Lovely evening. The food and wine were really good. The waitresses were excellent. Next time we’re back in Edinburgh, I’ll be back at ROLLO.

We had a wonderful night at this restaurant. The food was amazing. The wine amazing. The service amazing. Give this place 11/10

My 3rd visit in 5 years to this absolutely wonderful restaurant, I have fallen in love with this wonderful enchanting restaurant. last year looked after by John, this time looked after by.rocio , the atmosphere is wonderful. The food is great, the staff are exceptionally fantastic, travelling from Oxford , it’s now my favourite restaurant. Hopefully I go to Edinburgh again, this is where I will be heading and I would encourage everybody to go, I love this restaurant and all that goes with it.

Cozy, romantic, relaxing AND the food is brilliant! Hiding in plain sight on of a lovely neighborhood street filled with cafes, shops and pubs.

We booked Rollo as we were going to a show at the Playhouse. The menu was so interesting and varied. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, we were a party of 6 and all of us thought it was brilliant. We will definitely be back!

Es war mein zweiter Besuch in diesem Restaurant. Sehr gediegene Atmosphäre mit gedämpftem Licht und (nicht zu lauter) Musik. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung und ganz tolles Essen. Gäste müssen über 18 Jahre alt sein. Es lohnt sich, einen Tisch im Voraus zu reservieren.

I found this gem of a restaurant after looking at several places in central Edinburgh which were fully booked , we were certainly happy with our choice , this lovely place is located near the Playhouse in Broughton Street which is easy to find at the end of The Multrees Shopping centre, the 4 of us opted for a light sparkling rose wine and had a great choice of tapas and main meals all excellent quality and very well presented, we had a great afternoon with lovely staff especially our Irish friend, thank you , we look forward to sampling this great place again in the future.

One our absolute favourites in Edinburgh. The food, wine, cocktails and staff are all genuinely fantastic. Cannot wait to go back.

Delicious meal! Everything we ate was absolutely fab and great portion sizes. We shared several dishes but all were tip top, however some stand outs were the venison, prawns, curry, lamb salad, street corn and broccoli! Will defo be back and looking forward to it already. Drinks menu was extensive and reasonably priced with loads of fab cocktails. Obv the wine choices were also on point.

I booked here whilst on a solo business trip. From making the booking to leaving after an excellent meal the attentive service the team provided was brilliant. The food and wine was really fantastic- the pork belly was some of the best I have eaten anywhere! I will definitely be back on my next visit.

The perfect environment for great Food, amazing staff and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Visiting Edinburgh, for Scotland, the second time in four years, also my second visit to this amazing restaurant, catching up with a friend, looked after by the waiter John, who was really professional and grateful, outstanding food, lovely atmosphere, warm and cosy on a cold night outside, I’m in Edinburgh again, I will be visiting this place. The staff are incredible.

Fabulous lunch and dinner spot centrally located in Edinburgh. Eclectic menu with small/medium plates, every dish a winner. Staff are super friendly. And a great bar! Highly recommend.

My wife and I were visiting, went on recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed the food and staff. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for good food or drinks.

We hadn't booked but they managed to seat us at the bar. And thank goodness they did! Usually I am not a fan of eating at the bar, but here I will make an exception. A really warm welcome. Great food, fish & chips followed by sticky toffee pudding. Traditional pub food but done really well. And a lovely bottle of wine. The service through out was excellent. I will definitely be back.

Good atmosphere, staff attentive and tasty food but the portions were too small. We were starving! We felt it wasn’t value for money. If you increase your portion sizes you’ll do better.

Service was great. Lots of nice sounding dishes in the menu. Loved the pudding. Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy my starter or main. Had high hopes for Rollo, so was left disappointed.

Food, service and ambience all perfect. No rushing and 5 star service. I had the King prawn Thai green curry which was one of, possibly the best, I've ever had. The bread and butter pudding was to die for!

We were in Edinburgh for a short break, with friends. Having been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it, we booked again and were not disappointed. The food and the service was excellent, good variety of choices on a small well designed menu. One of our friends had a prawn allergy and the staff went out of their way to make sure there was no problems. The restaurant has a cosy intimate feel to it. A really enjoyable night. We will be back.
