Pret A Manger in Edinburgh, City of

Estaba esperando un tren para llegar a casa y quería tomar una bebida caliente en mi viaje. Estaba en el vestíbulo de la estación y hay una tienda Pret a Manger cerca de los andenes, así que decidí ir allí. Recibí un cordial saludo del miembro del personal de guardia y tomó mi pedido y pagué. No tuve mucho tiempo para esperar mi bebida y seguí mi camino. Había un par de otros empleados de guardia que estaban ocupados abasteciéndose y ordenando. El restaurante estaba limpio y acogedor.

Extremely warm service staff despite long queues during peak hour at the Waverley station. There was an issue with my credit card + their machine and the staff member (unfortunately didn't get his name) was extremely helpful and even eased out all payment processes.

Went in to get coffee at 06:30am after getting off the train and whilst waiting on my drink, two rats ran out from under the counter and then proceeded to run around the shop floor.

Cuando estaba pidiendo café en este Pret, me di cuenta de que había perdido mi teléfono con un tren en 10 minutos (!) Y recibí mucha ayuda del personal; no sé su nombre sino un miembro del personal (creo administración, él estaba usando verde y blanco en lugar de rojo y blanco?) me permitió usar un teléfono durante casi una hora tratando de rastrear mi teléfono, incluso ofreciéndome sugerencias sobre qué hacer para encontrarlo. No hubiera podido encontrar mi teléfono si no fuera por la amabilidad de este miembro del personal, por lo que vine aquí para asegurarme de que esto se supiera. ¡Gracias amable amable! Ps la sopa que tuve mientras hacía las llamadas fue muy agradable :)

El alcance y la velocidad del servicio eran los que esperaba de Pret, vastos y rápidos. Pero desafortunadamente, al preguntar sobre opciones veganas, se nos presentó una respuesta aburrida, y el personal podría haber sido más amable.

Tomé un café y un sándwich mientras esperaba el tren. Muy ocupado. Buena selección de comida y bebidas. Precios razonables, personal agradable.

今早8:52坐Virgin Rail 到 伯明翰，酒店沒包早餐，時間有點趕，決定在火車站買些吃的。火車站內也有其他快餐連鎖店如costa coffee，但這𥚃三明治選擇多，選了個牛油果小𧎚三文冶4.19鎊，跟香港價格差不多。兩收銀員有效率，毋須排很長籠。店內沒太多坐的地方，大多都是外賣取走的

Locale carino e facilmente raggiungibile all'interno della stazione con self-service e la possibilità di scegliere cose buone da mangiare per una pausa tra una visita e un'altra durante un viaggio o una vacanza. La zuppa del giorno è sempre una garanzia come pure i tramezzini, quelli al salmone per me sono il top, ma anche le insalate e i dessert. Interessante anche il confezionamento e la possibilità di asporto. Per noi durante le vacanze è un porto sicuro!

This is not a huge cafe and there are none of the usual tables and comfortable chairs. There is, however, a bar with high stools facing onto the station. I was served very quickly and I did ask if there was any additional seating as the bar was full. The very cheerful and polite lady apologised that there wasnt but, as it was so full, offered and gave me a 10% discount. Brilliant service and, as it happened, a seat very soon became vacant The food and coffee were, as usual at Pret, great. 4 stars only because of the lack of comfortable seating, otherwise it was first class.
