Good place for lunch. No thrills tasty food. Waitress today (Italian I think) was excellent.

We were staying in the village for a week and ate at The Ardentinny on three evenings, and had excellent meals each time. Well presented and good sized portions. The menu is fairly small, but well varied, with an obvious use of local products where possible. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and it is dog friendly. (Just check their opening hours during the off season) Highly recommended !

I have enjoyed the stay I would love to come back again because everything was top 10 excellent the room was clean service was perfect and the location was great it was next to the sea you could see the sea from where u was I would love to come back again

I had booked lunch for a party of six for 1pm 14th February. The staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was freshly made and excellent and although we had a three-course meal, I had forgotten that I had also ordered a cake to celebrate my wedding day. I took it home with me to enjoy later and it was amazing. Great food, very reasonably priced and we all had a great time. Thank you so much guys you made my day even more special.

We popped in here for some cake on the way back from Glenfinnan. The cakes looked delicious - and my daughter devoured my partner's raspberry scone, even though she said she didn't want any! At first I though there would be no vegan option for me. I'm not vegan but I am allergic to dairy and eggs. But the team were so helpful with the chef triple checking the ingredients on two options. I'm so pleased when you get service like this. Picked up a vegan cook book while I was there.

Brilliant pub staff are fantastic

Simply brilliant. Great food, and amazing service. The flexibility and care Dylan and Maggie showed to accommodate complex dietary requirements was a lifesaver! They went about above and beyond and really cared for our whole family, throughout our stay on Colonsay. They not only fed us in the pantry but made up suitable meals for our children to takeaway helping us to make the best of our short stay on this beautiful island. I cannot sing their praise highly enough and recommend a visit to the pantry as a must for anyone visiting Colonsay.

We found this to be a very interesting book shop with lots of crafts and other interesting items to browse and look at. Clothes and good coffee and cakes upstairs. All good quality stuff - no ‘tat’ but interesting as well. Worth a visit.

A hidden gem! Cycling around Dunoon and stopped here for a coffee! A bookstore crammed with an eclectic mix of books, which also doubles as a gift shop and serves coffee and cake! Lovely service!

You'll never find another pub like it, brilliant. Also, it is very entertaining when you get a good crowd. Highly recommend

The worst ice cream ever! It was so old that it had the frozen crystals and also tasted gummy like it was sitting in the freezer for an eternity. I’m not sure if it was due to being before their busy season, but it shouldn’t have been served for almost 4 BP a cup. Customer service was also lacking.

Friendly staff good roll and sausage

First time visiting Hooked, may I say I'm HOOKED!!! This is by far the nicest fish and peas I've ever had. Definitely be visiting more on my visit here. I dined in and the staff were really friendly. Thank you 😊 Janine

An amazing cafe with amazing food and staff, our go to place for lunch, can't recommend enough. The food is super and made with local ingredients, homemade baking and ice cream is second to none. Be sure to visit and even if your not staying on Lismore the ferry trip from Oban is worth it.
