Popped in to get a quick coffee to start the day and was greeted with lovely customer service and the genuine want to have a conversation as our coffees were being made. The coffee was strong, I got an iced oat latte (no extra charge for the milk! ) and partner got an iced americano.
The vibe was something we wanted to go back to but ran out of breakfast slots on our short trip. Will be one of the first places we head to on our next trip to Edinburgh and you should find the time to go too if the menu intrigues you.

We had a falafelwrap and donner & chips.
Falafel: falafel itself wasn't bad; salad was cursory and tasteless. No tahini sauce! Bread just about fresh, but not very good.
Doner & chips: meh. Sauces ok if not seriously flavourful. Meat tasty enough but nothing great. Chips very average.
All this for £2-3 more per item than I would expect to pay.
Was in earlier today, immediate impression was a bad one. For a start the (only) staff member there was indifferent and unfriendly. As a result I felt very uncomfortable and it was apparent this individual just didn't want to be there, or just didn't appreciate their customers.
The place itself is a bit shabby and badly needs a makeover. Given that there's plenty of other cafes nearby, I would recommend people go elsewhere.
Been coming here for as long as I can remember (a long time) and I consider it to be the best bar for service that’s second to none, atmosphere and whisky selection.
If you’re visiting Edinburgh don’t pass it by!
I cannot speak to the food, but I had drinks here two nights in a row and it was great. Daryna and Jamie took very good care of me. If you're looking for a shot, mixed drink, or a pint, stop by here for reasonable prices and friendly service.

I usually love ordering from this domino’s as it’s so close by & usually comes piping hot. But recently, the last few times I’ve ordered it’s been taking more than twice the time it would usually take, and the food is coming just about warm. The tracker seems to stall at the Quality Control bit, which I’m guessing obviously means it’s sat on a shelf waiting for a driver
