The food was a low quality, the service was good and quick service. The people should aks how the tip is split between staff. After speak with some of the waiters i belive. Most part go to managment and supervisor and no much is from waiter and other low rank staff. They said to us the manager decided how to split the pot and press staff to do extra hours. I find this disgusting

El restaurante es muy bonito, el servicio por parte de los camareros,muy bien,pero la comida,fue horrible,pocas cantidades,y de comida española,ni parecerse por casualidad Éramos 3 adultos,pedimos unos pinchos andaluces (que tenian poco de andaluces) y nos pusieron 2,osea un desastre,calamares a la romana,igualmente en un plato de postre,tocamos a 1 calamar por persona,pedimos también u as gambas,las trajeron en una cazuela pequeña,tocamos a una gamba x cabeza,y la cuarta a repartir De precio,como la mayoría de restaurantes que fuimos en Edimburgo,pero encima poca cantidad y nada que ver con las tapas españolas Para nosotros fue una decepcion

Dinner with my friend Shirley & a good catch-up. Lots of tapas Irish coffee & a pudding. It was amazing all washed down with a bottle of cheeky chardonnay, would recommend to everyone & very reasonable prices.

Always have lovely food and wine here with my partner. Service is always brilliant too. The Padron Peppers are my favourite 😀

Excellent tapas in a nice atmosphere with friendy staff. The sangria was nice and, as we had a voucher, the price was fabulous value for money! In such a central location, it is probably best to book - even early evening. Already booked to revisit!

We went here pre-theatre at 5pm and had 3 tapas courses each under the lunch menu selections for just £18.95 each. The portions were very generous and were so tasty and brilliantly prepared. This was my first visit, but we will definitely be back and now plan to visit regularly. The tastes and textures were amazing, and the quality of the ingredients was first class.

Lovely tapas, they were delicious but the food score was let down by the mixed paella we shared as it was very dry, almost like it had been baked (& for too long) but we loved the tapas and service and atmosphere were great

Really nice building and in general the food was nice. I had a prawn dish (part of the 3 tapas lunch deal) which was plain but the other two tapas were great. Service was prompt which didn't affect the dishes

We were seated towards the front so atmosphere felt a bit hollow. Food was good though.

The individual dishes are fine, but the fish paella is terribly disgusting. Far from what these should be unfortunately. There are definitely better alternatives in Edinburgh.

Excellent food, service and staff

Came with my other half completely oblivious to it being Mothers Day! They made a reservation for us with no issues, great service and fantastic food - even offering the Mothers Day Special Menu 😄. The variety on offer was wonderful and the drinks menu good. Would definitely recommend!

The food fell rather short of the expectations. The seafood was not fresh and not well executed. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Fell in love with the exterior Spanish Named City catching your eye. The interiors were with vibrant colors, intricate designs, and cultural elements that make you feel like you’re in Spain itself. The combination of traditional and modern elements created a unique and inviting atmosphere. Cannot visualise it completely in the pictures you have to experience it yourself.

Went on a busy Festival Sunday evening. Only got a sangria picture as my phone battery died. Lovely food and very filling. Group of 3 and 3 tapas each. Lovely food and combinations. Be back soon.

The food is hit or miss, the calamari was tasty and well fried despite being a bit heavily salted, and the croquettes were fairly good, but the patatas bravas and the gambas pil pil were a let down. The patatas tasted better in the gambas sauce than in the marinara-esque red sauce it came with. Service was good, atmosphere was very good. Reasonably priced. Outdoors provides for good people watching.

The food is greatly appreciated by someone who comes from other latitudes and is not used to Scottish cuisine.

We were in this restaurant located in Aberdeen and the truth is, the tapas were decent, but when we visited the one in Edinburgh, the experience was horrible, for having a Spanish owner, you can't serve such a bad paella. Without any flavor, the seafood was two mussels and two prawns, with 4 squid rings like chewing gum. We do not recommend it at all. They charged us 5 pounds for 3 slices of Bimbo bread.

