I ordered a drink and they gave me another, even though the waiter showed me which one it would be. They made another one. Worth £30. Much smaller than it was worth. I will never go back to this place again!

Love this place. Food is great and the cocktails are fab. Especially in love with the Espresso rum-tini. They often have awesome offers on too. Definitely recommend for a girls day/night out or a date night.

Loved the music and the drinks.

I went here with a friend, we had cocktails which were great. The staff were very attentive. But the food! Awful. We ordered tapas. We had the chicken tacos, which were so dry it was incredible. Albondigas which were in a bland gravy. Empanadas that had almost nothin in them, they were hollow. Halloumi which was alright but on a bed of uncooked sliced carrots. Veggie nachos that had almost nothing on them, just a plate of tortilla chips. Then I had a brownie which was stone cold and my pal had the pina colada cheesecake which was still frozen in the middle. And it wasn’t cheap. Very disappointed. Won’t be back.

Service was great, the staff were lovely. The cocktails were also brilliant. Just don’t bother heading here for food. We had tapas. Chicken tacos, were super dry. Albondigas were tasteless in a bland gravy. Halloumi was alright. Empanadas with black beans had about 4-5 small beans inside, pretty much hollow. Veggie nachos had almost nothing on them, just a plate of tortilla chips. And to top it off, the pina colada cheesecake was still frozen in the middle, and my brownie was cold. As I say, cocktails great! Atmosphere spot on but maybe dine somewhere else.

Fantastic bar with great food and amazing cocktails. Good vibes only! Big shout out to Russell the general manager he runs a tight ship and is one of the friendliest and kindest men I know. The team are also all amazing and great at their jobs. Great place for events, for meeting pals, for sitting in to do work, for a night out and for salsa 💃 Go check it out!

My husband and I had a great time at Rev de Cuba, the tapas we tried were all delicious and the cocktails were amazing! There were only 2 members of staff working while we were there, which was fine for a while but as it got busier, you could tell they were stressed. I want to say, I was very impressed with how well these 2 handled it! One on the floor, one on the bar, it was a lot of work for them and I really respect that they were transparent with us about how attentive they could be and could tell that is something they usually pride themselves on. Will definitely be returning! We highly recommend!

Thursday mid afternoon, not very busy, but clearly understaffed. Waited over 30 minutes after getting table to be served, then another 15 to actually get drinks and food. Require more staff. Saw a table of 3 come in, sit down, wait, then leave. NOT GOOD. Management need to address staff issue.

Cocktail Master Class! Cannot recommend this enough. Something for everyone. Loved learning the back ground and getting to try how these cocktails once began and then compare them to now. Great fun, suits all ages and we were very lucky to have Callum, who was incredible at keeping everyone engaged. Great fun games and left with a new found appreciation for bar tenders- what an absolute art. Thanks again Callum and Rev de Cuba Aberdeen for what was described as the best birthday ever!

I found booking a bit tricky. They didn't seem to take phone bookings only online and they took card details so they could charge if we didn't turn up. It wasn't easy to find prices on the website either and we only found out the lunch deal was off over the Christmas period when we got there, though it might be in the small print somewhere. Otherwise all went well. Food and prices as expected. Not cheap but somewhere different to go, looking out over a quiet pedestrian square.

Had a lovely meal and drinks with my husband. We had pre-dinner cocktails following by shared tapas and dessert. The staff were so friendly and attentive, especially Julia. This mod one of our favourite venues in Aberdeen.

Only popped in for cocktails on a quiet Sunday night. Turned out they were on special for 6 pound each. Not bad for Aberdeen. Staff were friendly.

I have been to Revolucion de Cuba Aberdeen many times for the last 7 years. Today, I went in for a casual Halloween get-together with my friends. My surprise came when I was not allowed in, apparently because it was full. However, a lot of people were going in at the same time I was refused entry. I understood this as a discrimination. I asked for the manager, and when he came out, he said everyone outside could go in. As soon as he went inside, the bouncer asked one waitress to ask me to leave the entry as I was not allowed in. When asked, there was no explanation as to why I was not allowed in. As mentioned previously, I understand this as discrimination, either because I was dressed up on Halloween or because I am not British and have an accent, which apparently really annoyed the bouncer. I am asking for an apology because this is really distressing.

