting.

My first venture into this local sandwich bar, as recommended by colleagues - great selection of food, at very reasonable prices. I opted for baked potato with 1 filling and no butter, whilst the potato was well cooked and the filling was both tasty and ample my preference would have been for the potato to be fluffed up inside as opposed to simply sliced open. This not only allows the filling to mix better but allows it to be eaten easier especially when using disposable cutlery. This is a small criticism, easily rectified that can make a huge difference.

The sauce was pasta sauce with chilli powered in it. The kebab tasted like it was a week old. The food was terrible and made me feel like after it. The prices in the menu are not the prices they will charge you. This is not worth your time or money. But it’s a good laugh it u like laughing at terrible food

Así que uno llegó allí de muy mal humor. Sin embargo, el ambiente del lugar era insuperable y el personal fue increíblemente atento y dispuesto a explicar todo lo que pedí. No estábamos bebiendo alcohol y se permitió una sustitución. Los pasteles y bollos eran todos pequeños, pero dieron una gran oportunidad para probar los diversos sabores y el servicio y la presentación fue de un nivel increíblemente alto. No tenía idea sobre el valor, ya que me unía a un amigo que había recibido un cupón de regalo, pero todo estaba cubierto por el cupón. Una buena experiencia que consideraría repetir.

Nous sommes rentrés par hasard car nous cherchions de quoi nous couper la faim vers 13H sans manger trop gras et nous avons été séduit par leur proposition de « hot sandwiches ». J’ai pris le Valérie Club et Jeremy a pris le Croque Monsieur. Et c’était DÉLICIEUX. Frais, savoureux. Le personnel était très sympa. Le lieu est très simple et sobre, mais les toilettes étaient très propres et modernes. N’hésitez pas à y faire un tour pour un repas plus simple, à la française et pas trop lourd.

I have never eaten better pastries than at the Bostock, both in East Linton and North Berwick. Everything is delicious - ignore bad reviews and try this place. The worst that will happen is you will become an addict like me which will cost you a small fortune!!

Oh my god this was literally the best chips i’ve ever had in my life everyone should go here i will go here all the time honestly please go get all the spices get all the sauces i promise

Great student study place. Plenty of space and wifi with decent food and drink, all you could ever need as a student really.

Myself & my friend visited blackhall today,as we walked in we were both greeted with a lovely goodmorning from both your staff,the coffee & cake was delicious 😋 after coffee I needed a card & the lady was very helpful at helping me to find a card I needed,when I got served the girl serving me was very chatty,both staff are very nice & have always got smiles on their faces,it's so nice to see this when walking into a coffe shop,we will be sure to return.

Had a take away to night and had had a sit meal in a few weeks ago, on both occasions the mains were great. Way better than previous meals, must be a change in the kitchen.

Called here for the rugby match midday. Seating area was untidy and very cramped. You had to get a code for the toilet which frustrated other customers. Wont be going here again.

This is quite possibly the nicest Starbucks on the globe - and we’ve been to a fair few. The staff are just lovely, they treat us like old friends. The layout is quirky but cool. The location, Stockbridge, is the best in Edinburgh. It’s getting renovated right now and we miss it so much. See you soon!😘