Food is very mediocre. Expected flavors of Spain but was not much like our Spanish experience.

Indicated also for a coffee or tea. Vibrant Spanish atmosphere

Had an excellent sharing menu here. The staff were brilliant and very accommodating, especially to dietary requirements within the group highly recommend.

We had a great time here. The food was excellent. The menu has more vegetarian options since last time we went. The atmosphere was nice although a little bit loud.

Really disappointed. Food taste was average to OK but the sizes was disappointing for the price. Although with all of this, the service was the worst thing I have had. The young lady with blonde was extremely rude, kept walking away and ignoring us, asked where the toilet is, walked straight past, had to ask for plates and forks etc, walking away before finishing what she has to do and only interested in tables she wanted to serve. Constantly staring and made us feel really uncomfortable and awkward. Would never recommend or come back. I do have to add that one of the male waiters was nice.

Ambience was great, making it seem like the place was on the posh end, but unfortunately our food was under-seasoned and definitely not price matching. We ordered two paellas to share between 4 people. Plus, the pina colada I ordered was sour and watery for a traditionally sweet and creamy drink. But to their credit, we were given fresh garlic mayo free of charge when requested, to go with the paella. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating but we probably won’t be returning.

Amazing place with fantastic food and very friendly staff! This was really an extraordinary experience. We loved it and would recommend this restaurant to everybody. Every tapas and every desert we had tasted delicious and the people were very helpful and friendly.

Met family here for lunch, really nice food and drink, service was a little slow but other than that a lovely lunch. I'm not a massive fan of tapas normally but this was really good, nice sized dishes and I would strongly recommend the scallops.

Relaxed atmosphere and food in large portions

Tapas were great and so was the Sangria. A little crowded and noisy which is typical for an authentic Spanish restaurant feel. Recommended!

We ate at this restaurant twice on our 3-day visit to Edinburgh. The size of their tapas is pretty good. 2 of us ate plenty with one dinner salad each, and shared 3 tapas. Really tasty dishes. Except for the churros, wouldn't recommend them.

We just stopped for drinks for a break from the rain. Pleasantly surprised at how lovely the restaurant was and we loved our cocktails- were delicious! Lovely service too.

Staying with family in Edinburgh for a couple of days and lunch was arranged at this seafood restaurant. Firstly if you have mobility issues the stairs up to the restaurant are a challenge and I didn't see a lift so be warned. Secondly, never assume ot won't be monsoon season in Edinburgh either. It lashed it down whilst I was there but that's by the by. Right then on arrival had to find someone to show us to a table, we chose as it was far from rammed on Thursday lunchtime. Service after that was very good, thankyou Maria. Menu very good and what we had was served in good time, hot and flavoursome. I've had better fish and chips from gastro pubs so expected more but ot was perfectly eatable (when did it become mandatory to serve chips in a Diddy galvanised bucket?!) No disabled facilities probably because if you do have any challenges you couldn't get up the stairs, three flights of them, anyway. For a city centre restaurant more than happy with my visit there. Wide offering on the menu and most of the dishes are good, but they all seem a bit ready-made, frozen and reheated, even the paella isn't that great. The place is very large, has many seats and a Spanish style, the seats are very uncomfortable. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. Relatively expensive compared to the quality and quantity offered.

Beautiful restaurant we found on George Street. Great service. Ordered Paella for 2, came in 30min as promised.

I truly wish we had gotten a picture of the food before we went to town on it, but my goodness the moment it hit the table my family was all over it. This was easily the best food we had throughout the entire week we spent in Scotland. It's shocking it's not on more tourist lists of "Best of Edinburgh". Do the evening special of four tapas per person at the table for the special pricing because you will be able to crush it all. Drinks are great, food is amazing - just go and give it a try.

It was a small, intimate, extremely high quality and delicious place... we had a very enjoyable evening... the seafood was very delicious and the staff was extremely caring, caring and friendly.

