We chose this place for its historical building. Food was good and there was plenty of tasties and cakes. The thing that we didn't like about this place was its expensive bill and the fact that there were few staffs to take care of customers orders. Wouldn't like to return.
myself and 2 friends met up for the first in 40 years in here.
It’s a nice place.
We enjoyed a few beers as we waited for the kitchen to open.
The food was nice, but very overpriced.
The quality of the burgers is simply not at the £15.50 level.
We haven't eaten in a while in a pizza hut, and I can say I saw a huge difference.
Pros
The buffet of 20 British pounds was worth it. We ate a lot and was totally worth it.
The quality of the food was impressive A lot of different pizzas and salads had so many options .
The ice cream was a decent one for a machine made .
Most of the staff were friendly except one guy was a bit stiff and abrupt
Wasn't full, so we got seated fast. Plus, after a few mins, the store was full
Cons
The concept was a bit new to us
Slow Internet connection.
We always visit here when visiting Edinburgh on a couple of nights for our evening meal (as we have a Flaming Grill close to us at home and know the brand). It’s not far from the city and we like a change from the tourist restaurants and bars in the city. We’ve always found everyone to be very friendly and this latest visit was no exception. There is a good range of drinks and the food is served hot and in a timely manner. We will definitely be back again on our next visit to Edinburgh.
Found this place by chance. Is a bit hidden off the main thoroughfare down some steps. Lovely little cafe. Really friendly helpful people running the place. Is small but nice and cosy. Had a really good hearty full breakfast for around £15 which is the norm in the area. Presented beautifully. A small but varied enough menu just to grab a basic bite. You won't get a camembert panini here! LOL. But can get a chicken burger. Would highly recommend for customers that are not too picky and want a good quality tasty bite to eat.

They wanted to deceive me on the price, they tried to charge me the most, they treated me poorly, the food was not good, they told me that they did not have cash to refund me the difference, after a while telling me that I was wrong, they gave me back what they thought . I don't recommend it at all.

Bad experience while taking order, guy name - Tariq whose taking order, he made wait 10 mins while taking on the phone, and he came he didn't even spoke single word took the order, and he charged me extra and I was asking him and he shouting at me that I don't know and didn't even care explain. That was really a bad experience. I didn't all the way to face this situation.
