Delicious crepe with generous filling, but the service was a bit slow.

Beautiful crepe and the service from my boy finely was outstanding would recommend any day of the week beautiful. Also they told me the closest place to get d soops wick was ideal

I definitely made a connection with this spot. A good little place to grab some good bites while exploring the town. Had an enjoyable French hot dog. That French mustard had a good kick.

We had a snack here today - the staff are so friendly and the food is gorgeous. I had the Auld Alliance- absolutely superb.

Crepes were over-cooked, over-priced, the ingredients did not seem fresh and when I bit into one of the crepes there was a small stone which CRACKED my tooth!

Visited for dinner, and a great experience it was. The staff were polite, the menu extensive, and whilst not cheap, it was plentiful and well presented. Equally, the wine list offered a wide variety and complimented the food.

No mulled wine on Grassmarket. Sucks

Lovely spot in the Grassmarket square. We had some hot dogs with cheese mushrooms onion and were made really nicely. Very good for a good price.

We stayed in Westport during the Fringe and had to luck of walking past The French Connection on Grassmarket every evening on our walk home. The crepes we ordered were absolutely delicious. They do take a few minutes to cook, so do not get in line if you are in a hurry. The staff are friendly and even pretended to be impressed by my attempt at speaking French to them.

My wife ordered a crepe from here for lunch from this lovely little food truck. It was cheap, came out quickly, and the bite I tried of it was tasty. What else can you expect?

I cannot vouch for the crepes as I never saw it open. Late at night it was closed so the next morning I rang the number & was full of joy to hear it was serving. Off I trudged through the Scottish rain only to see it fully bordered up. Disappointed to say the least

I wasn't expecting to get what I've had in France, but even so the galette was terrible. Bad consistency, it tasked awful, I could not even finish it and I hate wasting food. Plus, the man working there made me pay extra because apparently brie doesn't count as cheese. I pointed that out but didn't give a satisfying explanation of why I should pay more. It was just like 40c more so I paid, but it was a question of principle.

Very nice crepes at such a decent price - I just needed a snack to keep me going before tea time and this certainly did the trick! Didn’t try any of the other food he did, but I’m sure that would be equally as tasty

Me and a friend of mine enjoyed our lunchtime with a delicious savoury crepe. I'd suggest trying the one with veggies... extremely flavourful and prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff was very nice and friendly... I'd definitely repeat the experience!

La mejor opción para comer rápido y bien, y seguir disfrutando de la visita a Edimburgo. Elegimos crepes salados y acertamos, aunque creo que los dulces tienen que estar bastante bien también. El precio está bien para ser un país con la libra como moneda. El chico que nos atendió fue muy amable. Comimos al mediodia del sabado 21 de octubre de 2017, por si su jefe quiere aumentar su sueldo jejejejje. Ojalá volvieramos a probarlo.

This is right in the middle of the grass market square. My kids got a couple of the crepes and loved the chocolate and the cinnamon. I thought they were ok as well.

The hot dogs were very good. The service was wondeful. The crepes looked really good. Overall I'd rate it a 9 of 10. The food was really good and was like a French British and American style.

We had snacks from here after a night out around the square, 6 of us eat here and I must say its one of the best snack bars we have eaten from for years

Quando abbiamo visto il chiosco non ci potevamo credere! Le crepes in Scozia! Noi naturalmente le abbiamo prese con la Nutella, buone , anche se leggermente troppo cotta la Nutella, ma va bene così, anche perché le trovate solo ad Edimburgo, nel resto del paese impera giustamente il piatto nazionale : fish and chips

Esse lugar aqui em Edimburg tem excelentes crepes.Lugarzinho bem simpático e preço muito bom.Recomendo crepe de nuttela com banana.

While having a few pints at the beehive, I grabbed a savoury crêpe to wash it all down. Staff used traditional cookware and what appeared to be traditional ingredients; however, the flavour seemingly was lacking, resulting in a dry and boring cardboard product with cheese and meet stuffed in it. A bit disappointing - especially considering the person serving was French themselves. Would not likely go back.

I got a nutella & nuts crepe and my boyfriend got a sticky toffee one. Mines was amazing and he said he loved his too. Would buy from again on next trip to Edinburgh. Yum :)

I admit it--I'm a crepe snob. I really mind what kind of cheese is in my crepe, and here, they seem to use a bright orange mild cheddar that maybe suits the Scottish palate. Personally, I did not care for it. But the lines are long and the crepes are hot and filling, so if you are looking for a haggis crepe, this may be your one chance to try one out.