Food was good and it all came quickly / at the same time. We were upstairs and it was exceedingly noisy so couldn't really hear each other. Service otherwise was a little slow and struggled to get their attention. Update. Food was still good. Service was better this time round. Food all came at once. Was quieter (i.e. not noisy)this time round, so no issues on that front though it was a mid afternoon meal. Favourite tapas restaurant in Edinburgh.

Hormis la salle immense, typiquement décorée, et la musique, le reste ne vaut pas le détour. Soi-disant espagnol, mais juste sans odeur ni saveur pour quelqu’un comme moi qui vient de là-bas. C’est décevant, sans goût, service d’une cantine bien que le personnel soit sympathique. Passez votre chemin ou alors tente le Cadiz juste à côté .

Great food as always but very, very rushed. I had to say twice I was not finished as they were trying to take away unfinished dishes! Whole lunch complete in 45 minutes on a Saturday afternoon.

Book or visit early as you might be disappointed. When we visited the place was very very busy with every table being used. Staff/Service: The staff were excellent, very friendly, polite and attentive. The service couldn't be faulted, although very busy we were well looked after. Food: Plenty on the menu for everyone. Tapas appears to be very popular, however after a starter we selected the paella to share with a jug of sangria. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, there was no rush and due to picking the paella we were informed that there would be a 30 minute delay in preparing it (also mentioned on the menu). We were happy to wait and glad we did, sampling the calamari while we waited. There is a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant.

This is one of my favourite places. Recently we have used an itison voucher for 2 at £39.99 and it is exceptionally good value. Never had a bad meal and staff always very friendly and knowledgeable about their menus. Love it here.

Good afternoon, I would like to give my opinion and confirm the opinions of other Spanish clients, yesterday we went to eat at the local Coffee Andaluz and the truth is we left very dissatisfied, the truth is that the girl who served us was very friendly and attentive but we left with a bad taste of mouth here because. 1 - They brought us two Coca-Colas in which both were dirty and another had lipstick on it. 2- The chicken and the sausage were cold and the sauce did not resemble chimichurry. 3- Bravas potatoes were poorly cooked, a lot of oil, and the brava sauce does not have aioli at first, so it was not hot. 4- Chorizo ​​with wine was not very poor quality chorizo, it looked like Frankfurt sausages and full of cold oil 5- prawns pil pil five cold prawns cold oil without bread without seasoning and without chili and without garlic which is unacceptable for prawns even if they are of such low quality. 6- Iberian table was completely small for £14.45 3 pieces of manchego three pieces of hamon that on the menu said serrano iberico that has not seen Iberia in its life poor quality chorizo ​​and also 3 pieces. 7 - Calamari there was no texture, there was no seasoning in the cut squid, which is unacceptable, poorly breaded and very badly cooked. 8- The bread was uncooked, so we expected a toasted bread with oil and vinegar where there was no salt in the vinegar. 9- The restaurant does not look Spanish anywhere, the waiters, one who was Spanish, what I would expect in a Spanish restaurant, the music was Cuban, which has nothing to do with Spain, and the decoration seemed Thai. In the kitchen the Tapoco chef is Spanish which surprised me quite a bit given that there is usually at least one who is Spanish. 10 - the price of the entire meal was £84.80 In total it cost £93.28 for two people. 11 THE FAMOUS CROQUETTES WERE FROZEN IN THE BAG WHICH I WOULD NEVER EXPECT £7.45 THERE WERE ONLY 4 WHICH CAME TO MORE OR LESS AT 1.55 THE CROQUETTE THE SAUCE WAS NOT ALIOLI AS IT SHOULD BE WE SPENT 5 OR 6 TIMES IN THE BATHROOM UNTIL THE DOOR RUNNING AND THE MIRROR GLASS WAS QUIET IN JOKE THE TRUTH WE WON'T BE BACK BECAUSE WE WOULD LIKE TO EAT IN A SPANISH PLACE BUT THE CROQUTAS KILLED US HOW LAXANT COULD WORK I THINK THEY HAVE GOT THE WRONG BUSINESS. 

