Super sweet, saving my dog ​​from the one o'clock gun. He was so distracted with sweet dog chocolate that he didn't even notice the gunshot. The chocolate (for humans 😂) is incredibly good! And the milkshake is a dream.

We stayed in Edinburgh for 3 nights and ate here every night!! Great food, welcoming staff and top notch customer service, Hubert and his staff are top-notch!!! Along with the exceptional customer service, the drinks were tasty, the oysters were some of the best we’ve ever had, the octopus was the most tender we’ve ever had and you can’t go wrong with any of the side dishes. If ever in Edinburgh, do yourself a favor and visit Hubert and his staff!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

From start to finish you are treated with the most warm and welcoming care. The food is incredible. The crab and bread, kingfish and chocolate mousse I couldn’t recommend more - I wasn’t the biggest fan of the salad but probably just because I tend to prefer a less sweet palate. Tried the wine and ‘snake tree’ cocktail: both delicious. And the most important thing to note - great place to come for coeliacs and gluten intolerances as they have a whole separate menu and did not react to any cross contamination so know they take it seriously. If you’re visiting Edinburgh come visit and make sure you try the mousse!

Oct 2022 - OMG yes I highly recommend this eatery. I think I ate dinner here 4+ times out of the week. The employees were friendly and attentive. I tried different items off the menu, but I must admit I always went back to the pizza. That dough and the way they hand make it were stupendous. They also offer gluten-free penne and spaghetti. Great location and the prices were reasonable, hence the multiple trips there. Oh oh they make their own beer, I had multiple Hopo Lagers. I believe they have 4 that they craft. Great choice for lunch or dinner. You can join their rewards program too and receive discounts, just mention it to the servers and they will adjust the bill.

We had three different gins. Unfortunately, the first one we chose didn't exist. However, we received a recommendation for a similar gin. The gins come to the table on ice so that the tonic water can be dosed yourself. For each gin there is a recommendation of a tonic water and different garnishes. Mainly gins from the UK are on offer, but also one or two from outside the island. We also had a “butter bread” and tortillas with cheese dip. Both are highly recommended in terms of taste and attractively arranged. The atmosphere of the bar is unique and very cozy.

I only completed the above boxes to get to the review section. our children gave us a voucher for Christmas. When we tried to book it was temporarily closed. we have tried calling & emailing on numerous occasions without success. Not one reply. i even sent an email to the owner via LinkedIn, again with no reply. very disappointed with the owners business ethics

Tropieza con esta joya de un lugar en nuestro camino a la estación de tren Haymarket (5 minutos a pie) Ambos tuvimos las envolturas de pollo Kalamaki que estaban rellenas de relleno y muy sabrosas. También tuvimos un lado de la ensalada de lado Htipiti con feta y las papas (que eran cuñas) con feta. Todo sabía delicioso. Estos más 2 latas de coca era menos de £ 33, que pensamos que era una gran relación calidad-precio. Definitivamente volveré.

Food was fantastic, family had everything on the menu and there wasnt anything left after. Heard this place is closing down due to renewal of the lease and we were genuinely upset.... best of luck to the future staff and owner.

Pedido para llevar a través de Uber Eats - una pizza haggis y una remolacha / queso de cabra / nuez. Ambos deliciosos. Uno vino con un baño de barbacoa, pero pedimos el ajo y hierbas y trufa parmesana como extra. Todo muy sabroso y muy disfrutado.
