Was planning a Trip to a local castle and this came up on a Trip Advisor search. Lovely little cafe and plenty of parking around if you look.Staff were very attentive and friendly, food was amazing , hot very tasty, came out fast but cooked extremely well. Good prices. We don't live near but plan on returning when in the area.

Superb breakfast in a clean, friendly and welcoming cafe in Dollar. They make the most of local produce and we're delighted to support this local business. Particular favourites include the smashed avocado on sourdough, scrambled egg with side of haggis, home baking and coffee. Chef makes a great job ensuring maximum taste, creativity and thoughtful presentation. Waiting staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Very reasonable prices too.

Love going here the food is excellent and simply the place to go in Dollar. I think their filled rolls, I always get haggis and bacon, are delicious. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Homely cafe with a simple but delightful menu of tasty food. We both had the pepper and feta quiche which was delicious. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Highly recommended for lunch!

Passing on our way to Dollar Glen and found this very nice, bright, clean, upmarket cafe with an interesting menu. We had fish chowder with a smoked cheddar sandwich and steak lorne sausage in a sourdough roll with coffees. Lovely, tasty food made with good quality ingredients and excellent Americano coffees. Friendly, efficient service. Would recommend.

My husband and I popped in here after a long walk and intended to buy a coffee and tea to take away. The staff were so lovely and friendly we ended up going out with a home made cheese scone and a Portuguese tart. We would have stayed for lunch had we not had to go back to Edinburgh. We will certainly pop in again if we are in the area.

What an amazing cafe. I ordered the avocado on toast with a fried egg and it was absolutely divine ! Lovely atmosphere and decor and the coffee was perfect. 10/10 would recommend.

Stopped for a breakfast with a superb choice, incl Vegan, gf etc! After recommendation, went for Smashed Avacado and grilled tomato.. absolutely delicious! Thanks ! Hope to pop by again

We ordered a takeaway coffee and hot chocolate. Hot chocolate was a bog standard Cadbury hot chocolate. The coffee tasted like instant coffee not enjoyable at all. Service was a little all over the place as they were unsure how much a takeaway hot chocolate was and staff standing around unsure what to do. Can’t say we would be back.

Took a wrong turn while looking for somewhere to eat and found this excellent wee place, absolutely great, friendly staff and an excellent choice of food. Had 2 x salmon and dill cheese on rye bread with a side of salad and mayo. An excellent wee gem of a find. Couldn't fault it at all.

Only two tables for dog owners which were full despite there being empty tables we could not take the dog.

Coffee - would nor recommend this place - you would not know your drinking coffee - weak - no taste or flavour - @ £3.30 for a latte very poor & half filled takeaway cup. Cakes - very over priced. Toilets almost unaccessible - very basic interior , uncomfortable seating - wooden tables & chairs. Front of care service area also very poorly designed & arranged no space for customers or staff to move around cafe.

The staff were lovely, & very attentive & nothing was too much trouble for them. Their sweet potato & lentil soup was the best we had ever tasted. A very enjoyable experience being there today.

Lovely new cafe on the Dollar Main Street. The food is delicious, fresh high quality ingredients that are well cooked and many home made cakes to choose from. Would highly recommend and already looking forward to returning.

I thought I would try this cafe as it had changed owners recently. What I found was a place without atmosphere, very bland interior, and coffee and food prices expensive as well as a limited menu It is only open at weekends at the moment.
