Let me just point out to the most objectionable and unpleasant human being that posted the toxic review on the 15th July. Firstly, stay at home and do not tarnish a beautiful village and friendly tearoom with your acrimonious and toxic personality. Secondly, I have been coming to the Lomond Tearoom since it opened. The family run business is the friendliest place you could ever have the good fortune to visit. The food and service is excellent and the staff and owners are friendly and welcoming. Anybody visiting Falkland should visit and enjoy the wonderful tearoom.

Tuvimos un almuerzo encantador allí, buena comida y un personal muy acogedor. La zona de asientos es un poco pequeña pero aún así volvería.

Visited this little gem in Goose Green, bacon butties, teas and coffee with a great atmosphere and welcoming smile from the owner. Thank you for a great visit.

Went last minute with a group of 10 people and 2 dogs after another booking in the area had fallen through, they happily sat us for food and drinks. Really nice staff and good food with something on the menu for everyone. They were very happy to have the dogs and brought them water.

We really enjoyed our stay here, gorgeous set up with a lovely shop and cafe serving some of the nicest cake I have ever eaten. Lots to do in the area. We'd been to a dog friendly distillery nearby which is why we were in the area. Grass pitch for motorhome had a nice view over the hils, clean toilet and hot water for showers. Very quiet overnight, there was some road noise in the evening but nothing in the small hours. Quaint little gem of a place, would definitely stay again if in the area.

Bar was busy and service was slow. Waited approx 50 mins for food. Once we had our main course, we asked for a desert. We were told it was too late and the kitchen was closed. This was 8.15pm! My husband raised this when he paid our bill. He was told it was a new server who didn't know any better and they could have sorted something for us but by this time it was too late. We would never have gone there if we knew we had to have finished eating by 8.15pm. Won't return. Very disappointed as this is local to us however customer service not up to scratch.

Muddy Boots is the perfect farm café. The staff were all friendly and helpful and my bacon and egg roll was perfect, it was hot and very nicely cooked, as was my wife’s bacon roll. My coffee was steaming hot which is just how I like it served. The café is warm and comfortable with a very interesting central log fire. One slight downside, I had to ask for a spoon when my coffee came, I then had to ask for a knife to cut my roll when that came, and my wife had to then go and ask for napkins. These are minor details just for info for the owner as overall it was a really pleasant visit.

Bought a great double espresso and slice of lemon cake as a takeaway option. Always good service and the staff are very friendly. I try to stop here when I can on my way to or from Perth. The Lemon cake was lovely with just the right amount of icing and had a sweet tangy lemon jam in a delicious sponge.

Stopped off here this evening whilst out for a drive in the area.A real 'old style' chip shop, which was busy when I entered. I had a bit of a wait, but this wasn't a problem as far as I was concerned, as I would rather have my food cooked fresh anyway.I ordered a chipsteak with chips, and a single King Rib to go with it.The lady serving was very pleasant.Even the prices charged were 'old style', which was favourable to my pocket! For example, I noticed the price of a large fish & chips was £5. There are not many places where you can get a large fish supper for £5 nowadays!A typical old style chippie, takeaway only, that also had juice and sweeties available to purchase.A very good experience, and enjoyable food.

Dharshini should not be a manager here. Shocking rude service. Was told it was physically impossible to put garlic mayo on my sub after it was toasted . I said buy why, because sir it's just not possible, when I assured her it was my sandwich and I just wanted the mayo on it she continued to say but sir it has been toasted so it's not possible, I ended up having to buy a tub of garlic mayo and put it on the sandwich IN FRONT OF HER because she said it was impossible, argued with me in front of a giant que of customers. Training a young member of staff also, disgusted by the way she shouted at me over such a small inconvenience to her. No brain , acting like a robot , never ever seen such bad service at a subway in my entire life. Deserves to be fired or retrained

Before you order any food, just check the catering staff will stay longer enough. I booked a table here on a Friday evening at 7pm. It's like a large hall with kitchen tables & chairs with a bar at one end. The staff were welcoming. I ordered from a limited menu and the food was good and value for the money. Before 8pm I tried to order a sweet only to be told the catering had gone home! I know I was the only one in the pub (some sat outside), but it would've been nice to be informed the staff were leaving early.