We used to come here all the time for food but have moved away. Unfortunately this was a terrible experience for us - first of 3 of our 5 dishes came and was cold and undercooked and one more came it was undercooked chicken and feeezing cold salsa in the tacos that had clearly been defrosted as it was pouring out with water and then never even seen our 5th dish? After all dishes having issues we finally decided to just not eat and leave. So disappointed as this used to be our favourite lace to eat but it’s definitely gone down hill so much since we last came, it’s sad to see. Also disappointed as by the time we waited for the food is ended up just too late to eat and decided to just head home and it ruined our day out.

Absolutely rubbish. Not to mention overpriced drinks they really need to do something with their staff starting the dj - what the hell? Looks like they hire their friends or cousins who play some ridiculous songs especially on Fridays for the sake of their own fun. The dj would always be on their phone or chatting with whoever and vape, they don't even notice people leave in front of him. Secondly, we had the worst experience in male toilet with the abusive African looking seller, he physically grabbed my husband because he sprayed "too much perfume" after PAYING him. This is rather ridiculous. After the argument we were told to wait outside to chat with security which we did and explained that we are not the people to cause problems and even if we were wrong for spraying 4 pumps of perfume instead of 2 there's no way they can physically grab customers. All we got from security was arrogant attitude saying that our night was over because perfume was actually £5 per person - they were told £2. An absolute clown show the place was literally empty anyways and I can guarantee it won't last long with this staff attitude - staff? Toilet workers - good luck on your carrer in the toilet

The place is great, the food is good quality and the coffee is absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional and a special shout out to Julia, she was amazing and made our visit even better.

Me and my friends came to Revolución de Cuba for a cocktail class and night out and it was amazing! We were served by Becca and we couldn’t have gotten a better person to make our night so special for my friends hen party! She went above and beyond for us and she is amazing at what she does. We then followed the night by live music and a dance it just make the night even better!!

Had a great afternoon enjoying the premium bottomless brunch with friends. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, bringing cushions so we could be comfortable outside and even offering us sunscreen for the unusually sunny weather! The brunch food was very tasty and the cocktails were delicious. Great value and I'd recommend going premium to have the wider choice of drinks. Big thanks to the team here for looking after us, you do a great job.

Very disappointed by Revolution. Had to wait 10 minutes to get a pint (which was initially sent to the wrong table) and 40 minutes for food, which tasted ok but really was absolutely not worth the wait for what was basically toasted sandwiches. This was a Sunday night and wasn’t busy, so not sure why I had to wait so long.

This is supposed to be the only Latin bar in Aberdeen and the music is nothing but Latin. I went on a Friday night that was apparently was dedicated to Afro music and there was not announcement on social media. The usual DJ has been playing the same music for the last 10 years. Please, update your mursic playlist with new releases and KEEP IT LATIN

Went for lunch. Great food, staff attentive and friendly. Bit noisy at times but not an issue.

An excellent lunch, great attentive service with an excellent ambience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and great value, the drinks were also great value and served quickly and friendly by Shannon.

Experienced Sunday brunch with 🍸cocktails good deal for £25. Quiet atmosphere, but to be expected on a Sunday. Good sitting area outside but personally felt it was abit tired looking and could do with updating and a freshen up? Staff attentive as you get 5 cocktails for the Brunch so they kept them coming ! All very good but it's a smaller menu to choose from, which I felt was a good choice for the deal 😀

Popped in for cocktails after dinner, very pleased with the prices, had special deals on, atmosphere was good only problem was they don't take cash!! we didn't have cards on us so had to go elsewhere.

Had voucher for this venue. 5 Tapas and cocktails. Booked and went early when not busy. Cocktails were good and the tapas had a good menu. Food was very good and service fast. Staff attentive. More clubby/pubby than restraunty but was fine.

