Never arrived, they stole my food even needing a code for deliver it.

I’ve tried lots of other Chinese takeaways in my area but keep going back to this place. Love the salt and spicy ribs.

Having had meals from other takeaways, I was delighted with this meal .

Ordered as our local was closed today and will be the last. Food came earlier than scheduled but still way slower than other Chinese takeaways in the area. Missed out on items, was told it’d be around another half hour to an hour, so asked them to refund and were so hesitant to do so, offering discount on my next order (bold to assume I’d order from here again). Rice portion was tiny too! Will not order from here again, do not recommend

We got chicken fried rice and chicken ginger and spring onions. we loved it, I loved the ginger and spring onions was so comforting and fresh tasting. I would recommend getting this to anyone maybe feeling under the weather or in need of something very comforting to eat.

I had the chefs special chow main it was brill really enjoyed it .also haven meat spring roll it was really nice plenty meat in it only one small thing wld be good if it came with a wee dipping sauce then it wld have 5 out of 5

Not a lot of curry heat and food was warm rather than hot.

first time using Mr so. I enjoyed the meal but I have found most other Chinese takeaways usually add free prawn crackers per meal ordered but Mr so don't Unfortunately so I was a bit disappointed.

Ordered for a certain time, was pretty much bang on time. Arrived nice & hot. The only downside was no prawns in the special curry this !

Ordered takeaway from mr so tonight arrived cold and seemed like it was old food reheated would rate 1 out of 10 . The worst chinese food i have ever had phoned establishment to complain . I was dismissed and made to feel like a liar . Was told the food was of their high standard when it left them .If this is their example of high standard food and great customer service I hate to think what a 90 per cent meal would taste like. I would suggest you never order from this establishment I would suggest 108 chinese hot kung fo as altenatives. Also they dont have any option to leave review on their site which suggests they are scared to hear true reviews about their quality or lack off

Well, I ordered chefs special chowmin...and it was overcooked. The meaty flavour was good but the texture of the whole dish wasn't that great. Seems like it lacked flavour and made in hurry. I didn't enjoy it. Feels weird after eating it in my tummy

Placed an order for delivery using their own website for delivery at 5pm. Waited til 6pm and still no delivery. Phoned and very rude lady told me that first delivery is 6pm, despite me being able to place an order for delivery at 5pm. Had to cancel as was leaving for work. Very disappointed and poor customer service

Worst service ever Waited an hour and a half for dinner to then get notified through just eat that it had been delivered, we called them and they said it was delivered turned out they delivered to the wrong address and couldn’t tell us where. Surely they know where ? Call your driver and ask where he delivered it to? Told me she will cancel the order multiple times I asked her not to as we are waiting on our dinner, she proceeded to cancel it? Then said she couldn’t put it back through I asked her why she said she takes the orders so take the order and put it through? Eventually after me saying I would like the order and to collect due to everyone sitting waiting on food she said she would re make but we had to pay cash even though terms and conditions say cash and card. They offered free prawn crackers, order was over £80 so we said we would like a discount and the girl said no, she then said she wasn’t the boss and doesn’t make the rules so I then asked to speak to the boss she said he didn’t speak English even though I could hear her talking to him in English. Only option was to collect the food and then told we would have to pay cash. Will never be back Worst service ever, really poor customer service

Worst experience ever. Waited 1.5 hrs for our food to be delivered to the wrong address. After phoning to ask where our food was, as it was marked delivered, we were told they would cancel our order altogether. We stated many times on the phone we didn’t want this but they did it anyway. Our entire order was cancelled and they said the only way to get our food was to re order and to drive to collect it and pay cash only, so we’ve ended up waiting almost 3 hours for our dinner only to have to reorder it with no compensation or discount and having to spend fuel money to get it when we originally ordered for delivery. We were originally offered ‘free prawn crackers’, on an order of over £75 which would have come with that anyway and told a 15 minute wait but after asking to speak to a manager the woman returned saying the order was cancelled altogether and it would be 30 minutes for collection with no compensation at all. When asking to speak to the manager we were told that the manager couldn’t speak to us as they didn’t speak English, despite the fact we could hear them communicating in English on the phone.

