My wife and her friend were treated awfully by the staff in here today. Staff extremely critical of the children in the group. Will not visit again.

Everything I wanted from a dessert shop! Stunning food! I went for a custom crepe. The ones that had sounded nice, but I wanted chocolate and strawberry! It was so good, I had to order it again! Milkshakes were great too!!! Definitely the perfect place to go!!!

A perfect spot for the best dessert in Edinburgh. I had the white chocolate ice cream with white chocolate sauce and some toppings😌 I love the staff, they’re all smiley & friendly! Big ups!

I'm extremely disappointed with the service at Heavenly Desserts. I waited around 25 minutes just to have someone take my order. To make matters worse, I asked for a cup of water 4 times and was ignored each time. When I politely mentioned it, the staff member became rude and told me to "that's fine relax". I spoke to the manager, she initially made excuses, saying the staff had a long and busy day. I asked her if that meant they had the right to be rude to customers, and only then did she apologise for the poor service. As a paying customer, I expect basic courtesy and respect, regardless of the staff's workload or stress levels. Heavenly Desserts needs to train their staff on proper customer service and manage their workload more efficiently. Until then, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Great desserts. Had cheesecake and ice cream...lovely, and also had milkshake which was also delicious. Only minus point is, I thought it was a tad expensive.

Almost 3hrs for delivery. I would have cancelled but my daughter really wanted the dessert. The actual food was amazing 10/10 without a doubt but the crazy long delivery time soured the order tbh.

I had an amazing experience with the entire staff, but one person truly stood out—Laisa. She is such a sweet soul, incredibly professional, and her hard work is evident in everything she does. I will definitely be returning for her exceptional service!

Patrick has this incredible knack for balancing professionalism with genuine friendliness. He took the time to chat about the menu, sharing little insights about the ingredients and even suggesting pairings I wouldn’t have thought of myself. You can tell he loves working at Heavenly Desserts—not just because of the amazing treats (though who could blame him?), but because he truly cares about making every customer’s visit special. The place was buzzing, yet he handled everything with such grace and efficiency, all while keeping that cheerful spark in his eye. What stood out most was how he turned a simple dessert stop into a highlight of my day. It’s rare to find someone so young with such a natural talent for customer service and a real passion for their work. Friendly and welcoming staff. Just went for desserts, after a meal , elsewhere. Ordered the double chocolate cookie dough and sticky toffee pudding, both looked great and tasted even better. Definitely reccomend and I intend to return.

Amazing staff with excellent service. I ate the mushroom and Swiss croffle which was exceptional. Coffee is great, place is lovely. The manager Attia is so welcoming and a real sweetheart. Come here for a nice brunch catch up, a lovely date or even a family gathering. High quality ingredients and also caters to halal and vegetarian eaters. I'm dead impressed.

We got seated straight away. However the service was very very slow and poor. We waited 30 mins for the waiter to take our order, even though there were 3 other tables at the time. Our food arrived very late and I did not get the drink I asked for at the start of the order, until I asked again. Staff were nice however the service provided was not great.

Absolutely delicious. I’ve been there several times for brunch, for coffee and desserts and to be honest I cannot choose which one was better. Staff very friendly and very nice. The best dessert restaurant in Edinburgh. Love it

We were served by colla and she was amazing, and the desserts were delicious.

Have been in store before and a lovely experience. Delivery tonight was shocking and definitely will not be ordering again. Ordered at 8pm and was meant to be delivered at 8:40. Just eat notified us that the courier was at the restaurant by 8:40 but the estimated delivery time kept being delayed. Phoned at 9:00 to ask what was going on and was informed they didn’t know when the driver was going to be at the shop and our food was sitting waiting. Food arrived cold and ice cream melted at 9:30.

Wow......from start to finish 10/10. Service spot on, deserts and shakes crazy good. All ages from Grandparents, parents and grandkids loved it. Not sure the grandkids or Grandparents will sleep tonight as on a sugar high. 🤣🤣🤣

I was late in last night and desperately needed something sweet to eat; everywhere else was closed! But Heavenly Deserts came through; I would definitely order from them again.

Always a good choice to get some dessert. There is a huge selection so there is something for everyone! Servers were lovely and double checked with our order. Our desserts came promptly and we really enjoyed them.

We had a create your own crepe and a chocolate & praline torte both were 10/10 as was the decor/atmosphere. Ahmed M was our server and was very attentive throughout him and Laisa were both able to advise us on the menu. We will be back soon.

I placed an order on new years eve for collection and got there for pick up, and the place was blackout closed. They won't give me a refund on justeat and i cannot contact management at all. So disappointing, been robbed of my money completely and stood out in the cold for nothing.

Walked 20 minutes from previous location because it stated open on Google only to arrive for the doors to be open but staff saying they are closed.