So, beautiful place to meet with friends. Clean, and very friendly service. But the food.... the food is like fast food but served on the plate. I think everything is overpriced probably because of the city centre. Don't know, whether to recommend it or not. You need to try it yourself.

Visted her when i was over from Spain visiting friends. It is maybe okay for tourists but a lot of the food is fried and not fresh which is not very typical spanish for me.

Un desastre. Ni restaurante, ni español, ni mucho menos andaluz. Solo uno de los vinos era andaluz, el resto catalanes. Ninguno de los camareros hablaba español. La comida impostada. Carísimo.

I don’t understand why this place is described as “romantic” when it’s full of nattering troglodyte Benidorm people.

A sort of fast food Tapas bar done for a Scottish crowd.. Its quick and attentive service was good, they were very busy and plates appeared very quickly. Strips of beef in a sauce with rocket was nice but £12 ?? C’mon eh ! Tattie bravas were soft and almost mushy. A couple of other underwhelming plates and a cocktail at a tenner. Ooofffttt… George St shows its colours. A wee man at a bar in Seville would be wondering whats going on here.. Its not bad.. just not great. Tapa for me… is for a small dish with a drink… hey-ho.. move on.

The food was just okay and the service not that great for a 10% of the service charge included in the bill.

Had some great tapas tonight and a lovely desert. So glad we found this place lovely atmosphere, great service, we would definitely return.

Average... food let it down. We had 6 plates. There was chewy pork skewer with a very basic yoghurt dressing seemed precooked very early in day and only slightly warm. Tough beef small pieces on some rocket with a red pepper sauce which i found unusually bitter. Lamb was tender enjoyed it but still lacked flavour. I liked the bread, patatas bravas, mushrooms and aubergine dishes we quiet good. On the positive it is a lovely restaurant with beautiful decore and spannish music playing. Very noisy though when busy hard to chat. Staff were friendly but seemed rushed at times. Nice place to meet up with a friend for a drink and a small bite of ok food but I don't recommend for good Spannish Tapas which I was so looking forward to given so many 5 star reviews.

Our hen party visited cafe andaluz on Friday. The food and drinks were all delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our servers Iwana and Lakshmi were always checking if there was anything they could do for us and would go out their way to meet our needs.

O restaurante é lindamente decorado e a gente se sente como se, de repente, tivesse mudado de país! A comida é deliciosa, pude matar a saudade dos deliciosos pratos de Sevilha e da sangria! O atendimento é perfeito e a equipe muito atenciosa. Agradeço principalmente ao gerente, que, infelizmente não sei o nome, mas que foi super gentil comigo nas três vezes em que fui lá! Sim! Eu entrei para tomar um chá de manhãzinha, voltei para almoçar e, no dia seguinte, voltei para jantar! Maravilhoso o lugar!

I love this place, it’s Spanish tapas and the food is really good. My personal favourites are the black pudding with apple chutney and the chicken in honey sauce. I was there with friends for a catch up, we arrived at 2pm and eventually got asked to leave about 6pm as they needed the table. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meals. The staff were friendly and attentive and all our food came out at the same time(there was nine of us). One of my friends is in a wheelchair, just inform if this is the case and they bring you in at the side and they have a wheelchair lift and the disabled toilet on the same floor. Great place for a catch up with fantastic food.

This used to be one of our favourite restaurants in Edinburgh and we have been many times over the years but have noticed lately that the quality of the food isn't as good as it used to be and the prices have all gone up. The Andalusian salad was supposed to have artichoke but there was only one small piece. Most of the salad was lettuce and yet it cost over £7. The pork skewers were cold and the patatas bravas portion was smaller than before and seemed a bit watery. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of the food was still tasty but compared to what it used to be like, it is sad to see the quality decline.

Excellent experience. Wide variety of excellent dishes. My family of four were visiting Edinburgh for three days and chose to dine here twice. Excellent portions, atmosphere and staff. Nathan was very kind to us and recognized us the second night and spent time with us. Highly recommended.