Terrible food this evening, made me very ill. Had chicken. Would not recommend, appalling. To be fair to them, food was made quickly and for the price the portion was generous, however it made me sick. Lady who took my order was nice enough, no more, no less. I live locally and will not be back.

Absolutely amazing I have ordered the same dishes and must admit it was the hottest and freshest food - The food wasn’t the most technically challenging but honestly it was like it was just cooked in my kitchen even the chips where too hot 👍👍👍👍.

bang on time, excellent duck pancakes (they aren't kidding when they say half a duck), yummy ribs, solid chow mein - just delicious all round really. Also they threw in a free bottle of pepsi which definitely helped wash down all that grub.

Starters weren’t the same quality and main’s were very cold so had to reheat. Order was an hour early, to estimated time given and the driver wasn’t happy I wasn’t ready with a ‘tip’ so slammed the stair door closed- not acceptable

The chicken in sweet chilli sauce was not nice at all. Tasted more like soy sauce and had no sweetness to it. The curry was bland like it came out of a packet. I was disappointed with the order and won’t order from them again

Tasty but fried rice just isn't the same when its just boiled rice with soy sauce mixed in and then the meats on top. Some actual frying in a wok would be nice. Chips were a bit on the undercooked side.

The whole meal has went to the hun was freezing cold chip was cold the prawn salads was the only thing that was saving the rest total waste the chips wer rock solid n cold I wouldn’t hand it to a homeless person if you ask me don’t think

Food was pretty old tasting. Crispy beef was soggy but the sauce was nice. Chow mein was flavourless. Chicken balls weren't cooked long enough so the batter was stodgy and oily. Will not order again from here

Mr So is an excellent Chinese takeaway. they've never let me down with portion size or quality with anything I've ordered from them.

Whilst some of it tasted good, 6 small pork balls for 6.60 is outrageous. Especially when the batter is stale and foamy and the pork inside is dry, chewy and leathery. On top of that the crab meat in the soup...not crab meat. 'Crab stick' meat is accurate. It's difficult to mess up chips, rice and curry sauce so that at least was eaten happily.

sweet and sour chicken balls burnt

Got a simple chicken fried rice. Portion of salt and spicy chips, normal portion of chips and some curry’s sauce. Waited near enough an hour for the food to be delivered. Curry sauce was absolutely vile tasted like something you’d get out of a packet from Asda. Chips were all soggy and chicken fried rice was disgusting. Don’t understand how you can mess up a simple chicken fried rice. Will never order from here again.

Our go to Chinese takeaway in Edinburgh. Every order so far has been correct, on time or even early and delicious too. Very satisfied.

Great food but won’t be ordering from here again. Had already experienced two occasions of receiving rice when we ordered noodles but this latest error ended up sending us beef and prawns when we ordered vegetarian. Disappointing because we loved it when they got it right.

awful. very late. when I called they were rude. still trying to get a refund as I refused the order when it finally turned up over half an hour late.

Starters. Chicken and sweetcorn soup and barbecue chicken wings. Mains. Prawns in black bean sauce , chicken in chilli and garlic sauce. Soft noodles. Soup was bland, no seasoning and the sweetcorn was crunchy, as if chucked in after the soup has been made. The barbecue chicken wings, should be renamed, chicken wings with barbecue sauce, as the chicken wings are fried with batter and then a dollop of barbecue sauce is dolloped on. Mains also bland, the chilli and garlic chicken , no seasoning and no taste of chilli or garlic. Prawnsin black bean sauce , again very bland, no seasoning. Not to my taste, cannot reccomend.

The crispy chilli chicken was burnt and didn’t taste the same as it usually does. A shame because it is normally very nice.
