When I suggested this to my italian friends I said: "Let's eat the pizza of merdo" but they didn't want to try. I don't know why but I really recommend this place!

They got the written order wrong, when I phoned I realised they were not interested in correcting it, basicly it was tough. Don't go near this place

Great food and service. Have to give credit to Gary the delivery driver who had issues with vehicle the other night. Kept me informed and went over and above to get my food to me still hot!! Food always amazing but the drivers the one who gets it to my door. 5 stars to Merdos. 6 stars to Gary

Avoid at all costs,always add on extra money being sneaky without you knowing happens all the time with both owners

OK pizza when it arrived. Ordered in store but somehow it was never cooked. I needed to remind them and they started pointing at each other. Pretty funny. No discount or anything for the incompetence.oh welll

Food was 10/10. Best munchie box I had in a while. 100% coming back.

Amazing! We ordered Spicy Chicken pizza with mushrooms, red onion, mixed pepper and Mixed Calzone with chilli sauce and salad. All were absolutely delicious and freshly cooked. Portions are huge and the staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Reasonable prices. Quick delivery (takes only 15 minutes) highly recommended. 💕💕

Bought a rump steak supper, the batter on the rump steak was far to thick, it was soggy and undercooked. It was soaked in grease to the point you would think I'd spread lipsil on my lips n mouth absolutely vile, 2 bites n it went in bin 🤢🤢🤢

Went in to order food they was very helpful, as im not from the area they helped with the foods I didn't know, what they was.. we requested delivery for 8pm they brought it to us at the hotel on time.. food was amazing very tasty and fresh very happy with the service thank you portion size was massive 😀

They sold me Ice cream that was refrozen and tasted and smelt like it had been hiding at the bottom of the freezer. Really disappointed that they thought it was a good idea to send me this as they obviously knew the quality was terrible. Portions are also shrinking.

Just ordered single battered chicken single fish and fritters the batter was so soggy could not eat it,same with the chicken batter and the fritters were mostly hard and food cold I have ordered here a few times and always something rubbish never again will I order anything from here £20 down the drain and starving

Used this chippy alot but lately chips not so nice weird taste to them kebabs are yummy tho

We bought a portion of chips from here on Friday 12 August. When got home and opened the box the smell was horrendous. There was a weird smell which I can only compare with the smell of baby sick 🤮 we couldn’t eat them and just binned them. The cooking oil is obviously old too as the chips were covered in black speckles. Merdos was once a great chip shop however after this we won’t be back.

First order of double pepperoni pizza with extras. Extras were there, but not pepperoni. But hey, everyone makes mistakes, so I paid for another order and another delivery to get pizza with flies. One dead, 2 flew out of the box after I opened it. Definitely not cool.

I got a small bag of chips and it was a very small portion at the cost of £2.20. The brown sauce was basically like water and didn’t have any taste. The full menu is overpriced for the area, the chip shop I use in town is cheaper and you get a bigger portion and the brown sauce is actually sauce. It’s a shame because I used to go to this chip shop a lot when I lived in the area. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Fantastic fish n chips. Crispy batter, delicious fish. A big portion of real chips. A little light on the salt n vinegar, but this didn't detract.

Normally pop in or order by phone this time ordered for collection. Disappointed when I got it home because if I order by the other ways I get the three dressings this time only one. Also pitta bread is a bit soggier as it is in with the salad. It would be helpful if you could add a note when placing an order

They have always treated me with respect across the phone line and my orders have always arrived intact and as tasty as I could imagine. I highly recommended the kofte kebab or lamb sheesh kebab, don’t be surprised to find a few fries tossed in for good measure. The create your own pizza option has also allowed me to get the pizza I want. Top shop!

Ordered the fish supper. N was pleasantly surprised how fast the delivery was.as I stayed at the lodge. Only stayed here 1 nyt but if I'm bk again which will b soon.i defo use this shop. Fish was really good as well as the chips

Ordered direct by phoning in. Have used them a couple of times before. I'm a bit fussy but give top marks to Merdos. Food always piping hot. My only complaint...fish supper MASSIVE. Would highly recommend.

Worst kebab meat I've ever had!! Since when is kebab meat crispy got a combination kebab with chicken small portion size for the price you pay! I'd avoid this place!

They use to do amazing pizzas, now they really can’t be arsed even making the dough properly.

Merdos has gone downhill over the last few months. Used to get a wee sauce along with 16" pizzas nothing now. Got a king rib supper delivered, half a portion of chips and a rubbery king rib (batter was greasy and hard). Disappointing as used to be a good chippy. Pull your socks up Merdos!.

Never order from here again lost £40 as food never arrived and no refund was given

If I could I'd rate this pizza no stars. The quality has gone downhill dramatically. Tasteless and zero salt. Garlic pizza had zero taste of garlic and cheese and tomato pizza had a pink colour to the tomato. I wont order from here again . :(

1 star is far generous..staying in the local Travelodge and being out of the area were in that position where we chose to use these for an evening take out delivered to the door. Food arrived within 10 minutes ..lamb kebab and pizza. Gave a tip to the driver for the speedy delivery. Opened the container of the kebab and the smell was horrendous.. it had gone off!! ..called them back to collect and refund and the reply was..sorry dont understand ?? Its easy..its off I want my money back !! ..sorry we close now..its 10.30pm ..drive down to the shop.. closed and locked up... absolute scammers and the food is not for for human consumption..stunk the room out..asked the reception at the lodge to have a smell and they were embarrassed asking me to take it out of the area as it smelt putrid ! Dont buy from here ..absolute scammers and using foul meat

Just had the best and biggest doner kebab from here will definitely come back. Read previous reviews but most were really old so thought i would give it a try. And im very pleased i had. Feeling full and satisfied.😊😊
