Everything was great- food, service & ambience!

To celebrate my 80th birthday, a large group of people came for lunch. Not only did the restaurant cope extremely well with such a group needing to be served at the same time, but my friends just loved every course and praised the wine. The service was great, as was the ambience, and I was told afterwards that for many this was the best party of the year.

When I attended earlier this week I wasn't there for food, but I was bitterly disappointed with the poor selection of beers on offer. This wasn't helped by the eye watering prices which they are charging for nondescript ales from nondescript breweries. My enquiry about whether they sold a traditional Scottish 80/- beer was met with a blank vagueness. When this sort of fare is being offered, poor ales at utterly ridiculous prices, is any wonder that there are so many pubs closing.

Perfect pub for some local beers and quiet time

The pizzas were cold and we had to reheat in the microwave so I am very disappointed. We usually order from Pizza Hut or Papa John's with no issues. This was made worse by the cost of the pizzas, which did not match up to the poor quality.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere in the downstairs bar and food in the restaurant upstairs was easily a 10/10 . Will definitely be back on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Very good dips and a variety of dishes. Nice views of St James Quarter. Tight price and good quality.

Highly recommended for Indian curries. The staff is very kind and the food is amazingly delicious. 10/10. One of the old restaurants in Queensferry.

We used Pizza Connection for a large order of Pizzas and chicken Pakora. All of the food was outstanding, the Pakoras are particularly good. Staff are really friendly and always willing to be flexible with orders. Very grateful. Thank you.

Remarkably average burger at higher price point than other local burgers. Table service was below average when compared to other local spots. This is certainly an option to dine in if other spots are full.

Food was cold and had no sauce in it

Ordered at 6pm with delivery estimated to be 30-45 minutes and it came at 19:50

Ordered online via the website - got the chicken chow mein, and the egg fried rice, chips & curry sauce combo which came to £10.54 with a 20% discount, so brilliant value for money. Food was good, hit the spot! Server at the desk was friendly, place has a warm atmosphere. Will order again for sure!

Probably one of the worst places I've ate at in a while. Was eventually seated after standing for ages in reception and shown to a table. Waited at least another 20 minutes until we called a waitress over to order some drinks. 15 me later the drinks arrived and my pint of lager was watered down with lemonade. I took this to the bar and this was confirmed by the barman who said he'd send another pint over to my table. Another 20 minutes past and we'd still had no food serve by this point a waitress broke me over my new pint. First inspection looked good but when drunk it was a complete flat disappointment to be Payton 6.50 for it.
