Evitar a toda costa. Tomó £ 18 de mí sin entregar mi pedido y luego afirmó que recibí el pedido cuando me disputaba el cargo con el banco. Gente horrible.

Llevo 50 años comiendo pescado con patatas fritas de varios establecimientos de Edimburgo. Hay muchas buenas, pero, para mí, la de Stefano es la mejor. Productos de alta calidad, porciones generosas, precio razonable y muy buen servicio.

Absolutely fantastic food and staff would highly recommend . Definitely worth a visit ... Great pizza pasta . Fish n chips .

If zero stars were possible, that would be ticked. Rude, cheeky staff, food was greasy and sloppy. They don’t do criticism, just like to be rude to their customers. Stay well clear. Go up to bruntsfield for an excellent chippy

Fresh fish and chips straight out of the fryer Good portions but sadly the batter was so sodden with cooking oil you could press it out Fish wasn’t that fresh tasting either Excellent chips though Not good enough to revisit for a supper sadly

Have been coming here for years, but alas no more. With cash machine over the road, I was forced to buy a supper at £6.50 instead of just chips, or face wandering around morningside looking for a cash machine in the rain due to minimum £5 card fee. Guy argued with me that this was reasonable - I think not!!!

Having a take away isn’t cheap and it’s a bit of a treat really. We had a good active day out and decided to finish It off with Fish and Chips from our local. Order taken 1715hrs. Delivery made 1855hrs We were starving. When the food arrived It was lukewarm and the fish was stuck to the cardboard box (see photo) Stefanos - please don’t claim to be a takeaway with a delivery service if you are not able to provide that service. Poor show I would not recommend.

The WORST fish supper I have ever had. For some unknown reason the “crispy” battered fish was wrapped in plastic wrapping. Who would do that? Soggy mush and extracting the meat resulted in fish mince - totally inedible. Have used this chippy for over 15 years, never again.

We have been here for first time while living close to it for more than a year. I was shocked in a good way how good and big the portion was. You would not tell that it was £5.80 meal or £15 meal from fancier restaurant. Big thumbs, service was quick and accurate too. Will be visiting soon again

This little shop is very busy and sometimes there is a long wait, especially when meals are made to order

This is a good takeaway, quick service and they have a great selection of food on the menu, From traditional Scottish stuff to Pizza and kebabs

Ok, so don't go in too often as well all know you are not meant to, right? But when of an evening your resolve is weak you cannot beat a haggis supper - it does not disappoint - even if you do feel a little guilty in the am

I have been a loyal customer for many years. Simply because of the consistently great fish and chips. Friendly staff and fair prices. A good place for a takeaway at any time. Open late and a saviour after a few pints....

Chips cheese curry sauce were out of this world, don't understand why people complaining about the food, absolutely delicious. And the gent who delivered was very nice and had great customer service skills

Fish had bones in it and batter soft. Chips were soft and slimy. Chicken had no flavour and again chips disgusting. Didn't eat it.

If you don’t mind waiting this is a very good way to get a very good supper. Everything is freshly cooked on the spot under professional supervision.

I've been going to Stephano's off and on fro a number of years. this is a family business that knows how to cook its fast food properly by which I mean no soggy fish or chips ever. Highly recommended

went too stephano,s last night on way home for my tea,superb fish and chips,they had fantastic displays of pizza,s aswell and kebabs too,all very well priced too for Morningside

We enjoyed the food. If we were back in the area, we would gladly go back and try the fish as well. Close to Braid Hills Best Western where we stayed, and seems to be the best value for money.

The fish and chips were cooked to perfection as were the pizzas I would not hesitate to order again.

Great takeaway , always fresh food and superb service. Have been going here for years and the quality is always consistent.

If your hungry and fancy a chippy, then I would recommend Stephano's. The fish is fabulous and I have travelled all over Scotland and no where has beaten it yet. I phone up and pre order the 'Special ' fish (breadcrumbed). Its like moby dick and struggles to fit in the box. Its not the cheapest chippy but its reasonable and you get what you pay for. I can't wait to be back in Edinburgh for another meal.