Kiran (I hope that's the way his name is spelt) was a fantastic server, gave my child some colouring in pencils and a book whilst we had our meal. Flavours were fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back for food and more cocktails 🍸

Went in for a drink , ordered a zombie 🧟‍♂️ drink , then came to payment handed £10 for my drink , said no sorry card only , so drink sitting there I was like can I give u 10 and somebody or manager even could pay and I’ll give u cash so I can actually pay for the drink,as I only had cash no card well nope nobody had card with cash no even the manager lol I understand it’s no the type of thing they do, but place was dead , poor show , no going back, feel bad staff had no money most likely paid minimum wage n manager most likely keeps tips also as he broke too sad 😞

Door men excellent, no outdoor seating when we arrived. They without asking grabbed us as soon as a table came available and kept any one from sitting on it! Bouncer with the beard- good lad

Visited two days in a row and both days was served by Julia. What a lovely girl she is, so friendly and excellent service from her. 10/10 for Julia. She deserves recognition. Fantastic lunch deal of burger and a cocktail for £10 I will be back soon.

Food was great, drinks were amazing and service was exceptional.... I love how the staff dealt with an extremely rude customer who obviously just wanted to get freebies. Customer grabbed the foods on the counter instead of waiting to be served claiming it was sitting there for 10 mins (what a load of BS). The person who I think is the manager took over serving these 'men' if they can even be called that 🤣. It was nice to see the team covering for their fellow team member. Good handling!

Did not have a good experience at all. Came for dinner. After 20 minutes at our table we had not even had a drink order taken, my husband went to the bar to order. Finally ordered and drinks arrived. I ordered tapas which arrived 10/15...

Great things come in small packages. This place is a party hub for the working class and students alike. Aah upbeat Cuban dance music. Never experienced this before, I'm so inspired I now have a playlist of Afro-Cuban dance and Latin jazz music. Check out the place and try the Raggae Rum Punch. Tasty food, a busy lively place

I came mid week and as a result it was rather quiet. Myself and a colleague enjoyed the tapas menu though portions were on the small side. We stayed for a number of drinks before heading to another local bar. £15 on tapas bit still hungry, perhaps that's me as my colleague was satisfied. Was good and would come again If I didn't live in Manchester.

Tacos and cocktails were fantastic. I love the layout of the venue it's very nice and relaxed. I cant believe I hadn't been before and look forward to coming back!

Great food , definitely worth upgrading to premium for bottom less brunch! When booking ask for a booth or table near a window or you might be placed in the middle of the room ! Cashless service which they don't tell you! Took a while to get waitress attention as well and you only get 2 hours for your brunch so if the waitress doesn't serve you quick you could lose out ! Was nice though , def go back !

I met friends that I haven’t met after a long time and Lois, who’s was in the bar, was really friendly and make my meeting with friends the best.

Rev de Cuba is brilliant. Great venue with tasty food options, a large menu of tasty cocktails and a great atmosphere. We prebooked a table and cocktail drinks bowl and the table was in a prime location. Only reason for 4 stars was that in male toilet there was a vendor who was expecting payment to hand you soap etc. Which wasn't expected.

Went for an evening meal last week. Food and service was good. I would like to visit again in the future.

First time tasting the new tapas style restaurant- absolutely delicious. 4 tapas between two, but we should have gotten bread to wipe up the tasty chorizo sauce and garlic prawn butter.

Lovely bouncer on at 11pm on Saturday saved me from a wardrobe malfunction! Much appreciated and 10/10 service, thank you.

Been there once for food, which is great by the way. It must have been festive period because they served festive burrito? Best burrito I ate. Drinks are a bit expensive but sooo good! The staff is very nice and enthusiastic. But the best part of Rev de Cuba is Saturday nights 💃 Best music, always full of people (which is sometimes overwhelming but who can blame them 🎉). This is one of the very few places I can go for a party and have great fun sober 🤣 So five stars!
