Visited this little gem in Goose Green, bacon butties, teas and coffee with a great atmosphere and welcoming smile from the owner. Thank you for a great visit.

The Galley Cafe is a great place to get an inexpensive meal if you are in the Goose Green/ Darwin Region of East Falkland Island. The lady who works there is very friendly and they offer traditional English food items. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. By Gregg L. Friedman MD

We called in while travelling what is known as the M5 circular road on East Falklands, and visited several places remembered from the Falklands conflict. It was nice to stop of at the Galley cafe where we were the only people at the time and has the opportunity to chat with the owners. A small place and it would not be easy to classify it as a great restuaqrent but good home cooekd meals available to visitors; they also cater cor the shearing gangs during the season so it c\n get very busy then..

Lovely informal Turkish restaurant with friendly staff. Excellent food and wines and good value for money. Managed to park on the street which was a bonus

My experience at Nando’s St Andrews, I will have to say, was far from pleasant. Me and a friend visited on a Sunday evening, looking to motivate ourselves after a lengthy studying experience, with more to come. However, our time at Nando’s did no such thing. First of all, we were met with unbecoming staff, who seemed not to be busy, and we were made to wait for an extended period of time before we were shown to our seats. I will have to say the food arrived quickly, but this might be one of the only upsides to our visit. Unfortunately, when our server came with our food, they leant directly over us to place it down, which I would have assumed to be taught against in basic server etiquette. Having felt disgruntled with this, we dug in to our food, but were disappointed to find that the chips were poorly and unevenly seasoned. Moreover, having been to Nando’s frequently in the past, I noticed that the chips seemed different and worse than previously. I would be interested to know if Nando’s had implemented a new recipe, or it was an instance of improper preparation. It is safe to be said that I will not be returning in a hurry.