Ordered online, cookie dough was very small compared to other places (mastro desserts). The cookie dough wasn't warm, it was cold. Ice cream scoop wasn't cleaned, as I could taste something fruity even though I had vanilla and cookie crunch ice cream. All came to around 25 pound. Which is ridiculous. I was expecting warm food and atleast something worth the price. Got nether. Delivery driver however was super nice.

Amazing! Just fabulous the food was so delicious the way the flavour melted in your mouth you could taste the love. The atmosphere felt like I was in a fairytale. As a photo girly I love the flower wall it just perfect. Sevice was brilliant the staffwere so friendly. They did their job and got the food out so fast overall this was the best experience.

A must visit for dessert lovers. They have so many options so many categories.. you will be spoilt for choice literally! They have waffles, croffles, ice creams, gelatos, cheesecakes, shakes, smoothies and many more. The San Sebastian basque cheesecake was the start for me as a cheesecake lover. The service is great too and it gets very busy during weekends so you might have to wait for a table.

Driver is extremely inept, drove for over 20 minutes and then couldn't find a door number, asking if "100 is ok" when the door number is 95.

Had ordered on Uber eats before and was fine. This time last year I headed in person. There was one other table when we arrived, we were sat quickly, given menus, made our order and paid in advance within 5 mins because in 45 mins we had to leave to catch a paid for show. We weren’t told anything about a wait until 5 mins after paying for our order, which all that was said was mine may take 5 mins longer than my partners. We noticed a couple booths had not been cleared and people arriving after us and being seated. After half an hour I asked if we could grab our food in to go containers but was told they hadn’t started making it yet. It became clear to me that of the 4 people behind the counter, 2 were being trained. The order they had spent half an hour making was for Uber. If we were told of the wait before being sat or ordering we wouldn’t have bothered as we understood we had somewhere to get to in an hours time. Waiting 40 mins for ice cream isn’t reasonable. I had emailed the company to try resolve this and get a refund or voucher and was met with the head office insisting me the area manager would be in contact but after 3 emails and a year I’ve received nothing. Don’t normally write bad reviews and will take other steps before publicly posting but I won’t be recommending or purchasing from here in future because of this. I see this as a problem with upper management more than most likely under paid workers.

Tried one of their sundaes and it was quite disappointing. Shared my disappointment with their staff and they provided a 30% discount. Still wouldn't recommend the place. I recommend KASPA which was in Gorgie park.

Heavenly is right. I had the royal cookie dough (hazelnut) and it's phenomenal. One of the best desserts I've ever had. If you're in Edinburgh and want a yummy dessert, come here. You won't be disappointed.

I had the Bueno Croffle and it was amazing I would definitely recommend it. The service was quick and the staff were all very friendly as well as the manager who was very welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful and very spacious which added to the great atmosphere.

delivery time, although updated frequently, was an hour after the original estimate. The ice cream arrived as a luke warm liquid but the chocolate tart was good. £25 all in (sundae & tart + charges) ended up feeling a bit steep as 2/3 of my order came totally melted.

Cameron made my drinks and was very good, he also answered my questions about the puddings in the fridge :) he was grrrrreat!!!!!

I was delighted to discover Heavenly Desserts had a Vegan Menu when I was visiting my son and grandson in Edinburgh last week. The ‘sticky toffee pudding’ was delicious, and my son enjoyed everything he had - no need for him to eat anything else that day 🤣

The dessert was great. The cost was a bit high but worth it. I had a great cheese cake with a shot of chocolate. Both were very tasty. The worst thing about the place is trying to figure out which dessert to get. Then regretting not getting something else. I will visit again as menu is extensive.

Heavenly Desserts blows the likes of Kaspa’s and other similar dessert establishments out of the water. If you're contemplating whether to give them a try, do it! I honestly can't fault the quality of their goods. Initially, I was hesitant, expecting a low-quality, overly sweet dessert, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The dishes here are excellent quality. The chocolate fudge cake and cookie dough dishes are exceptional, with a fantastic taste, and the croffles are also delicious. The restaurant is clean, well-decorated, and the staff are incredibly helpful.

I recently dined at heavenly desserts and was impressed by Cameron’s outstanding service. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent menu recommendations and adaptions due to being vegan and allergies. Their friendly demeanour and prompt service greatly enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommend asking for Cameron for a top-notch dessert.

One of the reasons I love the Heavenly Desserts in Edinburgh is its proximity to Cineworld at Fountain Park. It’s fantastic to visit either before or after seeing a film. Another reason I love it is the extensive menu! They have so much variety that you could visit daily for months and still find something new to try.

They finished making my dessert then I mentioned offhand that I had a nut allergy and they insisted on remaking it due to the cross contamination, even when I said I would probably be fine and even when they were about to close. They offered the contaminated dessert to my family members and the gelato I had was very good. Thanks for great service.
