Popped in after reading a review in the P&J online and was not disappointed. We both ordered the empanadas (chicken, prawn and pulled beef) and they were lovely. Stuffed full with meat and the best fresh salsa and chimichurri to go with them. Everything was made fresh but was worth the small wait. We will defo be back

Wow Wow Wow!! One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Aberdeen for a VERY long time. Delicious authentic South American cuisine in a beautifully decorated restaurant. The service is first class too. Incredible value for the quality of food. I lived in Colombia for a year in 2017 and miss the food (empanadas, arepas y teqeńos) so much! Tucán brought all the memories flooding back. Thank you! Will be back again soon!

Visited with my daughter on a Tuesday lunch. Opted for the Express Menu which is £18 for starter and main. Lovely, bright restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing and great value. Recommend the pulled beef quesadillas …delicious. We both really enjoyed our dishes. We would have given it 5 stars but as said in previous reviews the service was very slow. There was only the two of us and a table of four. Would return though!

Been to the Rosemount Tucan loads, but this was my first time at the new one on Belmont street. Just as great an experience! So so good. Food was tasty and cooked perfectly. My partner had the steak and it was delicious and cooked exactly how he wanted it. I had the aprepas which was great too. I know the service can be slower, but if you know to expect that, then you can relax and just enjoy being there with a cocktail or beer.

Visited for the first time with a group of 11 and had a fantastic evening. Drink service was slightly slow however this didn't bother us and the cocktails are amazing. The absolute highlight is the food, it is some of the best food I have tasted in a restaurant for some time. The pulled beef is out of this world!

Heard a lot of good things abound it this place but we were really disappointed. We gave ourselves an hour and 15 minutes for a pre-theatre dinner but we had to leave before our main course. The service was so slow and we did complain but nothing happened. We did get the calamari starter but it was obviously frozen and really stodgy. We left having paid for what we ate and drank and didn’t get compensated in any way. We definitely won’t eat here again which is a shame because the waiting staff and the front of house guy were really nice.

We came to the Belmont Street venue on Sunday afternoon. The food was excellent. The service was good. The bill was £20 for two people which was good value. I’d recommend the empanadas… will definitely come back again.

Disappointed in the slow service. Waited 40 minutes for food. Food excellent when it finally arrived. Did get reduction in final bill for length of time we had to wait

Been here several times, the menu offers a mixture of Latin American food from Venezuela, Brasil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and more. Service is great and food is prepared in the moment, so everything is fresh. Staff is fantastic and very attentive. They recently opened up a new venue at 47 Belmont St. with greater capacity, and expanded the menu. You won't be leaving this place disappointed. After having eaten in every other restaurant in Aberdeen that serves Latin style food, and having grown in South America myself, I can honestly say this is by far the best true to origin Latin food in town. Five Stars - 200% recommended

Unexpectedly good. Lovely cafe setting with personable service, fantastic food that you can’t believe comes out of the small kitchen. Plus the drinks choices were great. Highly recommend the sangria. Cannot recommend the tasting menu enough. Nothing like this in Aberdeen

Authentic Latin cuisine in rosemount! I had lunch with my wife here, she had the salad and I had the panelling which I hadn’t eaten since I lived in Venezuela. Really good Service is friendly but the food is cooked to order so be patient. Location is wrong on tripadvisor. It’s actually on the corner of wallfield place and rosemount place, correctly shown on Google.

Really like the food here and the friendly relaxed atmosphere, having discovered it in a thunderstorm a few weeks ago. Caters for everyone with lots of choice. My boyfriend found the bacon in his bacon roll a bit crispy but maybe we’re nit picking? I’m now a convert because the food is different, tasty and reasonable . Boyfriend also a fan of the mellow americano he gets here. Of course we shall be back! But when will you be?

Highly recommend Tucan we had a fantastic evening here last week. Very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We had a very warm welcome on arrival and the restaurant wasn’t overcrowded. The food was amazing. Four starters and four main meals tasting menu followed by dessert. Red & white wine and cocktails. Can’t wait to go back.

The word inspiration equals impunity because the food has nothing Jamaican about it, the prices are astronomical and the portions are ridiculously small (4 slices of banana £4.50) which doesn't even make 1 full banana ridiculous🙄. The Jerk sauce is yellow (I've never seen one like that). The flavor isn't there which is an insult to Jamaican cuisine. Now I don't know if this is due to there being no Jamaicans in the kitchen or if it was adapted for the Scottish palate 🤷🏾 ♀️

Came in last night with a friend for some birthday drinks. I’ve been before and it was great.. just not this time. As soon as we sat down we ordered drinks on the app so we could chat.. about 15 mins then they arrived. I then placed another order for the same drinks. 20 mins past and nothing.. another 10 went by we asked someone about the drinks. She wrote down the order, took a photo of the order and time that I had ordered them and said she would get it rushed along. We are approaching 40 mins since I ordered.. we have a table booked for food at 7:30 so I went up to see where they were. Finally after 45 mins we got the drinks then had to down them as we were going to be late for our next table. What’s the point of the app service if you can’t handle it?

This place is TERRIBLE! VERY overpriced, food is terrible and the staff all have a face tripping them! Small bottle of water-£2.50 Glass of Pepsi-£4 Twix-£2.20 The worst steak iv had in my life £28! The bathrooms are worn, they have had a lick of paint but still the same old tiles, the taps in the shower and in the sink must be from the 80s as well. The TV is so old it’s not even compatible with your phone. TERRIBLE!
