Been here a few time. Fiona is great and does a mean coffee and scone. Have alwasy bought some artwork from here . worth a visit. Defo worth a lookm

Table booked on 24/12/2019 for 9 people to have lunch on 5th Jan 2019. We were told when ordering our drinks that they had only one can of diet coke!! Bad start. One hour after our arrival no food had been brought to the table. Eventually starters were served. Food average. When we asked for salad cream for a salad it was to be told that they didn't have any! I ordered fish and chips and was told they didn't have any fish ' only scampi. Attitude to customers was take it or leave it! I felt they had let us down and Dalry down. We will not go back there again.

Quite a mixed review here! Parts of Ooh Mami I liked and other parts need improving. The extensive drinks menu is exciting, the decor is quirky and the quiz was great fun! The bar is dog friendly too which is a bonus. The service was really quite slow unfortunately. It was table service but we found we had to just go up and order as there wasn’t many checks at the table. Food took a while to come too. The loaded fries weren’t really loaded, they just had a sprinkling of coconut on top, the sticky, honey glaze was non-existent. A few tweaks here and there and I would definitely review more positively.

Great Expierance, my kids loved it. Staff were very friendly & my Latte was delicious. Kids loved their snack boxes, plenty choice for them.

OK technically. We went in around 3.20, to be told that as it closes at 4.00 only takeaway cups were available. A black mark from me. My coffee and my wife’s tea were tasty. At my age (high 70’s) going into a cafe for a drink is usually because a sit down is desired. Equally a proper cup and saucer. It was not said, but probably we should have sat outside. After 10 minutes all the other chairs were being turned upside down on the tables.

We stumbled upon this little gem when in Peebles. The lady serving us was so friendly, down to earth and so chatty, helping us pick from the menu as we were so indecisive about the great choices! She also advised on the cakes as well and didn’t it disappoint. The carrot cake was superb, the best we have ever tasted and the size was huge! We were in heaven. Thank you for our lovely food. Make sure you visit dellas if ever in Peebles, you won’t be disappointed

Dog friendly cafe & the food was fantastic - their special hot chicken sandwich was amazing!! V friendly staff and highly recommend

The food was creative. Asparagus ice cream desert, superb, Basque cheese cake, delicious, sauce with pork delicious, leak starter with small mussels, the best. The selection of wine is excellent.

Lovely spot for drinks or snacks. Great drinks options and a new menu which was fab to try! The food was lovely and lots of options big or small!

Excellent meal, food was extremely tasty with generous helpings, great service and exceptional value. I would strongly recommend visiting.

Great place for breakfast! Wide selection on the menu, delicious food and smoothies, and a friendly proprietor. We’ll be coming back for sure.

We have been regulars to the Herringbone Goldenacre and now the Herringbone Abbeyhill. Unfortunately our last visit to the latter was a complete disaster. The restaurant specialises on burgers and offer one gourmet burger amongst the choices. This time the 'gourmet' burger was venison. The burger was incredibly salty to the point of poisoning and tasted awful. We obviously alerted the waitress who was extremely receptive to our predicament and offered and alternative. Of course by the time the alternative arrived the other people in our group had finished their food so the enjoyment of sharing food with friends was totally ruined. We were disappointed that the chef did not own the obvious error and the management offered to charge us half of the price of the alternative in lieu of compensation. However, 10/10 for the waiting staff who were extremely courteous and understanding of the situation.

I ordered a burger and it was delicious, the best burger I have eaten in Scotland
