Had some lovely sandwiches here, staff were really friendly and the selection was great. Highly recommended!

Food is amazing. Clean quick and with good service. Taste was well beyond any run of the mail chain outlet. Well worth a stop in.

Lots of options available both ready made and upon request. The food is excellent quality and fresh. It can be busy over lunch but the staff are always friendly.

Best spot for a quick and tasty lunch in the area, by far! Sandwich combinations are original and delicious, and the salads and soups always hit the spot and the menu is reasonably priced. Service is very friendly and caring. There’s usually always a space for you to sit and enjoy your lunch. Highly recommend!

Bite-Me is an absolute gem. All of the employees are professional and polite, the food is outstanding and served promptly. Cannot be beaten for the price. Over the week my wife and I stayed in Edinburgh, Bite-Me became part of our morning routine for coffee and egg/bacon/cheese bagels.

We spent 6 nights in Edinburg, Haymarket area. I ate breakfast or had a coffee at this wonderful shop 4 days in a row. The coffee / service was awesome and a nice range of options available. The staff were so courteous, and the manager, perhaps the owner absolutely were the friendliest people. Wi-Fi available, so you can stat your day at Bite Me without looking for other options.

This place is close to work and is my favourite lunch stop. The sandwiches are very delicious, quickly prepared, and reasonably priced. The staff is always providing friendly and efficient service. It's a small space but normally there are seats available in case you want to sit in

Tog en dubbel espresso som kom utan crema i stort sett. Vass is smaken och besk. Tyvärr. Frun tog en cappuccino som var mellanbra. Så är det espresso eller cappuccino du är ute efter så rekommenderar jag att söka vidare.

Found by accident, as it was near my hotel. Great place for breakfast or lunch. Reasonably priced for a city. Would definitely recommend.

We ate breakfast at this cute cafe 3 days in a row while visiting Edinburg. The coffee was excellent and a nice range of breakfast options were available. We kept returning to the pot of granola with yogurt and berries because it was so tasty but could see a range of tempting alternatives. Staff were so courteous. The manager? gave us great ideas about what to see and do in Edinburgh which was very helpful. Great spot!

First time visitor today. Food is not only fresh, tasty and reasonably priced(especially for Edinburgh) but there is a great selection. Staff are warm and friendly.

Great place for lunch. Nice fresh food, served swiftly by nice staff and a great wee atmosphere. Given some of the bigger lunch time queues at places near by that are nowhere near as good, I think this means you're a hidden gem!

Walked 30 mins across town on Friday 6th Jan to come here, only to find it closed. The opening hours here are clearly wrong. Disappointing and frustrating

Staffs were friendly and polite. Restaurant is decorated well. We tried croissants and hot chocolate. Both tasted good.

I was visiting Scotland and my hotel was around the corner I fancy something different so we went with My family for a trip to this place. The food is lovely, i tried their smoothies are fantastic, the service was impeccable the even change some bread according to my parents taste. They care about the planet they have lots of recycling points. Price were middle range.

Went here for brunch. Plenty of options to choose from. I opted for the cheese and ham toastie with spinach and mustard. I also got a florentine cookie. The toastie was really nice however I didn’t get much mustard flavour. It was the first time I’ve ever had a florentine and it was delicious - bursting with flavour. There was plenty of places to sit and eat but I decided to takeaway. Staff were friendly and gave me a description of each sandwich on the counter, without even asking. I’ll be back again for sure to try something else. Can’t really fault my visit so it’s got to be 5 stars

I love this place! Best salads around! I used to come here a lot before the pandemic as I work on Morrison street. The food is all so fresh and delicious, perfect lunch time spot. I always tend to go for a salad but their sandwiches and soups are also delicious! Staff are also super friendly.

We stayed at the Point A hotel and found this gem of a place to have breakfast. Food was excellent! A good variety well priced and delicious. Staff were amazing!!! Highly recommend for a visit for breakfast and lunch

Very good cafe for food. No facilities. Food is always excellent. Parking is difficult. Easy walking from Haymarket. Closed Saturday and Sunday. They do not have customer toilets. Be aware.

Lovely local cafe. High quality food at reasonable prices. I enjoyed the breakfast roll.

The staff very polite. Plenty of choices. Cards accepted. Covid rules followed. The quality of the sandwiches led them down. Visited twice. Disappointed with the quality really. First visit the bagel was cold and hard. Barely could eat it. The second visit the mozzeralla cheese was actually ice cold. Thought going to a dedicated sandwich shop would at least have them at room temperature. If not toasted or warmed. Could've picked up a cold sandwich from the near by convenience store.

