Fantástica comida con un servicio excelente, educado y atento. Un ambiente acogedor y relajante y porciones generosas. Sin duda volveremos a comer allí en nuestra próxima visita.
Excellent hotel in a great location. Easy walk to the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and Princes Street.
We arrived at the hotel very early, and they took care of our luggage and us, and got us a lovely cup of tea. Just the ticket after a long haul flight. The staff were so friendly, courteous, and efficient. The room was lovely, with excellent amenities, including an iron and ironing board. Also a nice kettle, Scottish breakfast tea, and lovely Scottish biscuits.
As an excellent bonus, the restaurant is simply outstanding. Delicious food, excellent wine, and impeccable service. All at quite reasonable prices, considering what you get.
Finally, a really classy bar with, of course, an amazing selection of single malt whisky, and some nice fairly private seating areas.
Highly recommended.
Its all a scam with the 5* rating . They have people paid though a platform telegram , where they get paid to rate . People never been there but get paid to rate . I was one of them till they scammed me .
Wonderful dinner in cozy setting. Chicken with forestiere sauce and chicken with blue cheese sauce cooked to perfection and served with fantastic roasted potatoes. A side of sautés carrots and zucchini were wonderful. Will return. Friendly service, reasonable pricing.
Cracker wee spot just out of the way enough to not bustle like the other tourist traps! Great beer selection! Could do with some snacks but that from a boozy muncher lol! Staff super engaging and knowledgeable!
Excellent, kind staff that was helpful navigating the beers and whisky. The atmosphere was everything you wanted in a Scottish pub. My first dram of Bunnahabhain, which has become a favorite of mine. Bummed the kitchen was closed!
Great place for dinner, we really enjoyed the meal. The service was helpful and polite. The place was not crowded the time we were. We can recommend for sure for people that want to eat sth healthy in Edinburgh
Very good, beautifully decorated vegan pizza, but really very expensive. At this price, the ambiance and interior should be more upscale and cleaner, but even then, £25 for a pizza isn't justified.
The restaurant automatically adds a 10% tip to the bill unless you specifically decline it.
Food looked lovely...we didnt eat but others were...was very busy as Robbie was playing Murrayfield...very few tables not reserved so luck of the draw if you managed to get one that was unreserved...staff were very busy but very polite nd helpful.
