Great little place in the middle if the tourist area of Edinburgh. Super quick service, lovely food and great service from Simran. We will definitely come back when we next visit Edinburgh

It is very welcoming, the girl who serves you is super nice and friendly. The food was very good, the portions are sufficient, I couldn't finish my plate. It is quite affordable in price.

I loved the vibe there went with my family, being an Indian I was amazed by the food, the songs in the background were cherry on the cake. Sneha served us and she did a great job.

I went to this restraunt in Royalmile with my girlfriend. We had passionfruit martini and strawberry daiquiri and it was fabulous. Priyanshi served us she did a great job. Kudos to her.

One of my worse experiences when it comes to eating out in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, the portions were quite small at the beginning (even I would have needed 3 main meals to fill myself up). In addition, the service was rather mediocre. Between ordering the food and paying, no one asked again about amenities or anything like that. In the end, the taste of the food was okay, but not earth-shattering. You expect a little more given the price and location.

Went on 9.8. 2024. Food was not bad. I was shocked at the price of the butter Naan bread. £5.90 each for a standard Naan. Ridiculous price. I still have the receipt. We bought 6 naans. That costed £36 alone. Plus a 10% gratuity. Never again.

From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! I can’t say enough good things about the service at this restaurant. Simran was incredibly accommodating for minor changes and goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy. Bravo!

Wonderful customer service from Sneha , friendly, prompt and helpful. The food was presented well but we were used to a different sauce it was very mild more like a gravy. So if you like it hot Spicy make it clear.

I’m visiting from America and this is by far the best Indian food I have ever had! Friendly, prompt service and I am only here for three days and it was so good, I had to return! Very affordable and worth the prices. I highly recommend!

Tasty food and rich in flavour. We had to ask one of the staff three times for the bill, and it took 25 minutes until ge got it. The atmosphere had nice Diwali decorations, but would have wished for more cozy interior.

Tandoori chicken excellent, but I think we counted four prawns in the prawn biriyani, which is a very poor serving indeed, and even those we had to go digging for. Lots of quite bland rice but not a lot else, so it was very disappointing really.

What a delightful café! This is restaurant was busy on a Tuesday night in November. It's frequented by many locals. We had a lovely dinner, reasonably priced. So happy we found this hidden gem! Our thanks to Sneba for her kind hospitality.

Food is really good, especially the Hakka noodles, best I’ve had in the city. Large vegetarian selection is there, just that I felt portions are a bit small for the price but food and service were good.

A welcoming place with very good food. I experienced a friendly service and delicious meals. The dishes had a good spice. Some more vegetarian options would be nice, something like Malai Kofta for example. Overall basic Indian dishes, nothing special, but a cozy restaurant to eat in. The Sabzi mix was grandiose! They used big chunks of fresh vegetables that came with a hot dip. Overall, it was quite expensive, but serving sizes were very good. I recommend the staff checking the cleanliness of the tables more often and to bring the drinks before serving the food.

Serving size small and over priced

I ordered just before 3pm, and the order kept getting pushed back until eventually at 6pm it said on the app it had “been delivered at 7:15pm”. Eventually I gave up. Then when I had left the house, I got a call from the driver at 10:50pm saying he was outside. Then he asked for the code, and I came home and the order wasn’t there. If you would like to receive your food, please do not order here. 0/10.

The food was excellent : tasty and warm there was great Indian music it was very clean and very well decorated the only downside is that not all but some of the waiters were tired and it looked like they were sick of there job but other than that it was excellent .

Decent Indian food albeit slightly overpriced. Very helpful, courteous and professional service offered by Prajwal & Priyanshi. More than happy to go the extra mile. Food was good on the taste buds. Don't expect too much from the flavours. A nice meal altogether

The atmosphere is good, That’s the only good thing, The food is awful and too much pricey sold with the Indian tag. The briyani is just basmati rice and chicken / lamb. Just 5 small pieces cost you more than 15 pounds. And that is not the worse part, the service is worse than the food.

I recently visited India Kitchen and had a disappointing experience. I went in craving a coffee, but to my surprise, they didn’t offer any hot beverages at all. After waiting outside for my order, they finally informed me they could make chai. I agreed, but when I received the two cups, I was shocked by the price—£9 for two cups of chai, which was just a watered-down version that barely filled the cup. Overall, I found the experience frustrating and not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a good chai or coffee.

food was lovely! great vegetarian options, we had the golgappa to start and palek paneer and the aubergjne curry and it was delicious. we liked that the garlic naan is the same price as the normal naan a lot! Ujjwal served us, his service was great. definitely would recommend!

The food was ok for an evening meal. The salad was individual vegetables placed together. The naan bread is recommended, very soft and fluffy.

Its was amazing expirence when it ended,as I was not satisfied by the start coz we reached there 15 mins before the kicthen closes and the did not felt enough welcomed as they were in a rush to go home and were allocated a table at the very back without any ventilation and nobody came with water or even taking order,eventually we were shifted in the front upon our request. The food was nice,decent priyanshi and ujjawal were providing us with good care .

I’ve got a difficult appetite but I really liked it. The food was very flavorful and the cheese naan was so good, perfect amount of cheese. The portioning was perfect for my stomach. very chill place, not too loud or overstimulating. Introvert approved 👍 Shoutout to Ujjwal for great service:))

It's a personal opinion from my last dining experience from here ( 4 people), absolute injustice with the price and the quality and quantity of the food there. Can't even get any flavour of butter in butter nan , chicken dishes were below par, BIG NO for anyone who's looking for authentic Indian food. Not adding any pictures of the food because the presentation was pathetic

I found the food to be very good, I had fish pakora and Lamb balti with basmati rice. Food was tasty, atmosphere was good, staff friendly and helpful. Having read past reviews from customers I am happy to say they seemed to reflect a different experience for those customers, thankfully mine was good.

We ordered Chili Garlic Chicken and Butter Lamb with sides of pilau rice snd butter nan. Both disges were absolutely delicious with just the right strength, and the servers, Ujjwal and Priyanshi, were really friendly and helpful. Can definitely recommend this restaurant.

We weren't satisfied! The staff is not particularly friendly. Prices very high - the taste of the food was rather boring, not very enjoyable, there was no salt - the Chicken Khorma was nothing! There are very good Indian restaurants. Here you expect to never see guests again...

We walked in to this restaurant on a whim and we are so happy we did. We ordered several plates including the railway lamb, daal, samosas, garlic naan, and a few other plates and every single plate was great. All had different flavors and the spice level was perfect!