Looks nice but that's about it. There are no plates or cutlery. Even if you sit in you are served food wrapped in paper and coffee in a paper cup. The sandwich was soggy and weird-tasting. To top it up, there's no bathroom. There are so many amazing cafes in Edinburgh - just head to one of those and AVOID "Bite Me"

Awesome sandwich shop near my old work Capita. Great staff and I miss this shop a lot. Ready made sandwiches as well as made to order. The only downside is there’s no toilet if you’re sitting in

The food here is fantastic. They serve breakfast sandwiches, bagels and croissants, or lunch sandwiches, flat breads, wraps etc. They have an amazing range of unusual flavour combinations which taste amazing. The staff are great and friendly and helped me with some tourist attractions to visit. I'm kind of glad this isn't on my doorstep near my home as I'd be spending a fortune :-)

This little cafe is a lovely little stop for either a light breakfast or an afternoon bite, me and the girlfriend stopped here for something to eat and what a treat it was! The berry burst smoothie is unreal alongside a bacon, egg and Lorne sausage roll. 100% recommended to anyone in the area

Stumbled across "Bite Me" while on a recent visit to Edinburgh. My hubby and I enjoyed a lovely lunch, which was freshly made, the staff were busy, but had time to give us some ideas of must see sights in the city. We stayed at the Leonardo hotel and were looking for somewhere different for breakfast instead of the hotel breakfast and we stumbled upon bite me. Great wee place! So accomodating, great food and great value for money. Best bacon, tattie scone and black pudding roll I've had in a while! Will definitely make this our breakfast stop on our returns to Edinburgh.

this is more a takeaway experience than a sit down; there is no toilet there is no cutlery or crockery-everything is served in either a paper bag or a disposeable cup staff "butter" (margarine) food for you or apply jam in the case of a croissant I ordered a bacon roll which was fine except it was lathered in margarine and I hadn't been asked if I wanted this-I didn't.The porridge was the kind that you get in a sachet and add boiling water from the kettle-I was a bit disappoinet with this after all it is Scotland. The lunch sandwich menu has 13 options-all looked good and a bit different from other establishments. The coffee tasted good and was hot. I would definitely go back if I wanted a takeaway lunch.

This was lovely we ordered and then sat down. The food didn’t take long at all it was all homemade. I had a ham sandwich it was delicious and lovely fresh ham. The staff were friendly l will definitely be going back again.

Had a cracking breakfast here. Bacon rolls, bacon and black pudding etc. Cooked to order and lovely. Very nice coffee too. People nice and trendy vibe. Definitely be back.

Pastries (especially pan au chocolat) and coffee are fantastic - I will definitely be going back for more. The staff have always been warm and welcoming. Only reason for 4 stars is that they exclusively serve food and drinks in one-use disposable cups and paper bags. I completely understand the convenience factor but environmentally I would prefer a more sustainable option for sitting in.

Dropped in by chance as we were passing at lunchtime. We both had a salad and they were delicious and good sized portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. As with a few other reviews we were a bit disappointed by the plastic cutlery and cardboard box to eat in.

Great place to eat. We stumbled across this wee sandwich cafe looking for breakfast unfortunately we were too late. We decided on a toasted filled roll and it was amazing . Next time we will definitely be on time for the breakfast. The staff were cheery and lovely. Would definitely recommend this place.

Found this little place not to big a menu had a salad box delicious and fresh. It was clean and tidy, staff friendly, no toilets but did say before went in. Will go back

Trabajo bastante cerca de este café y he estado varias veces para sentarme y sacar.

Llamado aquí 06. 02. 19 con un par de compañeros de trabajo. Impresionado por los diferentes sándwiches que podría obtener a diferencia del jamón, el queso, el etc. estándar. Elegí un queso feta picante con pimientos asados. Costo 3. 20. Era de muy buen tamaño. Sabía muy bien también Colega tenía una ensalada y se veía increíble. No nos sentamos pero noté wifi gratuito. Sólo se dan 4 estrellas como nota en la puerta dice que no hay baño.

Visité aquí con un amigo para un café y un batido. Nuestros batidos debían morir, pero el café estaba quemado o el café llevaba demasiado tiempo sentado. Eso fue asqueroso. Como barista entrenado, encontré desconcertante que esto pudiera suceder. No fue la mejor de las visitas. Regresé por un batido, pero creo que la gente necesita capacitación sobre cómo hacer café. .
